ProBook 450: 450 ProBook G0 does not start

When th epower button, the CPU fan starts and runs too.

The CAPS LOCK button is flashing, the led for the power adapter, and that's all.

I can't enter the BIOS by pressing F10, and nothing is displayed on the screen.

There is no connected peripheral devices.

I removed the battery adapter and network and the press and held the power button for more than 15 seconds as described in another article - same symptoms, IE, CAPS lock key blinks, flashes for the power adapter, and that's all.

I deleted and reinstalled the memory module and tried starting the machine - the same symptoms, IE, flashing CAPS lock button, the light output for flashes of power adapter, and that's all.

I removed the hard drive and and tried starting the machine - the same symptoms, IE, flashing CAPS lock button, the light output for flashes of power adapter, and that's all.

I reassembled the nd machine and tried starting up again - same symptoms, IE, CAPS LOCK button flashes, light output for flashes of power adapter, and that's all.

I tried NOT to use the power adapter, just switch on the machine with the battery cover - soul symptoms, IE, flashing CAPS lock button, the light output for flashes of power adapter, and that's all.

Anyone have an idea how I can at least get into the BIOS or run any diagnostic tests? If I could get here, it would be a start.

It's a dead motherboard. I'm sorry.

After that, I did a "reset power" once again, reinstall memory and try to start the laptop. One way to start is to move the memory in the other slot, but it cannot start after his stop. After his return in the first memory location can be started again until the next stop. And when start, does not start from the beginning, but after 2 seconds, for his second try. The BIOS memory test, the EFI system diagnostic and memtest86 has errors. • Recovery partition is there but does not start Recovery

    Hello

When you try to restore the image (F11 at startup), the laptop seems to be as he tries to start missing Windows installation (Windows Boot Manager error page).

Partitions 'SYSTEM', 'HP_RECOVERY' and 'HP_TOOLS' have not been affected. Recovery files of ~ 15 GB are still there!

The Windows (2nd primary) partition was deleted and then recreated as an NTFS partition. Since then, the recovery process does not start.

How can I restore my intact HP_RECOVERY partition system without using recovery DVD? (I can't access right now.)

The partition Windows has need of a specific disk label? What is the magic that breaks the recovery when an NTFS partition is all simply deleted and then re-created?

    HP ProBook 6550 b (WD701EA #ABD)

Solution: How to fix F11 penetrates is not in the Recovery Manager process

    You will need:

-This fix by HP: difficulty to the Multi-partition HP Recovery Manager (the ProBook 6550 b is not listed as a supported model, but it worked for me)

-installation of Windows (see partial solution above) a job to install the fix on your ProBook

    or

-sufficient knowledge to extract the winre.wim missing the fix above, copy it to your recovery partition and to apply any measures necessary (I did this)

    Steps to follow:

-in your work on your ProBook Windows installation open the file downloaded "sp48415.exe".

-the files will be extracted in "C:\swsetup\SP48415", open this folder in Explorer

-Right click on "F11SPFix.cmd" and run as administrator

    -the patch will be applied

Restart und press F11 at startup to enter your recovery Manager (hopefully) fixed.

  • Black MacBook does not start

I have a 10 year old black Macbook, which does not start when a battery is installed.  If it is connected without battery installed, it lights up, but if there is a battery in it, even if it is plugged in, it will get the startup sound and the screen of the Apple gray, then turn off.  I got a new battery and charge it where the charger turned green, but the results are the same.

    Any suggestions?

It is difficult to say what is happening with this machine, since the time and wear are considerations. I don't know what version of the operating system that you use, but there is a sequence of things you should do - in order of severity.

Since the 10.11.6 patch my IMac does not start with my hub plugged.

    Everyone

I assume you mean a USB hub? What does do when it's plugged in? It starts successfully when the hub is not plugged? If so, I would say that something is wrong with the hub or there is a problem with the port it is plugged or something plugged into the hub.

Try to plug it into a different USB port on your Mac.

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or limit Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  • My MacBook does not start and fires after the Apple logo. I received this error via FirstAid detail in disk utility.

    Hi Apple/community,

    I need a help.

What it means? Operation failed! My MacBook Pro does not start. It cuts after the loading screen. What will happen?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Well, it seems that your MacBook Pro hard drive has failed and cannot be repaired by disk utility.

If it works, try to repair the disk with this command:

I also turned off my computer and uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox several times.

I'd really rather not lose all my bookmarks Firefox, modules, and preferences. I also prefer to use Firefox for Chrome, so if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. I don't know what else to try.
