Problem of control file

My oracle 11 g on RED hat 5. I changed the values of the parameter control_files = ('/ disk1/.../control1.ctl ',' / disk3/.../control2.ctl') in the init file $ORACLE_SID.ora.
When I start my database and the modified instance values isn't that rather the old value appears.

Hello

As previously posted, the PFILE (initSID.ora) file has been modified, but the database can use the SPFILE.

So you can do the following:

startup nomount
show parameter pfile

If you receive a response like this:

SQL> show parameter pfile

NAME                                 TYPE        VALUE
------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------
spfile                               string      C:\APP\PRODUCT\11.2.0\DBHOME_1
                                                 \DATABASE\SPFILEORION.ORA

Then your database, use a SPFILE.

In this case, you can run this:

create pfile from spfile;

Then your SPFILE is recorded in the init.ora.

You change initSID.ora and save.

Subsequently, you can run this:

shutdown immediate
startup nomount pfile='/init.ora'
create spfile from pfile;
shutdown immediate
startup

Hope this helps.

    Hello;

    That's what I'd do:

    Primary backup (change in your directory as needed)

    RMAN RUN {
    allocate channel d1 type disk;
    backup format '/u01/backups/PRIMARY/df_t%t_s%s_p%p' database;
    sql 'alter system archive log current';
    backup format '/u01/backups/PRIMARY/al_t%t_s%s_p%p' archivelog all;
    backup current controlfile for standby format '/u01/backups/PRIMARY/sb_t%t_s%s_p%p';
    release channel d1;
    }

    Move the backup and duplicate like this:

    rman target sys/password@PRIMARY auxiliary /

    RMAN> run {
    allocate channel C1 device type disk;
    allocate auxiliary channel C2 device type disk;
    duplicate target database for standby nofilenamecheck;
    }

    Hi Neeraj,

    It happens because you have not selected the area of mapping as STAGUING running.

    Open your interface, click each column of your data target store, make sure that "run them One" is marked on the "transit Zone".

    Then run your interface.

    A load of table multiple when one later IN THE TABLE

  • Placing the control in a custom control file

    Hi all

    I'm new to LabView and have a simple question. I customize an example of LV for my purpose. There is a custom control used in the example file. I'm setting up a new (combobox) control and want to place this control in the file of custom control so that I can move on to various sub - vi for various purposes (e.g. initialization).

    Chart attached shows the ComboBox (Model DUT) on a front panel and custom control file (TestStand UI Data.ctl). My questions are the following:

    1. What are these symbols with the pink arrow (that is the button stop/restart, etc...) in the TestStand UI Data.ctl file? (see attached diagram). They are symbol of data type of references?

    2. How can I place my combobox was forced TO model in the file of custom control so that I can pass through the different slot control file - vi? I tried to do a right-click on the control and use create-> constant or reference, but they don't it has not changed the pink arrow symbol element.

    I hope someone can help solve my problems. Thanks in advance.

    You do want to overwrite the "custom controls" that are part of LabVIEW.  However, you can create your own "custom" by a fall control, say, TestStand UI Data.ctl on your diagram, right click and choose Open Type Def (who opens the definition OR one you do want not change), make some additions or changes, then do a file/save under and save it in your project file with a custom name, that you make up.

    These pink arrow symbols are references - you can find them by looking in the Refnum palette.  I'm not sure what they are references to, however.

    As a suggestion, rather than send us just a picture with circled items, send the actual control so that we can watch and maybe tell you more details.

  • I have problem rotation tiff file in the Windows Photo Viewer.

    The last time when you use Windows XP, it is ok, but after upgrading to Win7 have problem rotation of files tiff using standard Windows photo viewer or Windows Live Photo Gallery. This happens to the files without administrator rights. Understand that the last time WinXP also had this problem but it had been fixed. Any resolution for Windows 7?

    If I understand correctly, you cannot rotate the tiff file in the Windows Photo Viewer. I suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps to check if this may help.

    1. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?
    2 is the issue limited to the tiff files?
    3. you receive an error message on the computer?

    Photo Viewer Windows can only view .jpg and .jpeg, .tif and .tiff, .png, .gif, .bmp and DIBs, .wdp file types.
    For more information, see this link:
    Understand the types of image files
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/understanding-picture-file-types

    Method 1:
    You can take all the permissions in the folder of tiff files and check.
    Here are the steps to change the ownership and permissions of files and folders:

    a. right click on the file or folder, click Propertiesand then click the Security tab.

    b. click Advancedand then click the owner tab.

    c. click change, and then do one of the following:

    · To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click other users and groups , in area enter the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group, and then click OK.

    · To change the owner to a user or group that appears in the area of change of ownership to , click the new owner.

    d. If you want to take ownership of the contents of the folder, select the checkbox replace the owner of sub containers and objects .

    e. click OKand then click Yes when you receive the following message is displayed:

    You are not allowed to read the contents of directory folder name. Do you want to replace the the directory permissions with permissions granting you full control?

    All permissions will be replaced if you click Yes.

    Note folder_name is the name of the folder you want to take charge.

    f. click OKand then reapply the permissions and security settings that you want for the folder and its contents.

    Method 2:
    You can check the link to rotate a picture using Windows Photo Viewer

    If the problem is on the Windows Live Photo Gallery you can post the question on the link provided below for assistance

    ORA-01501: CREATE DATABASE failed

    ORA-00200: control file could not be created

    ORA-00202: control file: ' / home/core/Databases/ControlFile/ctl2.dat'

    ORA-27040: create file error, cannot create the file

    Linux-x86_64 error: 2: no such file or directory

    Please check if the directories are present or not.

    CD/home/core/databases / ControlFile.

    If the directories are present, check for the permissions on the mountpoint.

    LS - ltr/home/core/Databases

    LS - ltr/home/core/Databases/ControlFile

    The permissions should be user and group name through which you create the controlfile.

    I hope that this information is sufficient. If the problem solved with this brand then kindly as correct answer later for others

  • How can I fix the problem of 'linked file' when opening file on other computers?

    How can I fix the problem of 'linked file' when opening file on other computers?

    The links must travel with the illustrator file. In other words, you can't send someone your page layout and not send them all the assets placed in the layout. However, you can embed links, but their incorporation will make your file much more available.

    Use the links Panel to incorporate images. Click on the small icon in the upper right corner of the control panel link drop-down list. I've included a screenshot.

    Experts,

    Recently, I have been unable to connect to the console em12c and after reviewing the State of who, I got to know that my instance of database crashed.

    Oracle Management Server does not work for the following reason:

    Unable to connect to the repository database. SGD will be automatically restarted once he identifies database and the listener are on the rise.

    I connected and checked the alert log which was below error e/s on the controlfile. I'm afraid to say that my control files are multiplexed not and I don't have a valid backup of controlfile.

    Please help me what should be the solution to fix this error. Is this just a mistake of e/s on the controlfile, or do I have a disk failure?

    Database Version: 11.2.0.3 (64-bit)

    Thank you

    Fran,

    Syslog does not display the IO error.

    I followed the steps below to solve the problem.

    1] stop the database

    [2] restore control01.dbf to the backup location.

    [3] mount the database
    [4] recover database until cancel

    [5] Alter database open resetlogs.

    Also, takes a full cold of RMAN backup of the database, the multiplex control files and recovery logs.
