• Linksys WAG120N DSL light problem

  Hello!

  Yesterday, I bought the Linksys Wireless - N Home ADSL2 + Modem Router WAG120N (version Annex-A). I have configured the modem/router and it worked very well. Today, I was surfing the internet just fine and I left my computer for a few minutes, when I came back I noticed that there is no internet connection. The internet light on the modem was no longer on, and the DSL one blinking. I turned off the unit and then it back on, but the question was always present. I tried to restore the default settings and configure the modem again, but nothing seems not to help (reset the modem, turn off all devices on it and reboot the modem/router). The DSL led keeps flashing and turns off a few seconds then flashes again. The internet light appears only when I restart the modem and it flashes in red just after turning on the unit. I thought that there is a problem with my ISP, but I plugged my previous modem and it works fine. I don't know what is happening. What is really weird, is that it was working fine yesterday and today, nothing seems to help. You guys have ideas, what can be the problem here?

  I agree that there is no problem with the connection to your ISP, since the old modem works fine. It might be really have something wrong with the WAG120N. Since you bought just a few days ago, be replaced by a new unit.

• WAG120N, firmware problem!

  Hi people,

  I upgraded this v Router 1.0.016 to 1.0.0.20 latest firmware available, but I am only able to access the basic page settings. If click any other link I am unable to access it as guard asking to repeated connection.

  I'm stuck because I can't access restrictions or the administrator on the router options to improve the security features.

  I tried to reset the options I did not. If please suggest ideas for me or guide me someone can solve this problem.

  You can not. Linksys devices are mainstream devices and support only LAN 255.255.255.0 subnet or smaller. They consider that 254 IP addresses is sufficient for a consumer LAN.

  I have local Wi - Fi network with 2 Macs, 2 PC, iPhone, iPod and iPad to router Linksys WAG120N House. On iPad when I try to connect to the Internet I have to turn the WiFi market.   Yesterday, I bought a WAG120N Wireless Modem Router ADSL2 +, and everything works fine, except:

I want to install a wireless bridge between this and an E1500, so I can connect my TV to the E1500 (via ethernet cable) and have access to the internet.   2. either install 3rd party firmware like dd - wrt or tomato or buy a dedicated wireless bridge and connect the E1500 to the bridge. This way, you can also use the wireless in the E1500 for wireless connections.

• MacBook Pro display problem

  As of recently, I have noticed some glitches when feeding on my MacBook or awakened from his sleep.

I actually ran a report on the system at 2 different times and my quality of full load is depleting of 1.2% per charge cycle, which is very worrying. I went from 6281 mAh mAh 6138 maximum capacity after two cycles of load. I'm tracking closely it because at this rate, my battery will survive only at load cycles about 150 instead of the 1000 expected, gives me the idea that this could very well be a bad battery. The computer is also warm to the touch while you sleep, not connected to the power supply. I NAP active but even taking into account should not be hotter my iPhone did the same thing.

  I have reset the SMC, and it solved a couple of problems. The charger works fine now and my performance improved considerably (which made me feel better, either it is a high-performance laptop, a 11-inch MacBook Air should not he surpass), and battery life has improved. I feel even if it uses a lot of power in his sleep. Maybe I need to turn off the NAP and see if that makes a difference. The graphic bug still persists however, and I don't have enough time to see if the max battery is depleting again.

  After reviewing your post, it seems that you are having problems with the screen showing strange things on it. Looks like you already have a troubleshooting. I recommend you read this article, as reset NVRAM would be to reset your screen resolution settings that should help.
