Problem installing Win7 Lenovo B50-80

Hi, I want to downgrade to Win7, so I changed the Startup Mode for Legacy Support, and the boot to the first Legacy priority, booted from the DVD, installed Win7 (32 and 64 bit tried) but it always freezes when you first start on
\windows\system32\DRIVERS\disk.sys

I found a recommendation of B50 with other guys with older versions of BIOS, where they changed the controller sata from AHCI to compatible mode, but I don't have this option in bios v3.0 and same problem with OS Optimized Defaults, where I only turn on and off but no other OS such as recommended elsewhere.

Can anyone give me a tip how I can get Win7 on this laptop?

The question was therefore not in the bios settings, but in the State of evil of MBR. When I tried to get rid of the GPT to be able to install the Win7(32bit) I used MBRtool to move GPT on the MBR, but this step has not been made properly. After days of testing I put the HARD disk to another switch to win7 computer the MBR damaged to GPT and then I was able to install Win7 64 bit on Lenovo.

Hope that this post will save someone some pain a day

The product was delivered with Win 10 installed but I need to run Win7 Pro.

I photographed the disk before working on it and can restore to Win 10 without problem.

However, when you start the process with a USB or DVD, I am able to choose the country, then be able to click on 'Install now', but I am then asked the drivers for the USB or CD/DVD drive. I downloaded them from the HP site but installation will not find them when searched.

I'm very frustrated and need to get Windows 7 installed... How to repair the unit to 'see' the drivers can be installed in order to continue the installation?

    Hello:

Microsoft Windows 7 installation media is not the native USB 3.0 drivers.

Therefore, add USB 3.0 drivers in Windows installation flash drive.

Intel has on it.  They have a utility that does all the work for you.

Follow the instructions in the Readme link to make a bootable USB flash drive to your windows installation DVD.

Run it, and then tap your Installation USB Windows Media, and Windows 7 should install.

    See if it works...

I discovered that apart Intel chipset USB 2.0 support Skylake chipset.

This means that windows installs the drivers normal USB will not work.

The Microsoft Windows DVD ISO not the USB 3.0 drivers natives either.

Therefore, add USB 3.0 drivers in the Windows ISO file.

  • Problems installing Bootcamp & Win7

I've been dealing with compatibility issues with my recently purchased Windows 7 Home Premium and Bootcamp.

I know that more will be a bit heavy to read, but please bare with me, I'm really starting to lose hair in this

Bootcamp does not recognize the file .iso 64-bit image, although it is.

I downloaded a different 64-bit .iso from softpediaand managed to burn on a USB drive after that I added my mac into Bootcamp info.plist file model.
I did it according to the instructions on falkas and slamno7 of this thread: . http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/bootcamp-win-7-iso-with-both-64bit-and-32bit 1561855 /

After having burned the .iso, I try to continue to install Win7 I'm prompted with this instead: http://i.imgur.com/BPxchFq.png

Sorry for my OSX in Finnish, but she said something along the lines of:

    "Not found install disc. .

Insert the disc to install Windows to tray and wait until it is recognized. »

For this reason, I can't actually make the partition. I tried to make the partition manually with the utility tool disk, but after Bootcamp says that I must cancel the score, after which I should do once again using BC, but of course, I can't because this same error again.

I also tried to boot in USB Wininstall disk after doing the manual partition, but it stops after the first line to say a word on a missing bootmgr (if it is relevant, I can check again down the error Word for Word)

I'm under iMac 27 "end 2013 with the Mavericks, and I bought the lizengo.fi Win7 (site also. co.uk and .de mirrors)

I got a keycode for Windows 7 my friend, with whom I have downloaded an .iso full Microsoft home page (my own code didn't work for some reason any). And with the new image .iso file, everything went as it should.

Well, I had to play with the Bootcamp drivers and start all over again on the first time because Windows could not start after installation, but the second time around everything went like it's supposed to. • Satellite A300 (PSAG8E) - hardware problems after I installed win7 ultimate

    Hello and good day,

I installed win7 ultimate a few days ago, windows was able to recognize most of my material accepts my build of microphone and camera and another component, I'm not sure what it is (Windows Update automatically downloaded the driver of sound and graphics for me).

My questions are - where you can find the remaining drivers and where can I get the preinstalled Toshiba tools and software? (The site pilot in the support page Toshiba does not include drivers and software)

    Thank you very much
    King Ben Simon

    Hello

I have the Satellite A300 (PSAG8E) too and installed Win7 Home premium and everything works perfectly.

