    Hello

    It is a question of pure database. Not much relationship to the EBS.

    Anyway, as stated in the warning, you must add a temporary file in the tablespace TEMP3 or drop the tablespace if you do not need.

    Can you post the full alerts log part, which takes 10 to 15 minutes?

  • Keyboard will not work to start the Recovery Console repair function

    I would like to use the repair feature in Windows XP Professional Recovery Console when starting Onboard or USB CD-ROM drive.  My keyboard works very well to enable F12 and select boot device.  Windows Setup starts and then loads bunch of pilots - looking... but then my keyboard won't work for select 'R' to start the Recovery Console repair.  All this started because I uninstalled a Lexmark printer and it seems that the driver Lexmark LXBTtime.dll lack now but still wants Windows to start.   So now Config\System will not load.  I saw some threads in this forum recommend that my wireless keyboard does not work - so I borrowed a USB wired keyboard - but still the same problem.  Cannot select 'R' - the keyboard light turns off and of course not recognised by Windows Setup.  Any ideas or suggestions?  In addition to the purchase of a MAC (it was my suggestion of neighbors :-)   Thanks for the review!

    Hello

    In addition to the suggestion of Daavee I would also ask you try another disk of Windows XP installation and also you can try with a keyboard five General PIN and check.

    I hope this helps.

  • PC will not boot or start the recovery console

    Windows XP 2004

    AMD Athlon XP 3000 +.

    AVG 8.0

    My friend tried to jailbreak his ipod. Now his PC will not boot the OS. It will go to the screen with the options to choose each time you start upward into the safe, normally last good known etc.. Choose one of these options results when control of the PC for the IDE drives and soon after an accident to return to the screen that says "a problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer." I try to start the recovery console, but then I get a blue screen that gives the same spiel, then this Stop error message:

    STOP: 0X0000007B (0XF79BA524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000).

    In addition, I changed the boot order in BIOS and tried to use the recovery through an ISO boot console. He ends up crashing this first screen appeared. Even if the BONE is fatal, these guys really want to the GET data out of their hard drive.

    Or, if you just want to back up your data and do a clean install:

    1 remove the drive and put it in a box of USB drive or use a USB adapter. Attach it to a computer that is running a working XP/Vista/Windows7 installation. Use the work of Windows Explorer to copy the data to the hard drive of the system to the rescue and burn data on cd or dvd, or copy it to an external hard drive. I prefer not to do it if I know the drive is infected because he has a chance to infect your host system. In these cases, I use #2 below.

    2. you can start the computer target with a Bart PE (XP only) or Linux Livecd such as Knoppix or Ubuntu and retrieve the data in this way. This has the additional advantage to tell you if the problems you are experiencing are hardware or software related because if the computer behaves perfectly in Linux, you know that Windows (software) is the culprit. Conversely, if the computer behaves badly under Linux, you will know that there is a hardware problem. This is general information on the use of Knoppix for the recovery of data when you do not have Windows:

    You will need a computer with two cd records, one of which is an engraver of CD/DVD OR a USB thumb drive with enough capacity to contain your data OR an external USB hard drive. Download Knoppix .iso image file and create your bootable CD *. If you do this in a previous (XP or Vista) operating system, you will need the third burning like Nero, Roxio or freeImgBurn software (Windows 7 can burn .isos natively). Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Then boot with the CD that you created and the Windows files will be visible under Linux. If you want to burn CD/DVD, there will be a Linux burning program to use.

    * If your computer has only an optical drive and you want to use this drive to burn data or need to test drive, you can create a USB bootable Linux instead of a bootable CD. This site will show you how to do it-http://www.pendrivelinux.com

    When I have a parameter not valid, the I often resolve when the database does not open is to simply create a pfile the spfile file:

    sqlplus

    Connect / as sysdba

    create pfile='/home/oracle/pfile.txt 'to spfile='/u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0.2/dbs/spfileorcl.ora ';

    Then use a text editor to fix the value of the parameter. When done, save the changes. Then create spfile from pfile this and you should be able to start the instance.

    create spfile='/u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0.2/dbs/spfileorcl.ora 'to pfile='/home/oracle/pfile.txt ';

    startup

  • Problem: Access to the database.

    Hello.

