  I'm working on a horizontal presentation site that has anchors on each part. That the user scroll, he snaps to each anchor point. It works fine with just the mouse wheel, but I wish I had previous buttons and following which allow easy navigation between points. I know I can have buttons to jump to say on each article has > B > C and then C > B >, but it's a simple "prev" and "next" buttons that are pinned to the page as a whole. Then, as the page scrolls from left to right, the buttons remain in place. Is it possible to have them just go to previous and next in the line, rather than linking a button to anchor point A, B, C, etc.?

• When I open a Google search page and scroll down and click on the button "Next", things fail. With Safari, it's okay. Mac lion.

  A left click on the button 'Next', the screen go to pale (frosted, low text) and locking. But a right click on the button 'Next' and selecting 'Open in a new page' instead, works very well. You are using Safari normally on the same computer works fine.

• Validation problem Spry with button "submit"

  I'm new to Spry but I encounter a problem, do work at all.  I created a very simple form (table with text Spry field and submit button).  I have read many articles and visited several forums, but I can't seem to find the problem I encounter.  Basically, when I go to preview the page in a browser, the table with the field button and submit the spy text just fine, but when I hit the button send, I see the page refresh and the values that I had in the text box disappear, but nothing ever comes by saying "a value is required. which is what I'm looking for. This happens even if I have not all values in the text field.  Here are the images of what I describe and also the code.  I checked the 'Required' box is checked in the SpryTextField and the action of the submit button is selected for "Submit form."  My setup is Windows 7, DW6 & XAMPP.  You can provide any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Do yourself a big favor and don't waste time with Spry Validation.  Most modern browsers support HTML5 forms with the required attribute.

  If you need calm older browsers, use jQuery script validate.  It is lightweight and works when the HTML5 support is missing.  You can see an example below. If you press on submit with empty form fields, required fields in pop - up with messages.  View source in the browser to see the code.

• error message "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close" on click with the right button in my computer

  I had this problem for awhile now.  After I receive and send the error report my computer is blocked and I have to finish by WTM. I tried to start in safe mode and it was ok there and when I restarted in normal mode it was ok for the rest of the day, but when I put the computer today the problem reappeared. Dr. Watson is also sometimes with an error message.

  I am running XP with MS and updates.

  Would appreciate some advice.

  When the Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) is wrong (especially when right click), begin to suspect third-party add-ons explore extension.

  Those who would be the Explorer extensions that do not belong to Microsoft.  This means that extensions that you have added.  Solution Explorer extensions are generally well and installation of certain applications will install extensions from Explorer solutions for you, give you a choice and sometimes they can be added without your knowledge when you install the new software.

  After launching ShellExView, under Options, choose "Mark non-Microsoft Extensions" and extensions not Microsoft will be pink, clear, but on some systems which is a difficult color to see, so click on display, choose the columns and move the column Microsoft closer to the top, so you can see on your screen without having to scroll left and right.

  Click on the column header for Microsoft sort display (by clicking on the column of Microsoft) then all the non Microsoft extensions are on top and easy to see.

  Non-Microsoft extensions would be things you have added (non-Microsoft) and are what you should be suspect.

  You can also Google the name of a suspect add-on and see if there is any success on the mistakes of the DEP and what other people have done about it.
  You can Google something like:

  Explorer XP crashing (you must fill in the name of add your suspect on.)

  See what kind of search results hits you get and are looking for solutions or situations that sound like yours.

  I'm not a defender of trial and error, but I can't think of another way to do...

  Right click and disable the non Microsoft extensions one at a time (or maybe in groups of 3-5 at a time), keep a list, so you can enable them again later if you wish. The result of the change is immediate and no reboot is necessary.  Test your failure condition.  If the Explorer starts to behave, you will know that an extension of this group of 3-5 is the culprit in order to start to enable them one by one until the Explorer fails again.

  If you recognize all the extensions that have been added or recently downloaded, start with these first.

  Don't forget - disabling the extension does not uninstall the extension - it is just disabled so you can always turn it on again.  In this way, you can switch back and forth, enabled to be sure, you have the right extension under control.

  Disable them one at a time until your right click on do not generate an error, then restart and test again to make sure the changes 'stick '.  You have disabled the last extension would be suspicious.

  You can also just disable all non-Microsoft extensions, restart and allow them one at a time until you find the one that generates the condition.

  If you have a large number of extensions, you can disable them is small groups, 3-5 at a time instead of 1 at a time until your system starts to behave.  When it does not, you will know that the problem is one of the extensions of this small group and you can enable members of the Group at a time until the problem returns, then the problem is with the last extension that you enabled.

  The hope is that you will find an extension that caused the error, and then you can figure out what on this subject - either uninstall it or see if you can get an update of the author of the extension of their web page.

  I have not your problem, but I can when you toggle extensions, the extension is immediately disabled, so disable an extension does not seem to require a restart, but if you think that you have found the problem, I reboot and repeat the test in any case to be sure the problem disappeared.

  If you post your non-Microsoft extensions list, maybe someone will recognize it as a potential problem.

  If you find the offending extension that's the problem, please let us know what it is that I can add to my list.

• I have a viewer with a link button problem with vimeo

  I have a viewer with a vimeo link, so when the video plays the darkened background. The problem Im having is the button to launch the video is just Gray, I can't change it. I want her to be in the form of a graph not a thumbnail of the video if possible

  This isn't the Image that creates the gray line. Its the fill color of the relaxation.

