Problems of classic blackBerry on 5 GHz network Wifi

Hello

just found following problem using this combination:

WiFi router: apple Airport extreme

Passport of BB or configured classic dual-band wifi to connect to the router.

Result: 1-2 MB max (theory, it should achieve easy > 100 MB to download)

More 2, 4 GHz band, assigning the results are normal

The two confirm on my classic and the Passport.  It looks like so many combination of Airport extreme and BB 10 device

Can someone else test this with a device aiport or another router?

Just restarted airport and have interesting results: now to get the normal result showing 100 MB down.
Its now using 100 channels, previously channel 36.

Sorry guys seems not peripheral airport or channel selection/use more related associates.

  • BlackBerry App investigating the classic BlackBerry, T-Mobile and the WiFi calling app

I am looking for on this forum after being (possibly) achieved through BlackBerry World (located here, so you can make reference to what I'm going to talk: https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/35524900 ) this app is marked as 'BlackBerry Lmtd' being the developer, that's why it is implicit that BlackBerry updates to this app and is responsible for its support. I am at this point, after trying (for weeks) to find how this whole process of WiFi calling went down, I was told by T-Mobile at the level executive response that BlackBerry was next to insider support. In its current form the above application currently supports only prior 2 BB10 peripheral T-Mobile, the Q10 and Z10. Despite the classic hit the shelves of T-Mobile, despite the fact that T-Mobile as well as the TWO classic BlackBerry supports WiFi called, it seems to come down to this app gets an update. I write here wondering if there is information about the status of this application as well as the support with regard to devices. Will be it be updated to include the classic? Is this a known issue? Is this really T-Mobile app? Just anything, any kind of transparency or tiny tidbit of information be always so would appreciate! If anyone has information or can better direct me on where to take my survey, I am more than happy to wait for your answers! Thank you for your time.

That's the beauty of this site... we do not work for carriers, nor for the BB. So, we can be truly independent and share more that they would be allowed to share. But, keep in mind that everything we know is therefore not official (unless it is a public site, such as the database of BB KB). We are sure that we are right on these points, but being not "in it", we can't know with 100% certainty.

You're most welcome and good luck!

  • Classic blackBerry 4 g connection problem

I have a problem connecting on the Vodafone uk 4g network while I have no problem with other SIM cards. On Vodafone, I can't get any 3G even if my plan is ready for the 4 g. Vodafone does not know what is the problem. Sometimes I get 4g, but then it disconnects and cannot connect again.

It probably has to do with the frequencies used by your carrier and the amount of signal in the area.

  • Classic classic BlackBerry without access to mobile network

    Hi all

I recently traveled abroad and disabled the mobile network on my classic Blackberry. After returning last night, I found I could not turn it on and get cellular service (after clicking on the Mobile network, it keeps saying "put out cellular services" and not to others). Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thank you so mucy Sdgardne. Very grateful can get support from the community so quickly!

Have you tried the instruction, but the phone still does not work. Went to the Virgin store and replaced a SIM by their request. The phone works now and the problem most likely came from the SIM card (the said store that happens frequently due at the rate of unknow guys).

    Once again, appreciate :-)

  • Problems of EA3500 of 5 GHz network connection

I'm having difficulties to connect to our network of 5 GHz. When I open the list of available networks on my laptop (new windows 10 Toshiba) and Iphone(5s) only our 2.4 GHz standard is displayed. Although on the app of router, I noticed that my laptop of brothers and sisters is connected to the 5 GHz network.

The name of the network 2.4 and 5 GHz are exactly the same. When I changed names to differentiate between networks, devices have been disconnected from the Internet and I couldn't return until I changed the name back.

If you have any questions to my aid situation please ask, I will answer you shortly.

    Thank you

You did while differentiating between the 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz SSIDS. This will make the resolution of the problems. Simply reconnect the devices for the new SSID and you should also bring to forget the previous SSID.

  • Classic problem of the Blackberry blackBerry classic helmet.

    Hello

I had used my BB Q20 classic favorite for 3 months.

