Problems of latitude E6530 USB 3.0 Windows 8

Hello

The left USB 3.0 on my Latitude E6530 does not work when I connect a USB 3.0 device to it. If I plug in a USB 3.0 in device after Windows starts, it does not recognize anything connected to this port. If I connect a USB 3.0 device to the front port to turn the system, Windows will recognize the device once it starts (it will mount an external hard drive, for example), but will immediately report there is error when loading it. This port usually does not recognize devices USB 2.0 without any problems.

USB ports are working fine. I can connect USB 3.0 devices in the USB 3.0 port right, and they work. I can plug in devices USB 3.0 to one of the USB 2.0 ports, and they function as devices USB 2.0, as expected.

I am running Windows 8 Pro.

It's probably a driver issue or a hardware issue?

Thank you.

I have the e6530 of Latitude with the docking station and NONE of my USB 3.0 ports act as 3.0.

But I'm happy to say that it is corrected now! :)

I had later "Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver" is downloaded from the Dell site and Device Manager reports no problem - but every time I have pluged a USB 3.0 device in any of my "SS" USB 3.0 ports I am greeted with the message "this device could accomplish a lot faster..." "in my systray.  :(

I downloaded USBTreeView (freeware) and when I connect a device, according to me, it connects to a USB 2.0 hub port.  No 3.0 ports under my "Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver" were already used.  :(

But this thread solved my problem. The problem is the last "Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver" driver on the Dell site is almost a year older than the latest in Intel.  Thank you JeanPier - your message has reported me here:
en.Community.Dell.com/.../20503380

.. which brings me here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=21129

Download the latest version of the host controller, Intel, install it (unzip & run setup.exe), reboot and your problems will be solved...!

See you soon!

I checked the Windows Update with the troubleshooting Diagnostic Utility. I made sure that there is no infection or rootkits on your computer. I followed several suggestions I found the title of Microsoft Support positions and renamed the folder of Distribution system, as well as a few things of the reset. I have register/authenticate online with Microsoft Windows software.

When I run the troubleshooter, it says registration for the Service is missing or damaged, and he said it suits him, but he can't solve "problems installation of recent updates. However, when I run it again, it is said that he correct once again.

  • No Apple USB driver in Windows 10 Device Manager

Is there a way to retrieve the Apple USB driver in Windows 10 Device Manager.  I downloaded the iTunes 12.3.3 yesterday and now he is gone.

    I tried

    • plug into each of my Apple devices (iPod, iPad, iPhone, iPhone 4S 6)
    • restarting my computer
    • disabled my virus protection software
    • synchronization with different strings (some Apple, others not)
    • my devices restart and try again
    • Uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling
    • Uninstalling iTunes and goes back to and older version
    • make a Windows system to a restore point when I could synchronize my devices

My main problem is that I need to sync my devices and iTunes does not detect them without the driver.  Windows can detect my devices and they appear in the file Explorer.  I am also able to get pictures and videos I've taken off the power unit and on my computer with no problems.

Anything else I can try?  I'm out of ideas.  Thank you!

    This can help:

  • Disconnect external USB key using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

Whatever the USB that I connect to my desktop PC Windows 7 continualy disconnects readers. I tested many drives, but when tested on my laptop using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit all these exact same drives work perfectly.

My office is using and Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz with 3 GB of memory.

I've read this complaint anywhere on the Internet and I tried several fixes with no positive results. All the drivers are up to date. I uninstalled and reinstalled until I'm blue in the face.

What I read during my research, it seems that this is a common problem that 64-bit users are complaining a lot, but that's obviously a problem with the 32-bit version of Windows 7 as well. Many tech Internet sites also claim that it is ONLY a problem on the desktop and not on laptops, which I guess I confirmed in my tests.

Everyone does experience, and if anyone has found a fix?

    Thank you.

  • Problems with hotsynching my Tungsten E2 with Windows 7

My husband just bought me a labtop and I also have a Palm Tungsten E2.  Here's my problem: my palm don't HotSync and I have years of information on it.  So after weeks of coming to accept the fact that my palm does not work with my new laptop which has Windows 7 (I love my phone and I love my Palm) I decided to attempt more HotSync and obviously it didin't work.  So now that I reluctantly accepted that my palm and the new laptop are not good for them, I am ready to go with another plan of action.  So, does anyone know if there is another computer on Pocket (probably not a Palm product) which is compartive hand held Palm that will work with windows 7? As well as in a way that I can get all my info transferred from the Palm on the new product (whatever it is)?  I would really appreciate any help that anyone can give.    I'm looping at the moment, because I rely on my Palm.  I don't like that people say, it cannot be an up-to-date product, but he did wonders for me to help me keep my schedule together.  I'd really rather NOT go back to the paper version of Franklin Covey, which is where I started.  For those who know the Franklin Covey, is wonderful, but it's on paper.  I don't want to go back to the paper.  Too much stuff to carry and the Palm is so much easier >!