• Problems with Pictues as buttons

  Hi all

  I am very new to catalyst and flash in general so please excuse me if I don't clear enough but here nothing happens. From a background psd file in Photoshop layers, I create a web site. Now I import that into CF and it looks great, I transform several layers of buttons and create for buttons rollover effects now come the interesting part, that these layers are images that are angled to rotate CCW by 25%. They are installed in a sort of photo album layout. the problem I encounter is that since they are so close with each other buttons not overlap the actual pictures, but the buttons as you can see from the photo I uploaded. If the bearing still appeared on a single picture/button while the mouse is in fact rather than another. Any way to make the image of the same button as the image or am I going about this all wrong. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  If I understand you correctly, you made the rotation of your Photoshop document, correct? I think that it is perhaps the source of your problem.

  I have attached two sample files. RollOverDemo1.fxp displays two buttons with the overlapping bounding boxes. But the rotation is applied to the catalyst. The rectangles were NOT shot in Photoshop. The affected areas are properly respected. In RollOverDemo2.fxp, I turned the rectangles in Photoshop first, until I made the button components. This version shows the problem you describe.

  So try to unrotating elements in Photoshop and do in Flash Catalyst.

• Problem with Web site button

  I just started using flash, but I'm getting a little better. I bought a model by the monster and have slowly picked up on flash. Here's my problem and forgive if I use incorrect terminology or seem ignorant...
  
  I have a page on my site that has 4 buttons on each side... video clip a button looks like a bar with a little arrow at the end clip. I'm sure you know what I mean. When you play with the mouse on the page that we meant to obviously go through his actions and alert user there is a link. If I put my code on the clip, you must move the mouse over the arrow to display the link. If I put my code on the layer button, it causes all 8 of the boxes have the same action/link and if I change one that changes everything.

  I think the answer to your question is to duplicate the button in your library for each instance that you will place on the stage. Give each one a different name. What you use, with all eight buttons to behave about the same thing, is that you placed a button on the stage eight times so they all have the same behavior. Create 8 individual buttons with unique names and place them on the stage. There is a way around this with actionscript, but since you're a beginner, I think the above solution is simple, down and dirty. I hope this helps.

• Navigation of the menu button?

  Created my first BR project in CS5.1 again without any problem I thought. I've done some context menus for several chronologies everything works well in this area, but the issue I had with the final (BD - RE on my player because I can't get a glimpse of the pop ups in yet) is the navigation with the context menu.

  Normally on a menu, you can select "left, right, up, down", but on these pop-ups, I made pressure on the buttons on the remote control do not match not with where the selection happens. I push and he jumps on that follows down and come down to the third, I press 'right' and nothing, I need to go "upwards" to go to the next line of buttons, etc.

  Is the issue that I have 10 buttons on my pop up? Is there a limit to how many buttons are there? I did everything correctly in the project; 10 keys are divided into three lines and I attribute them from top to bottom 1,2,3,4,5 etc...

  Check the delivery button; even with respect to the normal menus.

  Assignment of numbers of buttons does not guarantee that the routing will make sense.

  If this is not the sort, post a screenshot of the visualization of menu with the button routing enabled.

• Moving the tabs with the left button of the mouse no longer works! Help please!

  Well, since today, when I try to move/rearrange my tabs on the tab bar, the 'move' tab to copy! So instead of moving, I add another tab with the same Web page. Also I can't add tab for the bookmarks bar or by dragging with the left button of the mouse on it.

  I even tried restarting my computer, my firefox nightly and even rebooted in safe mode. Oh and I have the latest update. If someone has an idea?

I unhid it by logging into my account via iTunes (who need to publicize the idea of hiding on mine, since the store gave NO clue about that) and downloaded, so that can be resolved.   There may be a program to interfere with Parental controls so that we can try a few things to see if we can determine the application or program that is causing problems.

  First of all, we run System File Checker to see if you have a corrupt file system.

  • Click Start
  • Click on all programs
  • Click Accessories, and then right-click on the command prompt.
  • Select the Security tab and choose "Run as Administrator"
  • Click on command prompt
  • Type SFC/scannow.

  It will scan and repair any damaged operating system files.

  To determine if there is a program because of a conflict, we recommend that you perform a "clean boot" of the computer. A clean boot is designed to disable programs and services in the background as much as possible. • The Quiz, the Quiz on revision and the button "next".

  Sought and did not quite find all solutions to a topical issue that I found just that... troubleshooting classes something not at all related.

  In any case, here's what I have:

  • Quiz slides do not contain the button 'next' or 'back '.  Only the 'clear' and 'submit' buttons are activated
  • The quiz requires a minimum pass mark.  A failure, the "quiz of recovery" button, button "review quiz" and the button "continue" are displayed
  • By clicking on the 'resume quiz' button works as expected with zero problems
  • By clicking on the "review quiz" button works as expected with the learner to the first slide of quiz

  Here's the question.  With the 'next' button disabled on the slide of questionnaire, the learner is not able to advance after the first slide of quiz, so to get stuck and have to go out the window.  Not sure if I'm missing something.  I did a lot of quizzes with a required pass mark and have not had this problem in the past.  Is it possible to have the 'next' button disabled on the slide of questionnaire but enabled for the revision of the quiz slide?

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Go to the display of the slide master and find the master slide for each particular type of quiz slide.  Select the button Delete in the master slide and you should find that the toolbar alignment options become active, allowing you to bring to the top of the stacking order.

  When you return to the display of the slide, normal, is the clear button now on top?