Initially, I must say that I do not know where you are looking for the drivers and tools of Toshiba and that all things because utilities are downloadable on support Toshiba & download page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

It is logical that MIC will not work if you have not installed the appropriate driver. Installing drivers only and not using Microsoft update. What you need are the real and tested and not some free drivers of the internet.

Go to the Toshiba download page and install all the stuff following this order of installations:
    -Win7
    -chipset driver
    -Storage Manager
    -display driver
    -driver sound
    -modem driver
    -utility supervisor
    -infrared
    -patches
    -configfree
    -VAP
    Hardware - toshiba
    Control - HDMI
    -WLAN driver

Everything works well but lacks some drivers

    Added Vista tips:
Toshiba - help - working properly
    -Card reader - installed correctly
-Webcam driver for A500 - tested with Skype - works correctly.
    Driver - Synaptics

  • Satellite A300D - problem with installing Win7

    Hello
A few days ago, my HARD drive was broken down. I bought a new one and tried to install Win7 Ultimate x 64 (7600) on it. But I had a hard time:
-L'installation interrupts on the stage of "Complete installation" and the laptop turns off when the second restart proceed, before the stage when it is necessary to fill in some fields, for example the name of the computer, etc.
So a question arises: what happened and what is required for a successful installation?

Satellite A300D is the old model of laptop, and you can order is original Vista recovery DVD only.
I installed Win7 32 bit on A300/A300D successfully and think that 64-bit installation should not make trouble.

  • Correct drivers Bluetooth for my Lenovo B50 - 80

    Hi all!

I just bought a new laptop of Lenovo B50-80. To be more precise the product of my device number is 80EW0192IX.

I did a clean install of windows 7 and I am trying to install all the drivers downloaded from the lenovo website (http://support.lenovo.com/it/it/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-b-series-laptops/lenovo-b50-80-... ).

I was just wondering which bluetooth driver should I install. On this Web page, there are 2 drivers that refer to blutooth:

    (1) Intel Bluetooth driver for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) (ver. 17.0.1405.456 - 17.0.1405.0462).

    (2) Bluetooth (Broadcom, Realtek, Liteon) Driver for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) (ver. 6.5.1.5800).

Then I would ask which driver I'm supposed to install.

Or do I have to install both?

I noticed that on this web page, which are drivers for some components that my specific device is missing (like the dedicated AMD graphics card and the fingerprint reader), so I think some B50-80s could have a bluetooth intel while some other B50-80s might have a bluetooth broadcom/realtek/liteon.

    Thanks in advance :-)

I must say that I am a little disappointed that NO MEMBER of the lenovo support team tried to answer my question.

If the Lenovo site was clearer on the manufacturer of the components of Lenovo laptops, I wouldn't need to post my question...

However, since I'm no beginner total in pc world and since I found another user of B50-80, which was very nice, I managed to solve this problem.

If you have a Lenovo B50-80 and the desire to understand what bluetooth adapter you have, check this thread:

  • [s205] How to install Win7 x 64 from scratch on a new hard drive?

    Hello

I have a little problem to solve...

I own a s205. My hard drive died. I replaced it with a new one. After that, I tried to install Win7 x 64. When installing, it created 2 small partitions. It was strange to me, I saw him for the first time. Later, I read that it is because of the UEFI.

In any case, installed all good, but after installing the drivers, I have encountered some problems. Or net card worked. I started looking for information and I know that the problem is UEFI.

My question - can someone write a guide how to install Win7 x 64 on s205 in traditional mode, so everything should work as before? Unfortunately I didn't save the DVD or any other source of images of Lenovos.

    Kind regards

  • Problem installing software of Bluetooth Enhanced Data Rate II (v6.2.1.3100)

    Hello

Today, I have improved some Lenovo drivers, including the bios v1.20. When I was upgrading software Bluetooth Enhanced Data Rate II to the 6.2.1.3100, offered on the page version drivers for t400s, I got the following error, almost at the end (sorry, the OS is in Dutch): "there there was an error during the installation of the political party...» ». See below:

After that he has automatically restored the update, however probably not completely, because now when I reboot with active BT I get the following error, also in Dutch: "the program can't start because btwhidcs, DLL is missing from your computer. "You may be able to solve this problem in re - install the program.

My backup files, I've restored the previous version 5.2.1.2900 Setup file, but am also unable to re - install and make two mistakes now. I must have been able to install 5.2.1.2900 with the previous bios, because it was the version I checked before you run the 5.2.1.3100 update!