    * original title - not a happy camper! Problems with hotsynching my Tungsten E2 with Windows 7 *.

I presume that you have run the troubleshooting tips to: http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/na/tungsten/e2/unlocked/solutions/article/2630_en.html

And the software downloaded and installed the latest:

State of Palm, 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Vista will synchronize not via USB so they suggest BlueTooth.  Since you have a new laptop, done with BlueTooth?  (If not, we can always blame your husband for getting the bad!).  It is a solution, you can buy a BlueTooth dongle for not a lot of $s:

Most of them simply plug into a USB port, so there is no duty open Notepad.

  • Problem detection IOGEAR GUH285 USB 2.0 hub

I just bought this 2.0 hub 4 port USB of IOGEAR (model GUH285). This is supposed to be a plug-and-play hub. Infact, if I connect it to my other computer with windows 7, it works fine. But on this one (Windows 7 too), it's not!

In PC-1, where he works, it does not install any software device driver. It works and is listed under USB controllers in Device Manager.
In PC-2, where it does not, it's trying to install a software device driver and it fails. If I look in the Device Manager, it lists under other devices-> hub USB 2.0 with a yellow sign at the front. If I try to update the driver and then manually select the location one or C:\\Windows\Drivers, it can't find it (my assumption was that it takes a generic player already installed on PC - 2 is on PC - 1). I contacted the manufacturer, but they say it should work like him for the other PC running the same operating system windows 7. Can someone help me please.

by the way, I got it works... had to install manually the usb hub root for her... but now there is another problem... my usb for mouse Logitech M305 wireless receiver would not work with her. Other things attached to the hub as a Western digital external drive, USB in Kingston, dell etc USB keyboard key work perfectly well. Only problem is with the USB receiver. If I connect the M305 usb receiver to the hub, it will try to install a device driver and invariably fails and it lists, as previously, under "other device-> usb receiver" in Device Manager. But if I connect the M305 usb receiver to the other free usb port on my laptop directly, it works very well and it lists as composite USB device. I can see that the driver is 'C:\Windows\system32\drivers\usbccgp.sys' when it is listed as a device composite usb plugged into the USB port on my laptop. It is just plug and play in this case. Is there a way I can manually install this driver specific to the M305 usb receiver when it is connected to the USB 2.0 hub? Hope that I have understood the question.

  • Pouvez the Superdrive Apple USB used with windows computer

Can I use the Superdrive Apple USB with the windows computer

Only on a USB Bus, which can provide more standard power 500 milliamps.

Apple computers that support this drive directly have a USB function that allows it to attract more of the standard.

    Drive sharing

If your Mac is not a built-in optical drive, and you must use a CD or DVD, you can connect an external drive as the SuperDrive Apple USB.

You can also share disks of the optical drive of another Mac or a Windows computer that has the DVD or CD sharing Setup installed. Sharing of CD or DVD allows you to access documents stored on these disks and allows you to install some software.

USB drivers are part of the Windows operating system. This means that Win 7 alrady contains the correct drivers.

On the European driver Toshiba page, I could find different patches towing registry 1.0 and 1.2

  • Problem of drift incredibly strange clock in Windows 8 on ENVY 14 t-1000

I have a ridiculously strange and frustrating issue running Windows 8 x 64 (RTM) on my Envy 14 t-1000.

The first time I noticed this problem was when I ran the consumer Windows 8 build preview earlier in the year. I noticed that my clock might drift off-sync, usually at least a few hours, often more than a day (always drifted backward in time). I would sync it using 'Internet time' in the options of time & Date but it would soon become off once again in a few minutes.

Thinking it was a dead CMOS battery, I disconnected the battery and checked, but it read full voltage. I then did a clean install of Windows 7, no problems whatsoever. That lasted a few months.

I recently did a clean install of the final version of Windows 8. Exactly the same thing is happening now.

All this experience? Is there a particular driver should I install? An incompatibility permanent with Windows 8 on this machine?
