Problem in my OS identification

Windows vista has been installed in my PC by an engineer and gave me a cd and a key. I saved this key on another page too for the back. Now, I lost the CD and I do not know what operating system it was but am sure it's vista. I only key how can I find the BONES

Hello

Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > it should tell you it the edition of Vista and if it is 32-bit or 64-bit.

If you need to reinstall the operating system and you can not contact engineer:

You can borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key you have determines what Edition is installed.

Builders recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

See you soon.

  • My HP Photosmart C4680 was possessed by the devil

    My touch screen is displayed that it is scanning, even if it's not and I didn't ask to. When I try to restart, it lights up at the main menu for about 45 seconds and then it goes to the menu scanning, then it asks to insert a memory card, and finally he goes to this indicator of scanning.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software. It shows online on my Windows XP Control Panel, but unless I catch him until she started it, it won't print. The only way to stop him is to pull on the power cord and wait and reconnect it. But he does just over and over again.

    Has anyone ever heard talk about this?

    Regarding the response of CamelJockey on May 20, 2011, regarding the capacitor bad, I just sat and created this user account in the express purpose to check everything that was in response to this post.

    In short, I had exactly the same problem.

    Bad cap.

    Followed the instructions, opens the C4680 and he sat the the small 330μF 6.3V capacitor TEAPO, with a high domed grimly in the flat view. All other capacitors (small things can - research) had on beautiful dishes with zero curve or bulge in them and there was no problem whatsoever in the identification of the odd man out.

    Broken the capacitor incriminated, led up to my local MOM and the supply store electronic pop that has been there for the last four decades and got a replacement that differ only by the voltage (10v).

    Went to Sears and bought a good craftsman 150/230 watt iron to be welded (which came with a few nice welding Tin/Silver, tips and a levy which has proved to be indispensable (the sons of the new CAP were a bit larger than the original, and the holes left of the removal of the badly needed CAP weenciest of bore little on)) , came home and made replacement in the near future, shot to the top of the printer and it worked PERFECTLY!

    Hallelujah!

    My hat is out of CamelJockey of the piece seamless from boards.

    And for everyone out there who may be scared to pick up the torx screwdriver and open their printer, don't be afraid. Work slowly, carefully, the son who must be separated from the spirit (those with little plastic plugs is fairly simple and the dish simply pull and push) and in no time you will have the small circuit board by hand, with the faulty capacitor on your mercy, ready to be removed and replaced.

    If you have never soldered before, no worries, it is not difficult. The spirit of the hot tool, be aware that you want to place the tip of the soldering gun heat ONLY IN THE WIRE going to the condenser down with its roots where it plunges into the circuit board and be patient for a minute or three to rest the hot tip of the soldering iron on this thread, giving the heat time to work its way into things enough to melt the solder and exit and then reconnect the two sons, one at a time. Work with pliers to nozzles. Be gentle. Be patient. Maybe the practice on dead equipment taken you aside get everything first, just for a little bit the hang of things. Google some YouTube tutorials if you're still not quite sure or confident and in no time, you'll be ready to go.

    The full cost of the work, new brand solder included, is way less than the cost of a new printer, so what are you waiting for?

    Go there!

    Once again, a thousand thanks to CamelJockey and brazing all happy!

  • The system update tool

    Use of the system after installation update tool?  It does not appear to have solved the problem with security download errors... very frustrating and tedious grrrrr!

    Hello Vespamama,

    Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft answers Forum.

    After you download the system update tool, it runs a unique analysis of inconsistencies that might prevent future maintenance operations. This tool is only offered by Windows Update only if you have a problem that the tool identifies that it can fix.

    What kind of error you see which should be fixed with the system update readiness tool? Maybe there's another fix to your question.

    Following error codes are those who can fix the system preparation tool:

    0 x 80070002

    0x8007000D

    0x800F081F

    0 x 80073712

  • DRM with Overdrive Media Console error message

    I have a HP pavilion dv5230ca laptop, under XP (SP3) with Wi - Fi and purchased in August 2006.  I would like to listen to audio books through our online library.  To do this, I downloaded the Overdrive Media Console application that is required.  When I perform the Windows Media Player Security Upgrade, which is required before any audio books can be downloaded on my computer, I get an error message: "this is a problem to retrieve the identification of digital rights management machine.  Contact Microsoft technical support.  When I go on the Microsoft site, it says if it is a software problem and the computer was purchased with the software already installed, and then contact the manufacturer (HP).  Before talking to someone at HP, I checked in your forum, but there seems to be no reference to my specific problem.

