problem of sound quality (audio surge)

I use Windows Vista. Toshiba Satellite (laptop) L350D
When I listen to audio from my media library, if I use the windows media center or windows media player, I have sound problems. Looks like the music is booming.
I copied all my files and tried it on a friends pc, the wave is not there.

Also...

When I burn a disc from my laptop, this problem of the sound quality is not transferred to disk.

This laptop has done because it was new, I bought it in January this year.

I had to remove WMP and WMC and reload, but I don't think it's a problem software, currently, this problem is with both programs.

Help, please!

  • Issue of satellite A300 - 15G Conexant - improved sound quality Audio

    Hello

After that I got my HP Vista to Windows XP, I came across a very strange thing. There is no problem with drivers because they could be easily found on the TOSHIBA web site. After you have installed all the drivers, I mentioned that the overall sound quality is worse.

When I started studying the issue, I came across an anomaly. When you open a file in Winamp and, without closing it, open a movie in Windows Media or any other video player, the sound improves a lot.

The same phenomenon occurs with the modem. When you start the connection, or to be more precise, when the President of the modem lights... Here, the sound is still improving. I tried many things... like downloading the drivers of different sites and different versions and re - install.

But nothing helped. There is no problems with Vista so I guess, it's a software problem. I googled a bit and found some more people who have the same thing.

I hope someone can help me because of the use of the Harman\Kardon pregnant if they do not produce sound?...

    Hi guys

I found this Conexant audio driver.

I installed it and it works fine for my laptop!

You can try to remove all the current drivers first and then installing those latest. I suggest that also consult you the site Web of Conexant for latest drivers, as is the real manufacturer of the sound chip.

If this does not help, you can also try to disable all audio enhancements, see:

  • Problems of sound quality with my Sansa Clip and Rhapsody subscription titles

I'm at my wits end here. This last Christmas, I bought a black 4 GB Sansa Clip for me. About two weeks after I bought it, I got a low-memory error to create a database. I've reformatted the drive, transferred songs and everything worked fine... for a week. Then I got the same error message that he died completely. As in it would not turn on at all, even connected to my PC.

I brought instead buy one leave and received a replacement. Now it will not play long pieces of subscription Rhapsody without a slight distortion starting about 13-14 minutes in and continuing to the end of the track.

I did not have this problem with the first Clip.

I don't have this problem with securities that I torn and transferred.

I don't have this problem with my c250.

I have this problem with my 4 GB Clip son cash. However in addition to the simple to burst I get with my Clip, the music also sounds distorted, with large legs on her.

I already have the routine of songs and dances for Rhapsody. I have also updated the firmware of these two Clips Sansa to v02.01.32a, tried to transfer using two different USB cables and several USB ports on my computer. The only thing I have not done is reformat the thing. After having to transfer 600 + tracks 3 times in two months, I am rather hesitant in doing so.

Anyone, please, help me solve this problem?

Ah, we'll add some gloss of your clusters.

The your Clip file allocation table a wee 4 KB clusters.  Since you have a 4 GB device, this FAT is big enough.

Decoding of the Rhapsody tracks requires some supercomputers, being secure to 160 Kbps wma files.  The Clip is responsible for finding the next block of data, but it must focus on this huge FAT.

    The solution is simple!

Turn on your trusty Clip.  Go to settings > Format > Yes.  This reformatted the device with 32 KB clusters, optimized for the Sansa.

Please note that this will delete all existing music to your Sansa, and you will need to reload.

On the other side of the coin, you will hear now own sounding music!

If you format from Windows, it has the bad habit of formatting with teeny 4 KB clusters - and stuttering that results will make you crazy.  If you format Windows, ALWAYS follow-up with a format on the device via the parameters.

  • The weird sound quality with backlight Fuze and mp3 VBR

    Hello world

I got my Sansa Fuze (firmware 01.01.11F) 2 weeks and I have noticed a weird problem:

When I'm playing some VBR mp3 files, the duration is not displayed correctly. Files of start playing very well, but when the backlight of the screen gets off (settings I tried different time, show all the same problem), the sound quality deteriorates strongly. These are mp3 files that I ripped directly from audio CD, samples are available on request.