How can I solve this (apart from doing a full system restore). I would not be able to install the new driver properly? If this is not the case, how can I restore BTtray.exe then.

    Thank you, Jan

Looks like there's a problem install the Visual C++ 2005 redistributable. You can try to install these first manually by using the links below:

    x 86 version:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=200B2FD9-AE1A-4A14-984D-389C36F85647

    x 64 version:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=EB4EBE2D-33C0-4A47-9DD4-B9A6D7BD44DA

Even if you are using Win 7 x 64 (assuming you are using Win7), according to me, you need the x 86 redistributable og version for this software. If you already have an earlier version of the redistributable installed, you might as well try to uninstall first and then reinstall Microsoft Download or try to install the BT software after uninstalling. So, you can try to uninstall the BT software and start again.

If you already have version BT 6.2.1.1400 installed, you should ensure that you have a complete backup since this version had a serious bug when installing/uninstalling this version could wipe you HDD. I know that this is related to the 6.2.1.1400 only.

  • Impossible to install win7 on a Tecra A8 with ssd

    Hi all

I am trying to install win7 on my Tecra A8 PTA83E and I have the following problem
-If the drive is a normal hard drive, then installation is complete OK
-If I change the disc with an ocz vertex turbo SSD, then the installation will stop, at the time when
Win7 try to unpack the installation files in the disc with an error message "file not found" or similar. "

I've been reading about SSD in the web and the prime suspect is the IDE - SATA in Bios mode, they
all you suggest changing the IDE - SATA mode to AHCI mode. I look in the Bios in Toshiba Utilities
    and not found anything.

Anyone know how to change the mode in the Bios, if course is supported?
Also, someone installed win7 SSD in other models and have any suggestions?

    I'd appreciate any suggestions.

    Hello

As I know the BIOS Tecra does not support this option.
But it s not no need to change something in the BIOS because the Windows 7 contains the necessary SATA drivers.

However, I think you should check the SSD manufacturer support page that maybe a firmware must be updated

I also recommend the formatting of this SSD again maybe it helps

  • Impossible to install Win7 on ENVY 15 t-j000

    I recently bought a HP ENVY 15 t QUAD - E4T17AV

It comes with Win8 and I honestly can't stand it. Trying to reinstall with Win7, I am unable to find discs to install to. I searched the devmgr win8 to get information about the SATA controller and chipset. I downloaded the drivers and when you attempt to add during the Win7 it found the drivers that are compatible with my system, but when I try to install I get the error ' no new devices not could be found.

I enabled legacy startup options, disabled secure boot, changed the boot order, all that good stuff.

I tried to install SATA drives both mSATA connected, that only have one or the other and receive the same error each time. I used several different drivers of HP and Intel, and all receive the same error.

I read the other messages from people who say that they install Win7 on their 15 t, it must be possible.

    What Miss me?

    Thank you.

Had the same problem... figured it out... it was not a Sata Contorller driver problem at all.

    1. turn off Secure Boot, active herit.

    2. turn the USB 3.0 BIOS to act as AUTO setting so that the operating system facilities to qualify ports USB 2.0 compatible

3 HD partition scheme had to be reset... don't know what it was.  Hooked to my Mac and under parition, set it to 1 Partition and chose the MBR as the partition table layout scheme.

Hope this helps, but still the problem with the graphics drivers from Nvidia and Intel Chipset drivers

    Hello

I intend to buy Satellite A300-1MT (PSAGCE), and before I do I just check if there are still some problems with drivers for W7 for this model?
On other forums, I saw that there are some problems with drivers like music keys, webcam, touchpad and FN keys and so on...

So, can someone confirm me that all drivers are now available and everything works?

And also until I started installing drivers is there anything I need to know (wait used?) Or perhaps better: does anyone have a special notice?

Please, find the will to respond! Thank you very much!

I have the Satellite A300 running Win7 32 bit, but my model is PSAG8E.

If you visit the Toshiba support page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads you will see that your laptop model is supported Win7 and it shouldn't be problem to install all the necessary drivers and other stuff of Toshiba.

Here is the list how I did this exactly:

    -Win7
    -chipset driver
    -Storage Manager
    -display driver

    -configfree
    -VAP

    Added Vista tips:
Toshiba - help - working properly
    -Card reader - installed correctly
-Webcam driver for A500 - tested with Skype - works correctly.

Win7 works well and I am very satisfied. No problems with the feature keys FN.
