Problems of connectivity windows 7, conflict and the IP configuration errors
I have an Asus computer with windows 7 installed. My internet provider is verizon fios, and this problem does occur at home with my computer. Other computers or devices work fine on the network. I get a message that says: there is an IP address conflict. I rest and renewed my IP address through cmd with no luck. I found that if I troubleshoot the network by clicking on the red x, recover the wireless connect 2 and it will work for a period of beginning of disconnect and reconnect. I'll try to diagnose the problem to get the error message of 2 wireless connection doesn't have a valid configuration. I tried everything in the forums for weeks without success. Cmd prompts including changing DNS, Hello settings, but nothing has worked.
Hi Nick,
Try setting power off all computers or devices connected to Wi - Fi in your home except your computer and check.
This error message indicates that another computer on the network using the same IP address that your computer uses. Follow the suggestion of this Microsoft article and check if it helps.

Another problem Windows 7 Ultimate and the message 0xC004C003 error
Sorry to bother you guys with another 0xC004C003 error, but I really don't understand why I get this error.
I recently built myself a new computer and properly installed and activated my copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x 64. I decided to give the system a small upgrade and bought a second SSD and RAID 0 configuration configuration. When it came to the activation of the new construction, I get 0xC004C003 error. Is a reason to upgrade hard drive to get this error?
I wanted to call activation MS but I have a slight problem with that, I speak much Chinese. Let me explain, I moved to China last year and I'm still fighting when people talk fast Chinese, the talker speaks very fast! Now I want to be clear, I was able to activate this key on this machine only 1 months ago. I actually got the imported copy of the United States because here in China I can only buy the Chinese version of the software or fake versions. I can not really afford to import a new copy and to be honest, I don't see why I should, what I have done is changed the configuration of hard disk.
Any help would be most welcome and thank you for reading.

I am rebuilding a system that has been attacked by several viruses and had to rebuild XP using the Windows installation disc. After completing the repair, I was greeted by the XP logon screen and I tried to log in as administrator. The standard screen grass-hill appears followed by a Windows dialog box to activate product indicating "a problem has prevented windows to check exactly the State of this computer. To keep your copy of windows must be activated with Microsoft. You want to activate Windows now? "If I choose 'No', then Windows drives me back to the login screen. If I choose "Yes" then Windows does nothing - activation does not occur and XP does not start... the system just hangs. I also tried to open a session without failure, but he said that I could not activate safe mode and started back me to the login screen. I am able to get to a command prompt, if I select Mode safe mode with prompt at startup. FYI, I am able to view the structure of this version XP Directory when I configure the HARD disk as a slave on another system drive. Any help to resolve this matter will be highly appreciated.
I have exactly the same problem and after 2 days of searching and trying stuff found on the internet, I have solved this problem.
At my computer configuration: Windows XP sp3 with IExplorer 8, but had to go back to the repair facility after that some system files have been corrupted, do not know why.
My repair CD installation was: Windows XP sp2In my view, the main problem is that after the installation of repair, the system obtained in conflict of existing versions of IExplorer 7 and 8. IE 7 & 8A prevented the application of activation of MS (OOBE) of working after the installation of repair, the OOBE application silently chrashed and prevented the logon process.
I couldn't connect even in safe mode, BUT with failure + command prompt, safe mode I managed to log on! So, choose the mode without failure + command promt in the trunk. Then open a session with success. Then close the command prompt and press CTRL + ALT + DEL to Task Manager. In task manager launches the new application "c:" and answer 'No' to the following question, and after an error message you c: drive open and you'll have office. You can close the System Restore Wizard who opened. Then go to c:\windows\ie7\spuninst and run spuninst.exe. Do the same to c:\windows\ie8\spuninst. After you have uninstalled both, restart windows, and after the first issue of activation, you should get the big activation dialog box.
I have spent a lot more time, because I was told that uninstall IE7 and IE8 is possible to do this via the command prompt. I did, but it has not fixed my problem. Then I tried a thousand other tricks at the same time.
Please let us now if this helped you.

