Problem updating Firmware of the Module e/s

All,

I'm trying to update the firmware of the i/o Modules of 1.3.1p to 1.4.1i.  I downloaded the firmware and when I activate it I choose to ignore the compatibility tests.  The module IO then resets and goes through a process of restarting.  After a little while the State is ready but the firmware running is always 1.3.1p.  I also tried by choosing to place it in the start menu to the top only and then reset the module e/s, but the results are the same.  This happens on two modules e/s.  Interface cards and the MMIC both updated without problem, but I'm stuck at IO modules.  Anyone encountered this?  Does anyone have ideas, what may be the problem?

Thank you

Ken

The IO modules get updated at the same time as the fabric of interconnection when they reload and upgrade.  Upgrade one restart of the IF that and the i/o module should be at the same time.  Note that in the activation page you should see in the meantime "rebooting" next to the modules of e/s for this fabric before restarting the FI.

  • ThinkPad E220 "Critical battery problem" even AFTER updating firmware of the battery

    Hey,.

I am owner of a Thinkpad E220 (5380-CTO) and the "Lenovo Thinkpad Toolbox" gives me daily alerts that I have a "critical battery problem". The link takes me to a page to download and update the firmware of the battery. "Updates to the Firmware of battery for hand and slice batteries (external) - ThinkPad Edge E220s, E420s Edge, X 1" http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?DocID=HT062049&AID=10429688&PID=3719336&CJURL=http%3A%2F...

I went through all the steps to update the firmware numberous times, including making the recalibration of the battery and I STILL get the daily 'critical battery error message '. Please help, the daily scans eat up RAM and it's annoying that I have to cancel every day.

The battery, from what I can tell, works otherwise.

    Thank you!

    Hi all

Just to give you an update. Our side engineering has tested and managed to reproduce the problem in their labs. They can confirm that by uninstalling the box to Lenovo tools and installation of the currently supported ' Lenovo Solution Center ' as a brand already proposed forum solved the problem.

The "Lenovo Solution Center" can be downloaded from the link below.

  • Problem updating firmware TS-L632H on Satellite P200D

    Help, please.

Having problems burning CDs / DVDs. thought the TO01 to TO02 firmware update would solve the problem, but then the TO02 driver could not be installed.

I tried installing the driver but the software indicates the latest version of the software is already installed.

    Driver date: 21/06/2006
    Driver version: 6.0.6001.18000

    Hello

I checked the driver Toshiba section info page more (he s right) and are found some details about this firmware update.
Changes have been made to correct the following:
Impossible to burn songs on iTunes to some CD media. iTunes error "the attempt to burn a disc fialied. An unknown error occurred (2131)"is displayed

If the update of the firmware doesn't solve all problems with burning CD/DVDs!

I assume you have some CD and DVD burning issues because the media are not entirely compatible.
What you could do is to check various CDs/DVDs from different manufacturers.

A single note; If I m not wrong not the user manual should provide some details on CD and DVD compatible and supported.

Hello Derek Cunningham, I am an engineer of the HP technical support. I am taking the floor for me and not for HP, but I believe that I can help you.

Well, it took some searching.  The latest version of firmware that I could find was little out August 2, 2003 (version 1.040.2) part No. C4168-67907 listed as "HILL of DIMM KIT - ROCK".   That said, as of March 31, 2009, the product is no longer a support and spare parts may no longer be available.  I gathered this information by your request directly - however, don't believe not that the firmware update will solve the problem of 'page spew' reported.  I went through the list of firmware for different DIMM firmware versions fix and see nothing corresponding to your symptomatic behavior.

If your workflow printing is to point and print (customers who print via a print server) Please ensure that the server and clients pilots match.  You can always remove the printer connection client and restore to ensure that binary correspondents sells.  Driver version is important, because the old specific drivers are not supported or even stable with current operating systems.  I suggest you switch for the driver of Microsoft OS Inbox for testing.

Suggestions were made to try to PCL 5 or PS, I think that the essential thing here is to make sure you are using the latest driver for your product and the OS.

  • Update firmware of the iDRAC for M600 with image

I need to update the firmware of the card server iDRAC to 1.65 and the means to do it now are updates that require you to run on the host computer, operating system must be windows or Linux. I have two servers that have no operating system on them so I can't update this way and it's silly for me to install or run an operating system on each of these just to install an update of firmware for the DRAC. I have also four other machines where the windows exe is not update the map because while it starts the update that he do not say the map isn't here even if before it was said to go ahead with the update, he identified the card and its firmware version.

I'm referring to this thread already http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/blades/f/4436/t/19472174.aspx and the person who asked where they could get the image never replied and I could really use the image to solve my problems.

    Thank you for your help.

    Thank you

There is a way you can get the image of windows exe file. Follow step to get the file from the image below and try to update through GUI

    1. Rename the Windows .exe to .zip file
    2. Extract the .zip file to a folder
    3. Download the image file the payload of the extracted file folder iDRAC (filename: firmimg.imc)

    Hello ianeme,

I was watching the forums and came across your question. Ask yourself if you have solved your problem of port when you use plugin manager of OneCommand to vCenter Server? I have seen that HP has two downloads for the fw updates. For now, the last FW update to CN1000E is 4.0.493.0 March 12, 2012. Call the Emulex support if you experience problems when you try to update the fw with the Emulex OneCommand Manager application or the plug-in. But just make sure you are tested and approved HP FW by downloading the files from their site.