Has anyone else had this problem?

    Kind regards

    Soenke

The question is under development.  Lower rate VBR can trigger the processor at a slower pace, the origin of the problem.  If the backlight is on, there is more work for her, and the rate increases.  The noise disappears.

The decline in the rate increases the battery time.  This problem will be resolved in a future firmware version.

  • How can I improve the sound quality when the Sync property is set to 'stream '.

I recently had a problem with the text in synchronization with sound (Narrator). For example, when a user has typed a button a Narrator reads the text on the page and want words to point out that the Narrator read the words. The problem that I ran was that she place well on the desktop, but the timing was off on some mobile devices. So I put the 'Stream' sync and it worked fine. But I ran into another problem; the sound quality is down, sounding muffled.

How can I make the sound better when the Sync property is set to 'Stream '?

You can control streaming sound quality in your publish settings that can replace the sound quality settings that you can set by clicking on properties of the sound of the library (click right/properties).

  • Windows 7 - audio system sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Soundcard Question. Issue of the audio recording. Poor sound quality from the speakers.

I connect on - the work of sound system very well.  Media player works fine.  The next time I log on - no sound system.  Everything is plugged, convenience store finds no problems, Media player goes through all the steps and looks that don't worry, still no sound.  I have download a fix for the VIA recommended by Dell Driver.  I did, and it still has the same problem.  I can close, reconnect, and then the sound will work.  Sometimes I have to close and log on twice in a row so he can launch.

Can someone point me in the right direction to solve this problem?  I am working on a Dell Inspiron 546 AMD Athlon II x 2 215 2.70 GHz and 64-bit with 400 GB of RAM.  I installed Windows 7 but when I dug deeper into the service code for this machine which found at some point in time he had installed Vista.  This could be the same Vista to Windows 7 problem audio, everyone seems to have?  I bought this Staples announced new with Windows 7 as operating system.

I did research on all forums and responses and am unable to check if I have a "sound card".  I'm not used with the terminology so even if I follow the Microsoft instructions to find the right place to check and see, I do not understand what I see when I'm there.  It is said: ATI high definition Audio Device and VIA High Definition Audio.  Is this to say that I have a sound card or I should get it a?  If I buy a sound card will it fix my audio problem?

Even though I had my audio problem fixed, I was disappointed by the sound quality of the speakers on this new system up to date.  My speakers on my old computer (which lasted from Windows 98) were by far superior in sound quality.  I don't understand why they sound so crappy and barely louder, and when you show the to they have a rattle for them.  I tried plugging my old speakers on my new computer, but nothing happens.  My new speakers have a Plug and a USB port.  I don't know what is... why goal can not use my 'old'?

Finally, I want to record my vinyl on discs and need a great sound system.  Any advice?

I removed all the ATI Audio as suggested.  The result in the short term is that the audio quality is improved.  I no longer hear the "crackling" when the sound is turned on.  I'll answer more if the issue of audio (works) continues to be a problem because the fix.  If you don't hear from me, then please consider the problem solved and my thanks to you.

  • quality audio jack headphone carbon x 1 sounds terrible

I love everything about my carbon x 1 with the exception of the audio output jack for headphones/microphone. The sound that comes out when I plug it into any standard 1/8 in (3.5 mm) stereo plug sounds terrible (headphones, speakers, etc.). Any particular reason why this unit or anyone else has a similar problem? This Jack is even supposed to use for standard headphones or what? Do I need headphones with a built-in mic for best sound quality? Thank you!

    Hi, bayern2668

You should not need a headset for this port works correctly. The reason for the symbol for headphones and a microphone must demonstrate that he supports both. On older machines, there were two separate ports for these devices, but they have since then been combined into one.

I recommend first of all by ensuring that the BIOS and audio drivers are up to date for your computer. The latest BIOS for your machine came out a week ago and can be found here. The audio driver is not as new, but is still relevant and can be found here.

