  Hi all, I hope you can help me somehow.

  Recently, I decided to go on my RAM upgrade before I headed offshore at the University then everything would be smoother. I had originally the 2x512mb RAM sticks if wanted to go for the best, what I discovered this laptop would be 2 x 2 GB sticks.

  I recently bought these sticks of 2 x 2 GB RAM PC World, where they also checked to see if the supported laptop 4 GB, which I was told that this was the case.

  However, when I got home I installed two strips of new RAM but my laptop will not initialize properly.
  Everything looks like it was started and the lights turn on but the screen stays black and nothing happens.

  I don't understand what is happening, the RAM sticks are not defective, because they both work individually.

  Edit: Ive tried swapping them round in all possible combinations and they don't always work together. So currently I use key 1 to 2 GB of RAM and my old 512 MB one with her.

  I put t know what s wrong with both modules of memory.
  It seems that the two modules may not run correctly together. It is possible, I had some similar problems in the past 8 years since I m a laptop owner.

  My only recommendation is to replace the memory modules and try another.

  Is that laptop supports 4 GB of RAM and it should be possible to upgrade.

  I ve had some problems with original module Toshiba PA3069U-M 256 MB of RAM for my Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600.

  History: (# = number of RAM)

  #1 was delivered to the original box from Toshiba and works in the slot A and B without any problem, but was damaged after only 2 weeks (!) --> Distributor sent me a new: #4

  #2 has been delieverd by the same distributor (same tine as #1), but only in the bag to shield static orginal. The laptop shows that the RAM is incompatible in the slot A and B--> I return

  #3 was delivered by another distributor, a few days after #1 was also damaged in the original Toshiba box. It still works fine in both slots.

  #4 was delivered yesterday, but only in the original static shield bag. The laptop shows that RAM is not compatible in both slots.

  The RAM in the box and the RAM that in static shield bag are two RAM Toshiba original from the manufacturing, seems to be quite the same. But still those in the area of work others are incompatible even after a BIOS update.

  Someone had the sampe problem or can help me?

  According to the description of your problem, I guess one of the memory modules is not recognized by the system and the specified result 192 MB of Ram only tell me that your laptop has shared graphics memory card.

  Satellite Pro A100 is fairly new to laptop and, in my opinion, you should contact service. The guarantee must be valid and if everything is defective it will be replaced free of charge.

  If possible, tell us what Satellite Pro, you have exactly. This info you can find on the lower side of your laptop.

  I'm having a time heckuva upgrading RAM on this machine. To start, I tried an upgrade of RAM several months to a year. I went to the product page HP customer care to find out what kind of RAM I needed, and how much has been. It does not appear that the RAM on the product page info is correct, because I ordered what I thought, it was EXACTLY what I need and when it arrived and I took the machine part to install the RAM, I discovered that there was NO WAY that I bought was going to adapt. Product page indicates the installed a PC3-10600 DDR3-1333 RAM machine. What I bought was the Office of PC3-10600 DDR3 - 1333 mhz 240 pin DIMM RAM. It seems the rub is Office RAM laptop RAM vs. HP's product page does not specify the Touchsmart 310 uses laptop RAM, or at least what I think is laptop RAM. The installed RAM is small (SODIMM?) where the RAM I bought to upgrade is great "stick" RAM. The RAM that is currently installed in the machine has a sticker that reads "1RX8 PC3 - 10600S - 9 - 10 - B1. I just need to know without a doubt what to buy to upgrade RAM, because the machines performance is poor, return of points of sale by correspondence are a chore, and I don't necessarily like tearing apart my computer mainly for no reason. To add insult to injury, after I realized the mailorder RAM did not adapt, I handed the computer together without writing the specifications for the RAM installed to try to resolve the dilemma, so I had to tear the machine today (and put back together) just to get the RAM specifications. • Upgrade of RAM MacPro (end 2013)

  I have a MacPro renovated (end of 2013), and I'll update the RAM.  If I 2x16GB of RAM, does it matter which of the four slots I put them in?  And, is there an advantage to get 4x8Go instead of 2x16GB?  My thought is that if I get two sticks of 16 GB, I can always add two more down the road if I think that I need.

  To date, 16GB DIMMS for these Macs is registered DIMM (they have an extra buffer registry on their products so that they will not overload the memory Bus).

  DIMM not Exchange and "friendly game with others. If you choose ANY DIMMs recorded, you will be forced to remove all DIMMS not saved to get everything working properly.

  The United States, OWC/MacSales has a program where they will allow you to sell a limited number of your old DIMMS for a little money when you buy them new.

  The traditional way of installing DIMMs has been to put the largest DIMMS in slots more small number. This Mac Pro (end of 2013 dark cylinder) requires no pairs, gets a slight edge of pairs in adjacent locations (i.e., 1 and 2 or 3 & 4), but the differential gap is very, very small and should not influence what you buy.

  I recently acquired a HP205 G4 laptop with 4 GB of RAM installed in one of the two slots.  It has a free slot and a max RAM 8 GB capacity.  As I have a 4 GB stick lying around, I thought I would be a free upgrade of RAM and so I placed in unoccupied housing and booted up.

  My problem is that neither information system or UEFI sees the newly installed stick and States I have still 4 GB of RAM, however, Speccy see the two 4 GB sticks and indicates he has 8 GB of RAM.  It may or may not be relevant but Speccy also States that the system memory is single channel.

  The sticks are Samsung and the two DDR3.  They, however, have different bandwidth (PC3-10700 & PC3-12800) and voltage (1.35 & 1.5).  Now as I know the speed will be simply fixed by the slower stick and so both should work.  This leaves the tension, but if it was a problem, I don't expect Speccy to see the extra stick (1.5V) at all.

  So I wonder, is tension the key culprit?  Will be 1,5 volt RAM spare part - I have also a 2 GB stick - I simply does not work on this motherboard?  Is there something I missed or can I do to get the system to see what sees Speccy and thus use 8GBs?

  Do not use this old memory in this new laptop. If you want to run 8 gigs, get a second identical DDR3L-1600 module. Even if she would go with the DDR3-1066 RAM at this speed, do you really think 8 gigs clocked at 1066 is slightly better than running at 1600 mhz 4 gigs? I say no.   Depending on your system, the installed memory could be memory low voltage. I'm not able to say which system the E15 is, if you could be a little more specific. Once I have this information I can tell you whether or not the memory is low voltage or not.

  Here I am with a weird RAM problem. Quite simply, this device of i3 AIO has a pair of 8 GB... 2 x 4 GB, but only a crack can work. The second I install the second 4 GB of ram, the computer begins to act strangely and unbootable...   4 GB of RAM is not much. The numbers are perfectly logical and normal. There is a reason why it is called 'RAM Preview' If you want long previews, get more of it, or reduce the resolution of preview.

• Problem upgrading RAM on old Satellite 4600

  Hi guys

  I wonder if anyone can help me? I have an old Satellite 4600 (not sure what series that is!). It has 128 MB of RAM. I added an another 128 MB of RAM, but it records still only 128 meg. I spent the round modules, always only 128 MEG. I tried even to each module right in the slot A, and then just to location B. Whenever he recorded 128 Meg, so I know that the two slots are working and two modules work, but it will not record together as 256!

  I checked in the BIOS and only 128 in there too. Help, please
