  I have a serious problem with Flex dates and need a solution as soon as possible. I have a Flex 2 front end that uses remote java objects to talk to the database. I have a Flex 2 DateFields form. The dates of these are stored in the datebase. However I need the dates to be stored exactly as users them selects regardless of the locale.
  
  What is happening at the moment is we are developing in Ireland and in selecting a date, filling an actionscript VO which is in turn transformed into a java VO (on a server in the United States) and when the date is stored in the database is one day before the date that we have selected. It seems that the flash player uses the locale with a time of midnight (GMT) users. When place the conversion to the EAST, it stores the date (GMT - 5), which causes the being Eve.
  
  I changed my flex code to set the date at 12: 00 time even if he converts and subtracts 5 hours it will always be the same date. But this does not work, it seems to work sometimes and not others and is very inconsistent. I can't understand why it works sometimes.

  I'm not very familiar with your specific question, but I wonder if a combination of store dates as the first milliseconds since midnight January 1, 1970, universal time, stored as a string and then when presenting the data are aware, locale would solve the problem.

• I have a problem with the function of brush in Photoshop CC

  In recent weeks, I noticed decreases performance in Photoshop CC when you use the brush on the layer masks and adjustment.  It takes an extremely long time for changes to take place.  Please forgive my lack of terminology appropriate in trying to describe my problem, but, for example, I just used my brush on a layer mask.  After you move the brush on the parties of the photo I want to change, a circle of rotation appears as adjustment.  This last time, after having a past more than half of a picture, at 70% opacity, it took more than 4 minutes for the course ends.  All other functions in Photoshop, including all my plug-ins, seem to function normally.  My computer seems to work fine in all other respects, both in Photoshop when using any other program or software.  The problem seems to be limited exclusively to the brush functions in Photoshop.  I noticed it first on a 4 weeks ago, and it gets progressively worse.  I have an Asus gaming laptop computer with processor Quad Core i7, 24G of RAM.  I'm not super computer, savvy, then keep as simple as possible answers would be much appreciated!  Anyone have any ideas or have experienced this same problem?

  Greetings.

  • Do you use a Wacom?
  • Make sure that your PS is up-to-date.
  • Preferences open PS - - Performance - uncheck the box use a graphics card and then restart PS and see if this is the case for you.
  • Also try to reset tools

  

  • Try resetting the PS preferences
    • To restore preferences quickly by using a keyboard shortcut: press and hold Alt + Ctrl + Shift (Windows) or Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. New preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

  I turned off all virtual machines and rebooted the host with no resolution.

  I looked on the VMware download site and I see no download driver for the HP Server or controller of the group.

  Beyond the update of the firmware, I would check that you have the battery (BBWC) module installed on your controller and cache in write on. The BBWC module is an option and made a significant difference in performance.

• Problem with the pen tools &amp; brush

  I went to this throughout the day. I have reset the preferences and reinstalled but it did not help.

  I select the pen tool or the brush, set the size of the brush let 16pt, choose a default width profile and define the brush as a base. As I draw the line/mark the anchor settings are reset to 1 pt, normal width profile and sometimes oval 2pt. I can again select the line and apply the settings, and then I click on board graphic settings remain and if I try to draw a new line settings are reset again.

  I use cs5 on mac.

  Any ideas?

• Problem with the levels in PSE7 adjustment layer

  I have a problem with the levels adjustment layer in PSE 7.0. I made this photo that shows exactly as I want it in PSD format, but when I save it in JPG format all adjustment layers are lost. I tried to get the same result by using simple Enhance > > adjustments > > levels, but I cannot get the same result with the same settings as with the adjustment layer.

  How can I solve this?

  I saw in a tutorial that might help add a new layer above the layer of setting and then merge visible layers, but it does not work either.

  I hope someone can help me if I can complete the picture.

  It seems that the problem is that your image size is big enough in comparison to the size of your available screen and you make your settings at roughly 18% view.

  Photoshop elements uses interpolation to show the images on the screen, so you can't really see exactly the result unless you view an image at 100% display (actual pixels)

  If you try to do the steps from the beginning with your image at 100% view, does make a difference?

  (Double-click on the Zoom tool in the Toolbox for 100% view (actual pixels))

• Problems with the Brush tool in Animate - chips of leaves or steps of the finished line.

  Noticed this problem with the Brush tool in Adobe animate - seems to leave a chip or stage of the race over each time that a line is drawn.

  Older versions of flash were perfect, no problems with the brush not tool at least.

  If you want to convert Word files to PDF with the Adobe Reader application then it is possible with the service Pack of PDF. Try to use the service on the web: https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf

  Also try to use a different file type.

  It comes to my setup with the layer I'm working.

  1 got to Image menu / apply/image layer = bass tones layer (below) / mixture = Add / scale = 2 / and then select reverse. It looks like a high pass filter, but it is not.

  2 Exchange mode layer to linear light that restores the image to its natural state

  When I try to use the Healing Brush tool on my bed to make changes to a face I use the alt key pressed to select the sample point, photoshop seems to block the point that I select.  And he is on the screen in what looks like a high-pass filter, and then when I try to move the brush again point to perform a healing event fullscreen drag with the brush movement.  I don't then deselect the option once I use the ALT key. I've experimented a bit and found that if I hold down the ALT key it removes the high pass, but as soon as I release the ALT key, it goes back in a high pass.   I also tried clicking on this layer and by choosing another layer, the high-pass goes and I can use the mouse to select other items.  But as soon as I go back to the layer that I want to work with the screen comes back to what looks like a high-pass filter and you guessed it, the mouse drags the whole screen.

  Thinking that this might be a problem with Windows, I turned off my pc and rebooted and then restart photoshop and I went back to the same process and have experienced the same problem.  So I'm making this post looking for a solution.

  In the menu of the window display the Panel Source of duplication.

  Is the clipping option at the bottom off? This would cause all of the image to display in the overlay. -What is the opacity of the overlay and blending Mode different 100% and Normal?

  These options are not used with the Spot Healing Brush as it makes its sampling automatically.

  The last several times I tried to use the removal tool the place, he did not "heal" the area that I asked for it to heal.  He heals an area adjacent to the area I want to heal.

• Local adjustment brush cursors have disappeared

  I did a reinstall, repair actually LR 2.6 blue screen errors (which not turned out be associated LR) and now my local adjustment brush cursors are gone! I have the old style, one slider with the other controls being + & - buttons. I have no idea what else is gone, but I want my back sliders.
