  I have problems with connectivity issues with my wireless router. I have a Verizon DSL modem which is wired to a Windows XP computer and the wireless router. I have a total of 3 computers wireless (1 Office XP wireless, 1 laptop Vista) and XP wireless laptop 1. For these last months, I had intermittent connection dropping issues. I tried to change the channel on the parameters 9-05:49 wireless and so on and so forth, but the only channels that work for a while are 9 and 11, but I still feel the droppings of connection.   Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER... Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...

  On the Configuration tab change MTU size to 1300, then click on save settings...

  Click the settings advanced wireless

  Change the interval of tag to 75 > change the Fragmentation threshold to 2304, change the RTS threshold to 2304 > click 'save settings '...

  Now let's see if you can locate your wireless network and try to connect...

• Connect printer 6800 to new router

  I searched all the pages of HP and this forum and that you have not found an answer that works. I have a printer Deskjet 6840 and just had to buy a new router (linksys N750) and cannot connect to the wireless printer.

  Turns out be the encryption mode. Thought they were both on the WPA. But the new router has been set to WPA2. The old 6800 does not WPA2.  Talk about the router crashed down to WPA and devices. We lose the ability of N. But only a last us another few months. So a good workaround solution.

  Would be not found if your suggestions is not used me in my printer configurations and router.

  Try to reinstall Windows and configure the account again, and after reaching the office, create a backup account.

• Problem connecting iPhone to the sky Router 6.

  My iPhone 6 relates to our router from Sky for about 4 months and I've never had a problem with it. I woke up this morning and its not connected. tried to restart the phone, restart the router, forgetting network and reconnect.

  The phone connects to my wifes phone using a hotspot without problem.  All other currencies work without problem, I am out of ideas now.

  A FIOS Actiontec router wireless, printer HP 6515 functioned well as a wireless network printer.  Just replaced FIOS with Xfinity Cisco router.  Shows printer HP 6515 as connected (print network configuration page) but both PC (Windows 7) indicate printer is in offline mode (no check mark).  Printer has set the IP address with FIOS router.  Running doctor printing & scanning HP without success.  Suggestions?  Thank you!

• How to maintain the Illustrator pen tool race settings (size, brush, etc.) for any new route?

  I'm a newbie, so it's probably obvious, but I can't find it in the tutorials or documents.  In Illustrator, I want to keep the race settings when creating multiple paths with the pen tool.  However, whenever I start a new path, the time settings back to what should be a default value.  For example, I put 16pt + Variable + Basic and STROKE width profile path.  When I start a new path, return to 1 point + uniform + Basic settings, and I have to back to my original. Other art programs I've used maintain the settings of the tool used lately until they are manually changed.  How can I get the settings to stay through multiple uses of the pen tool?  Thank you.

• G60 - 228CA: unable to connect to the Linksys E2500 router with laptop G60

  I hope someone can help because I've been through the forums and I will have no chance to solve my problem.  I bought a new router (Linksys E2500) and my laptop (G60 - 228 CA) HP can detect the router but just failed to connect to the internet.

  I tried to diagnose all the problems which have been proposed, but that did not help.  I restarted the router, nothing helps.  I tried to download and install a new driver to replace the old (Atheros AR5007 802. 11 b / g WiFi Adapter) but still had no luck.

  Really not sure where go from here so looking for help solve this problem.

  Verify that the driver you have installed is actually that of 2011.

  If not, go to the device, right click on the atheros wireless card, Manager select uninstall and if there is a box to uninstall driver for check, check.

  Reboot and try the driver I posted again.

  If the date and the driver version is what is indicated on the driver file, then unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

  When you run the network diagnostics I can connect to the internet once, but trying to follow the link or open the second window provides DNS error and kill the connection.
  last error now from network diagnostics is error 0x5b4 to query the server DNS 192.168.1.1; DNS not found, not a home user scenario...

  My printer (Officejet 7310) is connected to two PCs with an ethernet cable and the router. Now I want to install a laptop as well.

  I know that the lap top is communicating with the wireless router, but I can't get the laptop to recognize that there is a printer is installed.

  I tried to connect the printer directly (via Ethernet cable) to the laptop and it works fine. I downloaded the latest version of the software for the 7310 and used two options (without wire and cable).

  Hi recently had outages etc and a new installed router in wifi but now my apple tv 3 does not work but only home screen sharing/settings see I am signed the Mac for home sharing.  When I go into network settings I see the configuration is automatic, but the router shows that n/a, does that mean that I have to put codes?

• Must configure airprint again after a new router

  I had some problems with my internet connection, then got a new router to reset my printer to use with the new router. I was finally able to do it after a while but now not able to print from my iPad 2. I created my wireless news on the ipad so that can get online but when I try to print nothing doesn't come out. The printer comes up and I press print and he said: it's printing but then nothing.   Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.  I think that since the replacement of your router that your Deskjet 3050 a printer is not connected to your new wireless network, making it impossible to use your iPad AirPrint service.

  I'm sorry that you have received a certain disinformation, your Deskjet 3050 a printer supports AirPrint.  The question is, if you don't have the iPad and not a computer with Windows or Mac operating system, to get the printer connected to your new network you will need to use another method.  @Jon-W explains the alternative method, with the steps, in his post here.

  Please let me know how it goes, I want to see you make your printer connected again.

• OfficeJet 6600 e-all-in-one: Wireless connectivity with the new router problem

  We had the printer since 12 months, workin with no problems.

  Just got a new modem/router (NETGEAR V7610) installed as part of the NBN implementation and I can't get the printer to connect to the new router. 5 and 2.4 G active networks. The two defined newtorks on security WPA2-PSK [AES].

  The printer detects the wireless (2. 4 g) network, but can't coplete the connection. Tried the two direct input the network key and using WMA.

  -The display panel shows "wireless invalid password (WPA) is entered.

  -The results of network printer test page indicates a FAILURE on safety.

  I was able to connect to multiple other devices (laptop, iphone, Kindle...) without any problem. Used the two direct entry of the key network and WMA.

  Anything else I can try?

  Find a new update of the firmware for the printer (May 9, 2016).

  After you apply the update, the printer is able to connect to the new modem.
