• Problems by applying Gradients

  I got to a point to remove all my hair, because I can't figure out what I did to make this work already (but it worked and I can't get it working again).
  
  I have a simple line of text that I created in Illustrator and imported into Flash as a set of transparent traces (because the font I want to use is not available in Flash). In any case, I am applying a linear gradient (rotated 90 degrees) to create a look that is reflected on the entire line of text, but if to dissociate all the individual letters and then regroup the entire line, I can't apply the gradient (or any color besides) to the group itself. I have to go inside the group object and assign it here. The problem is that the gradient I do apply applies separately to each individual letter and I don't want that. I try to apply a gradient across the entire line of text as a single object so that I can use the gradient transform tool to rotate the gradient 90 degrees in one step. Instead, I'll have to rotate the gradient transform for each letter.
  
  I don't know what I did to make it work before, but I can't understand not just how to do it again. I could have sworn that I've been group objects and apply the gradient, but now it does nothing.
  
  Could someone please help and tell me what I do wrong?

  Thanks a lot for your answer. You were right about the police not installed in my system folder... duh. She was in my home directory "program files/common files/adobe/fonts". So I installed on my system. Now it is available in Flash, but I can't understand how to "lock the filling. Could you please tell me how to proceed? So I think that the gradient will extend on all letters to be applied to each individual.

• Problems by applying a master

  I have a gap of 2 pages for a Master. Each master page has a background image, an image at the top of the page and a page at the bottom of the page number box. When I try to apply the master to just the first page of a spread, for some reason, it adds the background of the second page of the master image to the second page of the spread. This background image covers any other master I try to apply to the second page. The strange thing is that it only shows the background image, not the image at the top or bottom page number. Anyone happen to know why it does this and how I can stop doing?

  Make sure that no part of the image exceeds the limits of page (same deplacer.001 pt, if necessary).

  I have a model called index.dwt created for my site, here are the top template code.  I created a new file called index.html and tried to apply the index.dwt, but somehow it old code not applied in the model more.  I deleted all the files that have this old code below, so I don't know how to apply the old model code which, from what I can tell, does not exist in a file most anywhere in the site.  It almost seems like it is cached because I did a preview of the site in chrome but I restarted my desktop computer and it always fills the old code.

  ID, CS4, I created two masters for a book project - one for the first page of each chapter, the other for all other pages in the chapter. So far, so good: I placed a MS Word doc in the file and I see all six pages of Chapter 1. Now, I want to start Chapter 2 on page 7. So, I applied my first page master on page 7. I see my 'chapter Nr' upstairs, lower than "Title" and the page number in bottom. Now, I want to replace "Chapter Nr" with the actual number and the "title" with the title of the chapter, then flow the text into the page in the remaining space. All items are in dotted line boxes, but when I click on one of them, nothing happens. I was expecting points must be replaced by a solid line box, and I'd be able to change the text in each box and then place text in the bottom text box.

  I guess I'm doing something wrong here, but I can't understand what it is. Any suggestions?

  Have you tried Cmd (Ctrl) + Shift click on the frames of masters to replace them? Are they locked up?

  I have a basic version of Windows 10 LTSB installed on my x 1 yoga with an OLED display.

  I've updated the drivers via system update and Device Manager is not to say that all the drivers are missing. Whenever I put my laptop on 100% brightness, the display turns off.

  Anyone else have happen to them?

  I see what happened. With the help of this new regime I solve the reference to the libMqtt.so library in the Mqtt project at the time where I wrap the bar file. There are now 2 executable files in the manifest of BAR, and I had managed to incorrectly identify the entry point of the application as the executable libMqtt.so rather than the TestMqtt executable.

  The attached patch (diff patch2.zip) file provides additional changes to the file bar - descriptor.xml to correct this problem. Apply to the file bar - descriptor.xml who has had my original patch applied.

  I tested on a Windows device (to work) and it launches the app TestMqtt correctly, but it should work unchanged on a Mac since it is purely a change of file bar - descriptor.xml.

  I would like to know how you get on with on a Mac, and if it's sunny I'll push the update on GitHub.

• Printer wireless problem

  Wireless printer worked still today unable to print.  Says I'm not connected.  When I check the wireless button on the printer, it says I'M connected.  I disconnected the router, the printer and restarted everything.  Always says I'm offline.  Help!