    I have a problem with my NI Multisim 12 (Student Edition). It installs correctly and correct registry also, but when I run the program it displays these messages

    "Problem: access to the database."

    The data are not available. Functions using the database will be unavailable. »

    And similarly for the database and database user.

    In the end, it shows this message:

    "Multisim has detected that the main database is not on the current user. Reinstall the program from the original media. »

    I have the original of 2012 Labview and Multisim 11 (from a myDaq) media.
    After that, I can place any component because the program cannot access data bases. I can open previous designs, but it is not properly simulate.

    I am the only user of the computer, and I am the administrator.
    I have a 64-bit Win7 with Core 2Duo 3 GHz.
    I recently installed Labview 2012, which includes this software, so I uninstalled previous Multisim.

    On the same computer without any problem, I used Mutisim 11. I tried to reinstall Mutisim 11, Mutisim 12, delete windows registry, remove files after installation, giving permission for all files and nothing works. Whenever I have reinstall Multisim it displays these messages.

    Please, help me!
    Any help, or anyone with this problem or similar, let me know also.

    Thank you!!!

    Once again, many thanks. I solved the problem just now. I need to change the windows registry, following the instructions in the link. Thank you

    How to start the database using CRS to start the database instance

    As a solution: remove the write permission on the/etc/oratab user database to prevent update to arrive.

    There is no harmful effects known to CRS / RDBMS operation if this workaround solution is used. This has been discussed in Bug 13028802.

  • Cannot start the Recovery Console Windows from the installation CD

    On my MacBook I ve running in VMware Fusion 3.0.1 a Virtual Machine with Win XP Pro.

    When I reboot Win XP Pro and start again from the Windows XP Pro installation CD, I can see the "Welcome" with the menu screen

    -To install Win XP now, press ENTER

    -To repair an installation of Windows XP using the Recovery Console, press r.

    -To quit Setup without installing Windows XP, press F3.

    When I click ENTER or R, I see the message

    -The installation program did not find any hard drives installed in your computer. Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3.

    Today the question? In the 40 GB of the virtual machine, I have two free partitions of 10 GB and 20 GB Win XP Pro execution. Why see Setup cannot process this partition?

    I ve also installed a second Virtual Machine, but the installation of VMware Fusion not show the "Welcome" screen, but it installs both Win XP Pro.

    The installation of the recovery in the virtual race Machine Win XP Pro Console is successful, but when I start the recovery in Start Menu Console, just the screen blue 0x7B (inaccessible boot device).

    What must I do, to start the Recovery Console in VMware Fusion? Or another question: when merging does support the Windows Recovery Console?

    Wow, nothing indicates that you use a German version of Fusion that your English is excellent.  Anyway as VMware headquarters is in the United States, like me, I always provide information in English and information-specific guidelines in the VMware Fusion help files come from the English version as well as any Documentation from VMware that I reference.  I say this next part as a general and not directed comment towards you, as you have noted your using the German version... Any person requesting help must always at least include technical information referencing manufacture, make, model, version, and language other then English, material goods and software involved in issues.  We'll find a good reference for the type of information that must always be included in HOWTO: ask (and answer) Questions.

    As a much get into the BIOS if you use the Fusion 3, you don't need to enter the BIOS to change the boot device as this can be done in the settings now however to enter the BIOS for other things that need/want of press you F2 directly after starting the Virtual Machine and after having clicked on the screen but the av VM boot so fast that it's easily missed.  You can add the following settings to the file of configuration .vmx of the Virtual Machine to slow down the startup so that force once in the BIOS.

    bios.bootDelay = "3000"
    bios.forceSetupOnce = "TRUE"

    The bios.bootDelay is in milliseconds and the bios.forceSetupOnce Boolean value is then set to FALSE, automatically.  Each of these parameters are independent of each other.

    You can find the following useful notes for this and or other uses...

    ====================

    Notes: keyboard

    Different setting function, you may need to adjust various preferences keyboard to work with the function keys and or use the Fn key.

    OS X > you may need to press the Fn + F6 etc. and this can be changed in system preferences > keyboard & mouse > keyboard > use all F1, F2, etc...