Whenever I connect my Motorola Atrix to the PC, Windows XP closes and the PC freezes

Whenever I connect my Motorola Atrix to the PC, Windows XP closes and the PC freezes. Does anyone else have this experience. The connection works fine on my laptop.
Hi patsatrix,
1. When did you start to question?
2. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?
3. This occurs when you connect other USB devices also?
You can try to configure the computer so that it starts cleanboot and check if it helps.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

I have a HP m8034n pc with a tuner Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1600 NTSC/ATSC Combo. The pc came with Vista and Windows media center worked great just with the tv tuner. I upgraded to Windows 7, December 2 and fail to put in place my tv with WMC tuner. The recorded shows that I had before the upgrade to Windows 7 appear and play without problem in WMC. I used the hardware diagnostic tool that is installed on my pc to control the Tuner, and during the test, I can see fine TV stations. This unit is compatible according to microsoft Windows 7. I have the latest driver and tried to uninstall and reinstall. I ran Windows Update and everything is up-to-date. After that WMC checks tuners, it says:
screen A___
WMC has discovered the following:
Analog cable (1 Tuner)Other tuners or TV signals were detected but will not be configured.
(Show details)Is this Setup correct and complete?
o Yes, configure TV with these results
o no, show more options
________________
When I click on show details, it is said:screen B___
No TV Signal
If a TV signal should be present, check your signal for following tuners connections and try again:
Hauppauge WinTV 418 BDA Tuner
________________
There is another question, because he does not list my correct tv tuner. I click, so I'm now on A screen again. When I click Yes, set up TV with these results,-(for the analog option Cable(1 tuner), I select my cable service is, and then click Next.) It then displays a confirmation of analog cable and my cable provider, I click Next again and the error message "installation TV met with a serious problem. Click Finish to exit, and then try again. If this problem persists, restart Windows Media Center or the computer. "appears.
I even tried to set up the signal manually and on the confirmation screen, I click Next, and get the exact same error.
I would really appreciate any help and if more details are required, please let me know. Thank you!
-Doug
I don't know what happened, I left my PC off overnight and planned reformatting today. But I decided to give him another chance. Instead of saying the tuner was not available. He showed me a static snow image strong, as he was trying to use my Analogue tuner. In fact, it is supposed to use the composite input for my cable box. I re set my TV signals, and now everything works well again. Its strange because I reboot half a dozen times last night and it's never worked. Leaving the PC turned off for the night must have done the trick, I guess.

original title: problem with shdocvw.dll
Hey guys just a quick question.
bascailly, I'm working on the first line of support for a company and we have created a software for the United Kingdom NHS, basically our software is used by doctor general practitioner through the United Kingdom to read documents electronically.
a question we seem to become much lately is certain parts of our software will disappear and then when it is closed, we get the usual "software encounterd a problem and needs to close" and the module faulitng error. When event viewer is selected the below appears.
Failing application dme7_client.exe, version 7.1.0.270, failing module shdocvw.dll, version 6.0.2900.6212, address 0x000b26fe failure
It seems that the only way to solve this problem is the newspaper on a differnet and use them as seems to be the specific user. does anyone have any ideas of what we can try to solve this problem without obiously the user with a different account?
see you soon

I got an asus computer notebook windows vista, upgrade from vista to windows 7, now I'm not able to do a clean install of windows xp, when I try to install XP, it says that hard drives are not connected & windows cannot find not the hard drives, so once again installed windows 7, is there a way to overcome this problem Why do I get the message windows xp does not detect hard drives? I even formatted the hard drive & tried to install Xp, but still, I get the same message.
The answers will be appreciated...
Thank you
Because the Windows XP installation CD does not have the necessary disk controller drivers. You will need a floppy drive to provide the drivers of controller for the installation program, or you will need to burn a CD of Windows XP with the controller drivers slipstreamed into the installation. A CD of Windows XP with SP2 included may have the necessary drivers.
