Printing on transparencies

Nobody knows what the print settings are on HP Officejet 7610 to print in black on a transparency?

The page here list HP 3834 has transparency media as compatible with all models of HP ink jet.  I suspect that the reason for which is not within the parameters of the pilot is due to most of the people moving to digital projectors rather than using transparent media.

I would not expect any media transparency inkjet to cause warranty problems.

I print transparencies disturbing my Epson Artisan 835 and hp deskjet 952c.  On the epsom he feel about 2 inches and then ejects the transparency and you can print the indicator light flashes then I guess that it prints on the roller.  The HP DeskJet rolls paper thru as it is printing and it does not print anything.  Please help to suggest... we are in the middle of a big project.  My HP Laserjet print well but not good resolution as the Epson and a HP deskjet.  Thank you, O.

    Hi OliviaSierra,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. What is the version of Windows installed on the computer?
    3. How printers are attached? Local or network printer?

I suggest that you print a test page for two printers and check if it prints.

If the test page does not print, then I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the computer printer drivers and reinstall the latest drivers for the printer, check if it helps.

  • Do not print transparencies

I received a work of Illustrator loaded with transparencies on a University background. Although I find it odd, I can't unlink or select all the individual pieces.

I tried to save an earnings per share and print with InDesign server Konica CREO or RIP to Poly plates. Both are coming out with white boxes and forms in the background. I tried directly out of Illustrator. I tried PDF, but it's only good until it flattens, which accomplishes the CREO and then all the white boxes appear in the PDF file. Any suggestions on how to get this job to plate or digital press?

Export it as a psd (photoshop file pick.

Then place it in artificial intelligence or try saving it as a PDF.

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see you're wondering how to set up printing double-sided with your HP Envy 5532. I'm happy to help you!

To set up duplex printing, I recommend you to go through this guide, print on both sides of the paper (duplex) for HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one and Deskjet Ink Advantage 4510 e - all-in - One Printer Series, such that it has instructions for Windows and Mac. Also, here are some tips for you to follow:

Do not print on both sides of the following types of paper, or jams may occur:

    • Transparencies

    • Photo paper
    • Glossy paper
    • Paper lighter than 60 g/m2 (16 lb).
    • Heavier than 105 g/m2 (28 lb) paper.

Several kinds of paper require a specific orientation when you print on both sides of a sheet. It's letterhead, preprinted paper and paper with watermarks and pre-perfores holes. The printer will print the first side of the first book. Load paper with the top edge first and the side to be printed facing downwards.

In addition, this post, Vista / Win 7 Duplex printing Troubleshooting Guide, by @Bob_Headrick. Maybe some answers for you as well.

In the print dialog box (after selection file and print), you will see a box next to duplex printing, which can be checked or unchecked, to toggle between the two functions.

To change the print quality, you want to go through this guide, the series e-all-in-one HP ENVY 5530 and series of e-all-in-one HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4510 - Print Documents (Windows).

For future reference, here is the user guidefor your printer.

  • Consistent black dots on printed

    Hi guys,.

I use the HP Laserjet Pro 200 m251nw.

The problem is that I get those black dots on the print in consistent locations on the image. I tried everything I could think of to ease the problem. I changed the type of paper to take into account that I use (brilliant (120g) and printed out several pages of cleaning on transparencies without result. I thought maybe it was a problem of compression on the wireless, so I downloaded the images on a USB and tried to print it that way, but still no luck.

    It makes me crazy!

I scanned the sheet so that those of you who know a thing or two can see the problem firsthand... This is one of the better ones. For some reason any it prints very well on the last two rows now.

Help! Please, I beg you! I'm losing my mind!

    So, I thought about it.

The images were 600ppp JPEG because I thought that's what this printer was estimated to be. The consistency of the points made me think it was a compression problem... After abandoning their up to 420 dpi points have disappeared and it is printing very well.

Come on me, I'm awesome. So, any 600 dpi for this thing. Wigs it.

  • NET gradient transparency of RGB to CMYK for print

Downloaded a file from RGB gradient mesh. Did not sting lines will appear after the flattening of transparencies and conversion to CMYK also changed the subject. The main thing that changes are the strong points of the object then I manually changed those until I managed to do it look they way had to be (basically add extra lines on the mesh and using white spot on the high brightness and opacity 0 on the edges to have a more natural mix). Then, I tried to dish/pixelation/opening in photoshop - flatten - save as JPEG and nothing worked as when I print (with Roland VS540) it does not come out as it should. Help, please!