    Merger 1 > VMware Fusion (menu) > Preferences... > keyboard and mouse > activate Mac OS shortcuts keyboard

    Fusion of the 2 and 3 > VMware Fusion (menu) > Preferences... > keyboard & mouse > Mac OS shortcuts > activate Mac OS keyboard shortcuts

    ====================

    Notes: Starting the virtual machine from CD/DVD or ISO Image

    If the Virtual Machine is not initiating the CD/DVD or ISO Image, and then select the CD-ROM in the Boot Menu.

    Engage the Boot Menu and select the CD-ROM drive...

    The bottom of the virtual machine just above the status bar after the Virtual Machine is started, it has...

    "Press F2 to enter SETUP, F12 for the start-up network, ESC for Boot Menu"

    On the status bar, it features...

    'To direct entry to this virtual machine, click inside the window.'

    BIOS flashing by is very fast so you need to work quickly however give it a try and if the Start Menu cannot be higher then the configuration of the Virtual Machine file .vmx must be edited to slow the STATION and or change the boot order.

    OK, click the big Play button on the screen of the virtual machine, and then quickly mouse click in the Virtual Machine screen and then press the ESC key to bring up the Start Menu and select the CD-ROM drive. If it boots the CD very well and if the Boot Menu does not appear, because he goes just to quick access and then try again or...

    Watch the Boot Delay section in the current user's Guide to VMware Fusion and the section of the virtual machine files of A Beginner's Guide to VMware Fusion on when the configuration of the Virtual Machine's .vmx file is and add the following lines to the file. TextEdit can be used to edit the .vmx file.

    To give more time to indulge, the Start Menu Add the following...

    bios.bootDelay = "3000".

    For, once, force the VM in the BIOS to change the Boot order in the BIOS if the CD-ROM is first add the following...

    bios.forceSetupOnce = 'TRUE '.

    ====================

    Notes: By modifying the .vmx file

    For Fusion 2.x and 3.x ctrl-click the target entry of Virtual Machine on the windows of the library of the Virtual Machine and choose Show in Finder and then Ctrl-click on the packaging of the Virtual Machine and select to display the contents of the package.

    By default in the normal Fusion 1.x virtual Fusion function file are created in the folder "~/Documents/Virtual Machines" and according to host operating system version and or Fusion worm. There may be a .localized after Virtual Machines although by default, this extension is not visible in the Finder.

    ~ Is your Home Directory.

    The files that make up the virtual machine are placed in a folder (aka Bundle and or packing) bearing the extension '.vmwarevm' which, by default, this extension is not visible in the Finder.

    Example: "~/Documents/Virtual XP.vmwarevm Machines/Windows" in the Finder would just resemble an icon named "Windows XP."

    To view the contents of the entire file "Windows XP.vmwarevm" ctrl-click (or right-click) on the "Windows XP" icon and select Show the contents of the package.

    To change the configuration file of .vmx ctrl-click (or right-click) on the "Windows XP.vmx" file and select open with > choose another... then in Application choose TextEdit.

    Note: If you use Firefox do not copy and paste the parameters if TextEdit unless you copy only the exact line and nothing else in the case, use an editor such as TextWrangler.

    ====================

    Notes: Creating an ISO Image of the CD/DVD drive

    When you use utility disk in order to have a bootable ISO Image, you must select Master CD/DVD without encryption in which case by default, it will have an extension .cdr file and in version 1.1 of the merger and later does not need to be changed in .iso, although one can if one chooses to. A default .dmg image is compressed and is not bootable, as an uncompressed .dmg will start if changed in .iso and of course the source CD/DVD should be bootable in the first place.

    To create an ISO Image using disk utility...

    1 insert the CD or DVD disc into the optical drive of your computer.

    2. open disk utility (/ Applications/Utilities/Disk utility).

    3. Select the CD or DVD drive in the list of disks and volumes.

    4. Choose file > new > "Disk Image from (name of the disc)."

    5. type a name for the disk image.

    6. choose "DVD/CD master" from the Image Format pop-up menu.

    7 choose "none" from the encryption pop-up menu.

    8. click on save.

    P.S. If you do not know the name of your database (ORACLE_SID) that you can look in the/etc/oratab file. E. g,

    ORCL:/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0:N

    The first column indicates your ORACLE_SID. If you want to start your database whenever your server starts that you can change the N in the last column of Y.