Best of luck and let me know how it goes

  • Problems with the sound quality poor or distorted, watching Youtube videos

    Hello

For these last days, I had a very annoying problem with playback of youtube videos since getting the latest update to Adobe Flash Player. The sound quality while watching videos is just terrible. Depending on whether it's a song with a lot of bass, singing or just commented video distortion is different. It's a craking, static-y sound, like a badly tuned radio in some cases. A few videos, in particular with certain frequencies of sound as I have said, can be a highly distorted.

I've been quite well, with audio all around perfect before you accept the update. I didn't place Adobe Flash as the cause for a while, but after eliminting causes so many others, Adobe Flash, that's what I feel, that's the problem. All other audio sources on my computer are not yet perfectly (iTunes, MP3, MP4, etc.), it's just youtube.  I also tried other sites such as Vimeo videos I thought running with flash as well and really did not notice the distortion, but also I can't find a perfect video comparison, so I really can't be sure and do not want to exclude them. YouTube is the only one I can say absolutely not is affected badly. I checked my firefox Plugins and the Shockwave Flash plugin is indeed turned on. It happens also, regardless if I have a video to youtube with Firefox or IE. And one final note, I'm the administrator of this computer and the only user.

    I run Windows 7 64 bit

I use Firefox as my main web browser.

I have the latest update of Adobe Flash (11.2.202.228).

    I use a laptop Toshiba M645-S4070.

    Intel i5 processor

    4 GB of ram

Realtek High Definition (I think that it is the sound card)

I searched through discussions both here, on assistance from microsoft, and through google search in general try to resolve this and nothing has worked.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, with and without restarting the computer complete between the facilities/unistalations, update my sound card drivers, check and disable my firewall during installation, installation offline, have some audio enhancement of course checked was leaving (right-click on the youtube video > settings).

I'm really at a loss, and it can be painful to use youtube now as things. Also, if I need to post more information my computer please tell, since I'm not very knowlagable how to get specifications more than what I posted.

    Hope someone can help, thanks.

I had the same bug with its bad, especially on scraps of bass-heavy sounds, but I found a job nearby

    Click Start-> Control Panel-> Flash Player-> advanced

I deleted all of the "data and Site settings.

Sound is back to normal now.

    I hope that helps!

  • Pavilion x 2 detachable 10 ": the quality of sound on audio jack output

The sound quality on the audio 1/8 "jack to an external system that is, use a mp3 player is terrible. Low frequencies are cruelly and it is not unlike an old transistor radio. While perhaps marginally acceptable with a helmet style earplugs, playing through an external system is not.

There seems to be not having only one choice of audio driver for this system, and it is updated by the press on the system. Is there another available pilot or something else I could try to improve the quality at least at the level of a mediocre mp3 player? Or is there something faulty with the material?

The main use for this system has been like an audio player. Its size USB port size, complete for mini-USB and flash drive is seemingly perfect. I do not anticipate the lack of sound quality, so disappointing. I understand this laptop is not audio high-end, but my sound quality of the phone going circles around it, that something seems not quite. I am playing not even .mp3, .wav files and uses 2 different players with the same results.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

You can mark this message as 'Solution' which makes it more important in research and Internet feeds, so more people will see if the suggestion to use the usb external sound card has been beneficial. I am pleased to have been of assistance.

To be honest, I bought for this calculated because of my good experience of the past, but will be more careful in the future.

Now I have to life with her in the past 800US.
The rest is OK - for now.

    > 1) issues with Bluetooth - machine could not find other devices and there are communication problems;

What Satellite C870-xxx you have exactly?
From my own experience, some models support BT and some don t so probably your device does support BT or you have done something wrong then that configuration of BT.

(> 2) I am very, very disappointed by the quality of the sound. The speakers are very poor. If I had known I wouldn't n buy it! Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to check it out and assumed Toshiba will keep minimum standards in this area. In the past (a few years ago)

My own different models of knowledge supports different hardware specifications. You can buy models of laptops with Harman-Kardon speakers that offer the best sound quality. This device seems to support standard speakers.
So it s always a question of value for money and in my opinion it is not too bad.