    IMG_1660.JPGIMG_1664.JPGIMG_1661.JPGIMG_1665.JPG

Do not use the JPEG to CMYK, which was only intended for RGB. Try to save as format .psd.

In Bridge > Edit > color settings > choose a > recommended below

This will synchronize the creative suite settings, as I see that you have customized.

  • Boxes around PNGs on Print

Hi I'm new to Indesign and need to print a large part in the past.

When I print, I get these transparent boxes around my PNG.

    IMG_0008.JPG

The strange thing is, this isn't the case on my digital document

    2.png

If someone could help me that would be greatly appreciated?

Im not sure if this is a problem with the printer or if I not export properly.

    Apologies and thanks to all,

I have finally fixed and sorted

just out of curiosity, it was a number of things that helped me, it was the flattner preset and PSD files that helped me.

    1. Edition > Aplatissements predefined transparencies, click on the top as a starting point, and then click new.
    2. File > print, output, choose Test CMYKand CHECK the simulate overprinting . Under Advanced Options, select your all-raster flattening.

    appreciate your help,

  • Need a new printer.

My PSC 2210 is really pointing upwards and I need to get a new HP.  Is there an 'all in one' which does a decent job with color slides?  I really don't want to buy two units and simply copy the blades once then I will be.  A fax is not mandatory, but it will use if there is an 'all in one' who will do the slides.  My printing needs are simple and personal letter black and white, color, copies of letters and pictures.  The PSC 2210 filled all my needs, with the exception of not being able to make snow.

Color slides do you mean that you want to scan 35 mm slides or you want to print transparencies?  Scanning 35mm slides requires an adapter of backlight, mentioned by HP as an adapter (TMA) media transparency.  Listed here that this function does not appear to be offered on the new HP all-in-one units, it is available in some specialty photo scanners.

  • Need CMYK for printer... but the msg «document uses space mix CMYK...» "concerning

    Hi all

I need to create PDF output which is the printer CMYK.

I thought I did everything correctly until I got this message that was generated when I chose to export (in PDF format), "the document uses space CMYK. Are converted to RGB in interactive PDF files. To avoid color variations, click Cancel and choose Document RGB in the Edit > menu of the space of merger of transparencies. Click OK to continue. »

So, I think it means that the PDF export is saved in a RGB color space. Is this a correct interpretation? If so, how do I preserve the CMYK color space because it is what needs the printer? Is it still possible or relevant?

    Thank you10-04-2014 1-46-37 PM-InDesign-color_space.png

You shouldn't make an interactive PDF for the printer. Choose export and edit drop-down list type to PDF (Print) or use file > Adobe PDF presets > and choose your preset from the list.

  • Transparency flattening / rasterization of large print files

    Hello world

I was wondering if anyone out there with experience dealing with large prints (72 in. x 36 in. @350 dpi) has any advice in the following situations:

I was hired to make a print in large print for a gallery (12 ft by 3 ft). They want me to use a favorite printer that requires a resolution of the final output of 300-350dpi. My source file is an Illustrator file (CS5.1) containing of MANY overlapping polygons, transparencies (100)). The printer had me said first that there was a weather provide the Illustrator file as two parts, 6 ' x 3 ' with as well as vectors. They just go for me and rejected my files, request now full resolution TIFF. I tried flattening transparency and the output to TIFF, but either Illustrator crashes indefinitely to halfway in the process or errors, telling me that the combination of the size and the resolution is impossible to exit. I even tried to import into photoshop as a smart object, etc. It seems I am running out of memory/cpu power/Illustrator skills even if I tried this on a mac pro with 12 GB quad cpu memory. For the moment, I'm screwed. I have no idea how rasterize my art in vector at an acceptable resolution anywhere near. The image is very dense and full of subtle changes in color and density due to transparency. I need to preserve as much as possible. I'd be happy for any guidance in this area. Thank you!

Save the file as an .ai with PDF compatibility on. Then open in Photoshop and pixelation.
