  did you create the repository Migration of your database to Oracle (Tools-> Migration-> repository management)?

  The SS2K5ALLPLATFORM package is usually created when you add the migration of the Oracle database repository and it contains the function StageCapture.

  So please make sure that you have created a repository of migration in an Oracle database and associate it with the first step of your migration.

  In the portal, we have an APPv1 application, which contains several communities, pages, portlets, groups, etc.
  
  Now, I'll improve this APPv1 to APPv2, which will be added a few new features and made some changes.
  
  One requirement is that we keep APPv1 during the development of APPv2, so the first thing I have to do is to create a new directory objects Admin "APPv2" that contains exactly the same content as APPv1 and change all the names of the content (portlets, communities, etc.) within APPv2,
  
  at first, I used the copy to APPv1 operation and copy the text to the new APPv2, but then I found a portlet Web service cannot be changed, which means that even the new portlet in APPv2 refers always to webservice of APPv1,.
  
  So I maybe I can use Migration Import/Export to export the APPv1 first and then change it to APPv2 in anthor instance ALI and import APPv2 back, but I found that the APPv1 will be replaced by the new APPv2 :-(
  
  I was wondering is there another approach to do? Or something I did wrong?

  The replacement occurs because the UUID are the same in both portals (look at your table PTMIGRATION)... all the objects in the portal has a unique ID, and so when you import, if you are importing from 'the same' unique set, you're going to replace anything that has the same ID.

• InDesign CS5.5 does not start after migration of iMac, MacBook Pro

  Bought the new MacBook Pro. As part of the initial commissioning process, I migrated the files of my iMac (late 2009) (OS X 10.7.5) for MacBook Pro (iOS Cougar 10.8.2), as well as applications including my CS5.5 Design Standard. Startup MacBook Pro process completed without problem.

  Now, on the MacBook Pro, mixed programs CS5.5 bag. Illustrator CS5.1 worm. 39 and the version of PhotoShop CS5.1 12.1 open and work properly. The inDesign CS5.5 worm. 7.5.3.333 crashes at launch (several times), with iOS displays a window "InDesign quit unexpectedly.

  Suggestions?

  UPDATE: read the solution found by another entry on InDesign 5.5 don't not launches the new MacBook Pro, I tried to open the Adobe Extension Manager and disable the extension to SING, but the extensions Manager crashed the launch.

• I have wifi connection problems to my G5 iMac.

  I recently got a G5 iMac. I put it on the floor about 10-15 feet of my modem/router. It's in another room, so I'm not able to use an Etherent cable. It has an Airport card, but I was unable to find my wifi. Do I need an Airport base station and if so this model/type?

  Provide some additional details may be relevant to the problem.  There are several models of iMac G5.  Here is a list of all iMac models.  What model do you have?

  Also, what version of Mac OS X turns?  You can select about this Mac from the Apple menu to get information about your system.

  You do not need an Apple Airport access point.  But your router's wireless settings a difference.  For example, the last iMac G5 model (from 2005) has only 802.11b and g wireless, not of 802.11n (unless you use a third-party add-on).  Make sure your wireless router is not set to 802.11n only.

  Like test, place the iMac that is close enough to your router so that you can connect using an Ethernet cable.  Do you have an Internet connection?  If so, select software update from the Apple menu to confirm that you are running the latest version of the system possible for your version of Mac OS X.  If there is an update, try the connection Wireless again after the update.

• Help! Problem of freeze/reboot IMac, Apple has been without help

  Hi all. I have a persistant problem with my iMac (chart below). Presented it Apple Store twice now, they have not solved the problem. Basically: my computer, with no visible trend, will freeze while I use it and trigger a reboot. Sometimes once a day, sometimes several times a day. Various open applications, does not make a difference. Apple Store/Genius Bar people have told me they think it's a software problem, but the system log confuses me and makes me doubt this conclusion: I was meticulously noting the time of freeze, at +/-5 seconds, and there is NOTHING in the paper system at this time. No kernel panic, no newspaper of the accident, no notice of ANY running process. I'll post the last example below I list of specifications. Anyone thought EVERYTHING might happen? I am running:

  If it's not her, I do a clean install of Mac OS X and test this. If it still restarts then it is not a software problem.

• How to migrate the imac 2007 to the new iMac using the TM backup drive?

  My mid 2007 iMac does start more (gray screen of death) so I have a new iMac on command.

  I expect to use the Migration Wizard when the new machine arrives in a week or two from here.  I'll need to do it from my Time Machine backup disk however.

  The backup TM drive is a TB drive WD MyBook Studio 2 2 (physical hard drives 2 x 1 TB) in a RAID 1 array.  This is the Firewire 800 and it looks like 2 USB as well.

  The new iMac looks like it's fall in love 2 and USB 3.

  I had no wifi problems between my Imac and HP Color LaserJet M177fw MFP Pro to scan until recently - it can be related to operating system update to OSX 10.11.4 which was done yesterday however.

  I can scan is no longer docyuments from the top of the charger page - scan starts but just hangs and then I can not re - activate the scan function until I have to force it to quit.

  Can you suggest appropriate corrective measures to try please?

  I just bought a new iMac and used the Migration Assistant to transfer all my programs from my old computer.

  When I try to run my copy of InDesign CS4, I get the error message:

  License for this product has stopped working

  Error 150:30

  Because the new iMacs don't have disk drives, I can't reinstall using my original DVD discs.

  Adobe online support team have said that they are unable to help.

  The approval of repair does not work in Yosemite

  Does anyone have any suggestions?

  And set the permissions on the appropriate files. The rest is between you and your Mac - what about Adobe are, that CS4 is not officially compatible with Yoesemite.

• Problem reinstalling OS on Imac 10.6.8

  Hi, I just got re [placed my hard drive failure. Before that, I have a clean copy of 10.6.8 and all data on an external drive that was taken using Time Machine. I deleted the new hard drive is visible and functional on my iMac. Basically, I couldn't reload 10.6.8 from the external drive. As an alternative to the reloading from the hard drive, I thought that it would be viable to use my installation disc to boot from, then does this and loaded 10.6.1 on the new hard drive. I chose then software upgrades, and updates 7 downloaded system update to apply, I knew would give me until 10.6.8. To complete the installation of the software updates, it requires the system to be restarted. I chose this and toolbars will disappear from the display, leaving the background screen displayed while he goes through the process of restarting. A few hours later, he still has the same screen, so has not completed the process of restarting. If I have this ends with power off, OSX is still in 10.6.1. Any help or advice will be appreciated.
