  Probably nothing, it's probably a fluke. Try resetting the SMC and the PRAM by iMac Intel SCM and reset the PRAM. If this does not work, try a USB keyboard to test, if it works then your original keyboard has failed and must be replaced.

  I started having problems last award of the locations in my photos. When I enter a location in the "Get Info" box of the card will just white (pale yellow).   This can happen for two reasons:

  • If the location cannot be found in the database.
  • Or if the location server is not reachable.

  Test, if you assign locations all by entering a name of places for a test photo, that certainly exists in the database, like «The White House, Washington»

  

  If that is unsuccessful, check, if you encounter network problems, or if the antivirus software or firewall is intercepting network connection from k to the Apple servers.

  Did you do a clean install of the Sierra, or an update?  I had this same problem after having just the update.  I did a clean install and still had the same problem.  BTW, I've never had that with El Capitan.

  In any case, I read a suggestion to start in safe mode (restart or put in operation and hold down the SHIFT key until you Apple one).  This is supposed to complete the configuration of the elements which may not initially realized.  When you are in safe mode, simply restart or power down/up and he will start in normal mode.  So far so good.

  If the machine is running in safe with command prompt Mode, but no Mode without fail, my first thought would be that we conduct issues shell or a problem with Solution Explorer.

  On the other hand, if we had these problems, I expect not boot in any mode for 5 minutes.

  That being said, I'm going to recommend something that I hardly ever recommend.  Safe mode with command prompt, run a SFC/scannow.
