Printing Raw images

When I open a Camera Raw image in PE6 it as a picture of 240 dpi 9.9x6.6.  I print my images in 300 dpi and up to 8.5 x 11.  Can I do this successfully with a Raw file image?

This is approximately equal to a capture image of 1643 x 2465 pixel of a 4 MP camera, not big by standards today.  Is that the larger size of the image to which your camera can record images in native mode?  Or you use a reduced size to save raw images? That's assuming that you do not use a small output in your camera Raw workflow Options.

To print an 8.5 "x 11" at 300 dpi, you would need a pixel of 3300 pixel image file from a camera 8.5 MP 2550.

You will have to re - sample upward in ACR (assuming as ACR in Photoshop Elements allows) or Photoshop Elements himself.

    Hello

I've had Photoshop for a long time now and I have a problem. When you look at the RAW images they have a green tint on the shadows (that's when them preview in Bridge, Photoshop and Camera RAW). This problem seems to be resolved by reducing the window and then making it full screen again a few seconds later. How ever after that, if I switch to another image and returned to the Green cast is there in the shadows.

If I print screen you can see the problems in any other image editor the long side of a screen of the watch of the image "resolved."

Anyone know how to solve this problem. I added a screenshot for comparrison to screen.

    Thank you

P.s. There are lots worse images I can download if people want more information, or even just to see more of problem.

It is not the never saw that a factory (for example, from Dell) color profile is not correctly formatted for general use (e.g. Photoshop).

Try to uncheck [use my settings for this device (or add sRGB Color Space Profile.icm and make default) so that your system is configured to use the profile sRGB for the monitor and see if the problem persists.  I am betting it will be coherent by then, and the Dell ST2210 (HDMI) profile is a little confusing to Photoshop.

  • Resize raw Images? Need help!

Do I need to resize my raw images when I convert Raw (Nikon D80 NEFF files) of 240 ppi to 300 DPI in TIFF processing?  I'll tell you.  I shoot in Raw, Nikon D80, convert to TIFF to perform the treatment.  The size of the image and the default PPP is 16,133 "X 10.8", about and 240 ppi.  When I shot with JPEG, perfect quality, same device, the file automatically opens with 12 "x 8", about and 300 ppi. "  I can resize the image when I made batch of Raw to TIFF of 300 ppp.  Is how important it?  Most of the photo I don't print not and if I print I usually specify printing size and the laboratory produced the images.  Any help would be appreciated.

    The 13th floor

No, it will not matter, only the pixel dimensions of importance for the on-screen display

or on the web. It is important, when you print, but most printers do everything

the calculations for you when you enter a print size.

JPEGs and raw images are the same size in pixels, so if you open

a raw image into elements and go to Image > Resize Image size and value

the resolution to 300 without resampling box checked, you will see that they

are the same, so no need to change anything.

I have an HD camera that records on SD cards.  How can I save raw images to a hard drive without import it at the FCC and then share?

YYou want to save raw images, but not all? Is that what you mean? When you import into FVP you can select the songs you want and you can set the library in the Inspector to record the files on any player, anywhere.

  • In the photos, RAW images not be open as RAW in photoshop

Just downloaded images from my camera (Canon 7 d) for the photos and info of the image suggests that they were recorded as the RAW images, which is what I expected.  However when I go to open to edit in photoshop CS 6, the extension changed to jpg format.  This has only started happening since the upgrade to El Capitan...

Unless there is a reason you want to use Photos, download the camera RAW

Download files by using the application of Capture of Image or Canon apps (camera window DC8

worked for me).  I think that Adobe Bridge CS6 download is broken in El Capitan and

Adobe has no plan to fix it (they want to subscribe to the CC is why).

Same problem here. There was no picture printing problem until the upgrade. Now, they won't print and it's ruin how I run my entire business. Image logo printing on the packaging of the lists, codes bars printing of shipping labels. I deleted the cache and restarted. I also tried other browsers and is it not the problem.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you!

  • DPP4 will correctly process RAW images using a 70 d and Sigma 120-400 mm lens?

Hi, I would like to buy a used Sigma 120-400 mm lens, as the cost will allow me to upgrade my Canon 300 mm f2.8 L IS lens to the mark 2 version. I also own a Canon 70-200 f4 L IS, Canon macro 100 mm f2.8 L IS, Canon 18-55 mm IS USM, Canon 70 two d cameras and a flash Canon 600 EX - RT. Unfortunately, I can't justify the purchase of a Canon 100-400 mm f4.5/6.6 L IS 11, as well as the upgrade of my 300 mm.

I could not identify a RAW editor free alternatative of DPP-4, that will actually process RAW images from my 70 d cameras. I do not require the installation of fixed lens of DPP4.

You can always use PLR (3 or 4) as your RAW converter when you use a Sigma lens. You just won't be able to use the digital objective Optimizer (DLO of Canon) on these files. DLO only supports Canon lenses.

RawTherapee is a free RAW converter that should work with your 70 d, however I would recommend a few stick with DPP, if you do not need a correction of the lens. FWIW, I don't know if RawTherapee has lens correction or not in all cases.

    1. Have you tried to open the image in another application (other than stick them in a doc) as standard Windows Picture Gallery and printing from there?
    2. You have installed the Microsoft office program on your computer?

I suggest to set the default printer and check the status of the issue.

HP provide instructions that should get your printer working at least... follow them to the letter...

BTW, the printer MUST be connected through a USB cable...