    The only info I can add is that this laptop had an accident in 2007 and we took it to a professional to be restored.  Everything went well with it, except for this problem.  (I can't tell if this problem would have occurred before the accident that I tried to access the audio books so far).

    I'd appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you

    I found a solution to my problem.  I find the DRM folder on my computer (it is a hidden file, so first go to windows Explorer, tools, folder, view tab options, is selected * Show hidden files *, deselected * Hide protected operating system files).  Then to C/documents and settings / all users, and there it was.  Renamed * DRM.old* then through the procedure to update the Windows Media Player Security Update in the Overdrive Media Console software and update was successful and was able to download audio books immediately.  I hope this helps others.

  • Error 0 x 80070643 WSE and a few other things _

    WINDOWS Security Essentials prompted me to update I did, it cannot be performed due to error 0 x 80070643. Restarted, I tried again, same thing. From what I've read, it's a generic error code. After trying to install it once more, he says now: error code 0 x 80070002.

    Vista has developed a lot of problems last year. Many times I have to activate the sound manually, the Explorer is "not responding" about 1 to 5 times. Terrible. There is perhaps an essential element is wrong with my machine. When I tried to contact the Windows Support it 'problems with my product identification No. Well, it's rich, it came pre-installed, and I have no idea what the problem should be with her. It worked fine a year ago.

    What can I do? I am so tired of fighting Vista on everything.

  • DEC with sequence

    Hello

    I know you can do a DEC with a sequence in 12 c but I'm stuck on 11 GR 2 for now.  My problem is mostly performance.

    I have a few codes that I need to sort and store in a table (not a problem).  The problem is that these identification numbers are not contiguous (1,2,3,4, etc), but more random with jumps as 103334, 10567, 11777, etc..  I need to be able to choose later on the ID ordered the lines 1-100, then 101-200, etc.  The performance issue is available in because there are 320 million of these identifiers.

    Initially, I tried this:

    CREATE TABLE R_LXOIDS
    AS
    SELECT
        CAST(NULL AS NUMBER) LXOID_SEQ_ID,
        RO.LxOID
    FROM MxRelType RT
    INNER JOIN LXRO RO
         ON RT.MxOID = RO.LxType
        AND RT.MxName = 'Function'
    ORDER BY RO.LxOID ASC;

    UPDATE R_LXOIDS
    SET LXOID_SEQ_ID = TEMP_SEQ.NEXTVAL
    WHERE LXOID_SEQ_ID IS NULL;

    The initial ETG takes only 15 minutes, but the update takes forever.  Is there a faster option?

    I just thought difficult to create the empty table, then adding an insert before trigger to set the LXOID_SEQ_ID with the following NEXTVAL, then do an insert using the above query, but I thought I'd have the same problems of performance.  Any ideas?

    1. CREATE TABLE R_LXOIDS
    2. AS
    3. SELECT
    4. TEMP_SEQ. NEXTVAL,
    5. RO. LxOID
    6. OF MxRelType RT
    7. INNER JOIN LXRO RO
    8. ON THE RT. MxOID = RO. LxType
    9. IN CANADA. MxName = "function";

    Thank you

    That's the problem with sending information identification does not: you can not identify the systems! The scenarios will give you a number of necessary guests. Investment is not really a problem if they use the DRS still. It can become a hindrence try to identify exceptions. You can always run the planner of the PAC reports.

  • How can I install a trial of my provider before getting my receipt with a serial number?

    The email that said after I submitted my academic verification:

    'We will review your identification within one or two business days of receipt. You will be notified when your identification is approved or if there is a problem with the provided identification. Notice will be sent to this e-mail address. Check the order status page to address any questions about your order.