    Thank you

  • Problems updating Firmware 7 IDRAC

Hi, I had problems with my controller IDRAC PowerEdge T320. It seems to be a known issue, introduced with Firmware version 1.50.50, which is delivered with my machine. Basically, the device signals that all user sessions are used. (RAC0218). I am running Windows 2008 Server R2. To resolve this problem, I find the IDRAC firmware update version for my system. 1.57.57 downloaded the windows EXE file and it ran. The release notes say that a reboot is not necessary. At the end of installation, I got a message in a dialog box. "" Device iDRAC7, Application: iDRAC7 could not access Virtual USB Device "and then the following message in the upgrade of the firmware Installer information window" "" This message can be ignored"with many things on the R2 IPMI driver. My problem is that the Dell OpenManage Server Administrator noted the old firmware version number. I reset the iDRAC from the C: prompt to soft help from "racadm racreset" who have reported success. It made no difference. I emptied my cache of browsers as well. Any ideas how can I know if my firmware has actually been upgraded?

When I googled the error message my own post came first on the list!  So I thought that I had better do a update.  After finally move to try to solve this problem (again), I opened a case of pension with DELL.

There is now another more recent version if the firmware of the iDRAC. 1.66.65

I downloaded and installed, but it failed with the same error on "Failed device to access virtual USB".

The nice guy of support counted Dell that it is due to an incompatible BIOS version.  I currently have 2.0.22 and the latest version is the 2.3.3.  Then I spoke for her.

I have successfully installed the BIOS update, requiring a reboot.  I then had another go to the update of the firmware to iDRAC to 1.66.65 and this time it worked WHOO HOO!

Now wait us and see if real problems connection problems are solved.

    I'm quietly confident.

    Hope this helps someone else

    David

  • Unable to update firmware for the PERC 5 controller / i on PE1950

We have 6 PE1950 server with SAS PERC 5 / i integrated RAID controllers. Dell OpenManage complains about being obsolete PERC firmware. 2 servers I currently have running, firmware 5.2.1 - 0062 and 5.1.1 - 0040. I downloaded the latest version of 5.2.2 - 0072. I tried the update by the Windows package and who did not, and he complain about the OS being too recent. A server is Windows Server 2008 R2 and the other Windows Server R2 2012. So, I created a BACK USB key with Dell hard drive files and run update.bat. Who failed on both servers with the following errors:

    Firmware doesn't have flash. Stop!

Failed to update Firmware for controller 0

The process of updating of the firmware of the controller does not have!

Both servers had the exact same mistakes as described above. Ideas on how I can get the firmware update successfully? I checked the package I downloaded is for the PERC 5 / I integrated.

  • can I update firmware of the motherboard for windows xp on windows 7?

The customer from Ubisoft support is telling me to update my firmware from the motherboard. I have a Media Center m7250n and upgraded to windows 7. Can I still download the XP - only firmware and not experience adverse effects, or would it be dangerous or worthless?

I can't ask the customer on this subject directly because the PC warranty expired years ago.

mastersteviekun wrote: thank you very much on this accuracy, I can't reinstall XP, even if I had to.

In addition, even though I know that this is unrelated to the issue I have with my computer, customer support also wants update me the sound card driver, and it is also an XP only install; Is this the case even where I have to go back to XP?

Hello mastersteviekun, you can possibly get the driver for your sound card from the web site of the manufacturer.

Your audio is an audio device from Realtek on board.

Here is the link for Realtek, where the Windows 7 drivers for the Realtek audio device.

You will need to get a HD Audio Codecs, check the agreement and you have three options to download site.

You should know that sometimes Realtek downloads can be a little slow.

I'm not completely sure, these drivers will work, but they tend to do.

  • Cannot change settings or update firmware on the WRT110

    Hello

I am trying to solve problems with a WRT110 for my mother. A brother of mine was originally set but it was not available. I had a lot of strange problems, so I tried generic fix #1: restart.

So I pressed the "Reset" button on the back of the router. Nothing seemed to happen. So I pressed it again. Once again nothing. So I unplugged the power and plugged again. I understand now that the "Reset" button actually redefines the default factory setting, but I didn't know that at the time.

To my surprise, all the parameters have been missed. So, I went to put back them, but could not. Whenever I click on save settings it says post.cgi not found (specifically: http://192.168.1.1/post.cgi). Not found?

So I decided to try the firmware update. firmware_upgrade.cgi not found.

As far as I know, all .cgi files are now completely absent. All .htm files always seem to be there. But without the .cgi, I can't do ANYTHING to the router. It's really frustrating.

I also tried holding the reset for 30 seconds button and wait 2 + minutes for a factory default reset. I have tried power cycling it again. Still lacks the .cgi.

I was not able to find this problem in Google. I hope someone has a bright idea.

    Thank you

    -Pete

    Well, I feel stupid

Apparently Google Chrome doesn't work with of the .cgi. I tried Internet Explorer and it worked. Lost so much time because of this.

I hope that this thread will help someone else having the same problem.