I got my the M1 Carrier Singapore Mobile handset and the handset is supposed to be new, legal and authentic.

Before the listener works pretty well.

But a week, I use a local brand headset; as to, I prefer the ear type.

Later, I noticed that the original headset that came with the unit does not work.

The earpiece is confirmed not default.

I found that the listener has entered into operation intermittently, but soon put off while still ongoing calls.

Management of the problem is oriented to the Audio Out Line and Port.

Therefore, kindly address this issue to the respective technician to fix this problem.

    MBS

    Hey guys,.

    Thanks for your attention guys.

Yes, the new piece of ear play music but disappeared off the coast of work several times.

When I tried to return the original ear piece seen does not. But keep on trying, she was returned to service.

I dare not try the third-party product on my classic BlackBerry.

Since the classic BlackBerry original earphone is not well suited to my ear, so eager to find a new.

As spoken, I tried to try a new one; It is SONY model MDR-XB50AP.

It is clearly stated on the box saying that he also designed for BlackBerry.

    Surprisingly, it works fine.

Left only minor problem is that when a call is incoming, the ring is not

transfer to the listener. If the music is turned on, the music will turn silent while the ring is turned on.

    So, the lesson learned is;

Don't try listener party on your BlackBerry device.

Just use the accessories brands designed for BlackBerry.

It's the point that I love product BlackBerry came with this idea of rigorous design.

Thanks again and conclude that the problem is solved with the terms and conditions.

    Kind regards

  • Classic BlackBerry can 10.3.1.1581 be reinstalled on classic BB?

    Hi all

My boss bought a unlocked configure classic BlackBerry a few weeks and I'm all for it. Then someone else decided to 'help' and made a mess of it, he even made a security wipe.

The problem, she now is that mixture does not connect to the device (I don't think no more link connects, not confirmed however). At first I thought it might be related to office network/firewall (network has been installing the same support that swept the phone) so I tried to connect to my passport with their copy of mix and it worked fine.

The 'helper' has zero patience and I wonder if he could have bothered with an update of the OS that might have caused these problems.

Is there anyway to force the phone to reinstall the current operating system (10.3.1.1581)? I hope that a reinstall will straighten things.

    Thank you!

  • 2.4 GHz networks are not found

My mac mini (late 2009) (El Capitan) is not able to pick up networks 2.4 GHz Wireless.

A scan of wireless with my iMac diagnosis nine find ten networks of 2.4 GhZ and 5 GHz network and my macbook pro concludes two 2.4 Hz networks and the network of 5 GHz one... but the mac mini are only 5 GHz network.

Does anyone know why this should be, and what I can do to find the 2.4 GHz that? The router is about 2 meters from the mac mini.

    Thank you.

I can't say with certainty what the cause is but can suggest something to check which is a common problem.

The Mac mini late model 2009 is the old Mac mini form and has very, very tedious connections to WiFi antennas and Bluetooth, if the Mac mini has never been taken to for example upgrade memory, or replace the hard drive, it is extremely common for one or more of these connectors are lost. It could be the 2.4 GHz it is disconnected.

  • Classic classic blackBerry keeps restarting

I had classic Blackberry less then 30 days. Got battery low so I plugged it into the wall, left Jack for about 3 hours. Returned, and he was placed in a kind of loop of constant restarts? All I get is logo blackberry, then black screen and blackberry logo. I was out of town, so when I came home, I connected it to the computer and the computer tried to install a device to drive but then said it was an unrecognized device, although this computer was used to go to this device so clearly the drivers were all there. I started manually the BB desktop software. The software does not recognize the device and lists is no longer in the list of devices. WTH?

A friend has found others on crackberry.com with similar problem but no resolution.

My "BOLD" was doing this before I replaced it. I now use the "BOLD" because my classic is dead. I love BlackBerry, but they make it hard to be faithful.

  • Classic BlackBerry is unable to get a new version of the app

    Hello!