    You can install and use your product as a trial until 30 days pending receipt of your serial number Adobe. "

    I bought a very large product with features a little, then how do we install which especially before entering the serial number for it?

    Order: Cloud creative Indiv ALL, cross-platform, multi-language desconsiderations

    start your test here, http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html#free-membership

    or if you follow the 7 steps, you can download a trial through one of the links on this page using a browser that accepts cookies: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html

    and activate it with your serial number.

    If you have a problem downloading, you don't follow all 7 steps.  as a general rule, do not carefully follow steps 1, 2 or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies (a setting of restrictive browser) is another potential source of problems.

  • White black type on officejet 8600 display

    This is a good...

    Just bought the new Officejet 8600 and all seem ok with the establishment.  However, the first document ID I tried printing cannot print correctly.

    In the document, I have a number of black areas with white type.  When it prints, the white guy goes black and so cannot be seen.  In addition, this does not happen throughout the entire document.  There are sections that change the color black and there are some who remain in the reverse position.  To complicate the problem, the color change is incompatible in the same line of text?

    I contacted HP and as usual, they thought that the problem is with the identification program.

    This also happens when I tried to print some old documents in place in Pagemaker.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Jim

    Thanks, I tried your suggestion and it worked!

    I didn't know that would be the question as a text always printed in white.

    Well... live and learn.

  • Network - LAN stucks on the identification problem

    I have a problem connecting to a LAN for Windows 7. He repeats to me that the LAN is identification. I have two operating systems of this computer. XP operating system works very well, so I guess that the network adapter is ok. Before Windows 7, used to work I deleted my users and created new users. The IP address is 169.*. *. * and the default gateway is blank. I have another computer hooks up to this router and it works fine. I tried to solve the last two days without success. Help, please.

    OK, if you're connected via cable (no WIFI), then you can try to run Windows 7 in "safe mode with network":

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    part:

    Safe mode with networking

    and test if it works or not.

    Can write you here if your network card is integrated in the motherboard or it is autonomous in the PCI bus card.

    Can you write here the manufacturer and model name of your NIC (stand-alone) or the manufacturer and the model name of your motherboard (integrated in the motherboard)?

    Some information about your network card, you can find in the 'Device Manager':

  • Problems with identification information

    Hello
    using credentials sseems to be easy, but I have problems in 11.2 under linux:
    This code executes without any problems:
    Start
    dbms_scheduler.create_job (job_name = > 'TESTJOB', job_type = > 'EXECUTABLE', job_action = > ' /tmp/mytouch.sh',enabled= > TRUE);
    end;
    /
    Externaljobs.ora run_user is tomtester and rungroup tomtester as well.
    so I have that my problems seem to be a protection problem.

    For the use of credentials, I have a tomtester of OS user with tomtester as password. I can connect with the user and can run /tmp/mytouch.sh with no problems.

    So I created a credential:

    Start
    dbms_scheduler.create_credential ('MYCREDENTIAL', 'tomtester', 'tomtester');
    end;
    /

    And change my job creation script to use these credentials:

    Start
    dbms_scheduler.create_job (job_name = > 'TESTJOB', job_type = > 'EXECUTABLE', job_action = > ' /tmp/mytouch.sh',enabled= > TRUE, credential_name = > 'MYCREDENTIAL');
    end;
    /
    This job fails with error # 27370
    "EXTERNAL_LOG_ID ="job_81737_5706 ",
    ORA-27369: Vom Typ EXECUTABLE been nicht mit output-job Code: argument list too long
    STANDARD_ERROR = "" launch external job failed: invalid username or password "" "

    Invalid user or password - why that? None of my OS users can run any job. The error message is always invalid user or password.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance
    Joe

    Hey Joe,

    If you use a credential, externaljob.ora is not used. Instead, the Scheduler uses $ORACLE_HOME/bin/jssu connect to the operating system using the username and password specified in the credentials.

    Here are a few things to check

    s ' ensure that identification information has been created with the right user name and credentials
    -Make sure that you can su and sudo user
    -check the system or newspapers for connection errors
    -If you use linux or solaris make sure that pam is properly installed. In particular, make sure that the libpam.so file exists and is a link to a valid existing file

    Hope this helps,
    Ravi.