The current version of Navitel Navigator app (https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/33343371/?lang=en&countrycode=RU) in AppWorld is 9.6.486 and Blackberry Classic is marked as device supported. But when I'm looking for this app on my classic BlackBerry (in AppWorld application), I see that 9.2.0.4 only version is available. I send email to the developer of this application and I got the answer, that there is problem of BlackBerry App World. So... How can I get the latest version on my device?

    Hi @sneer

I suspect that the developer has another version of the device application according to BB10 you use, for example on my jump I shows me 9.5.30.0

That being the case, when you contact the developer I would ask them to check what version of their app, they have 'activated' for each device BB10 and mention the different versions being shown in this thread based on device type.

My suspicion is a device with the version 9.6, but other devices were not activated with the version 9.6.

    I hope this helps

  • Classic BlackBerry BB classic: can not load completely while the power is on

    Madam/Sir,

I just bought a classic BlackBerry Q20. My problems are:

    1. I can't fully charge the unit while it is on. If it is enabled, the battery power stops at 60%, no other.

    2. If I load normal when the unit is off, Yes, it will charge up to 100% with green led. However, when I turn on the device, it will start exactly in factory setting. All data, applications and updates are missing.

My question: what should I do? I downloaded the link BlackBerry and BlackBerry mixture, in their latest version. I also supported the unit entirely. But when this happens, and when I tried to restore the device with the last backup, the message is that my device is having a different setting with which stores the link of BlackBerry.

    Kindly help.

  • How can classic BlackBerry locked out device, I contact BlackBerry?

I recently picked up classic BlackBerry my sister, but she left her theft protection, apparently you forgot his password and then remove his BlackBerry ID thought that would solve the problem (of course it doesn't have). After doing a factory reset, it has become obvious that the device will not work without unlocking the theft protection, but this is impossible because his BlackBerry ID no longer exists. I called the store where she bought the classic BlackBerry and their response has been contact BlackBerry to reactivate the account.

This seems simple enough, but in fact proved to be somewhat problematic. On the site Web of BlackBerry I get constantly referred to in the Belgian part of the site that does not exist. How can this even happen for a company of this size? For example: by clicking on the official "BlackBerry Support" link at the top of the page takes me to http://be.blackberry.com/support.html, which is just an error 404 and nothing else.

I contacted (and followed) BlackBerryHelp on Twitter and sent a DM, but after about 30 hours without response I'm getting a little impatient and also fear they will just refer me to another place.

Someone at - it experience with the account of aid and their response time? Is there another way to communicate with BlackBerry on this problem? My last resort is the call the phone number, but I would avoid that, given that the only options in Belgium are French/English and explain a problem over the phone is already quite annoying in my native language (in Dutch).

I have the original purchase at hand confirmation and you can get any other required documents, then this isn't a problem. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are a little technical, you can get your camera upward and functional by loading an old device software (which removes the protection against theft) and then load the latest version of the software again. Here are the steps:

  • Classic blackBerry how to upgrade my OS 10 to version 10.3.1.2072 or later?

My classic Blackberry has a bug: does not charge whem turned off.

I read here (http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/viewdocument.do;jsessionid=5699301A8F9218CF840D56B8EF5D858A?... to solve this problem I have to uptload my OS to version 10.3.1.2072 or later version (currently I have the 10.3.1.1154 version).)

But the Blackberry link uptdate don't operating system (it tells me that there is no germination of updates).

Then, how can I update the OS 10 to version 10.3.1.2072 or later?

Your version is indeed very old! The most recent BB (not necessarily from the carriers) is SR 10.3.1.1784 / OS 10.3.1.2582.

Hmmm... the concept of the 'safe'... hmmm... difficult to answer really. For me, these two methods are sure... I've used both methods several times, and only once had no problems at all (a corrupted file autoloader... easily fixed by getting a replacement from a more reliable source). Indeed, with the most recent series of releases of 10.3.1.xxxx, there are many reports of problems specifically caused by the 'official' installation methods that have actually been cured by these informal methods.

Thus, 'safe' tends to vary according to the current conditions. But, as always, YMMV - and it is 100% your decision as to what is 'safe' for you.

    Good luck!
