Protocols to win 8 calendar application

We currently use a firewall SonicWall for content, filtering and such. It requires users to sign in to access the internet. My network admin needs to know what protocols the Win 8 calendar application uses so it can open the firewall. Currently, users have to be registered in the calendar sync. Thanks in advance for your time.

It will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have.
Anyway, in my opinion, there is a software conflict. I guess players use even modules or plug-ins, and there is a conflict.

I put t know what solution can be, but maybe you should remove both players, restart your laptop and make own BD drive in the hope that it will work properly.

  • Calendar application does not correctly synchronize between computers

For several days, my calendar application (part of Mail, calendar & people) was not properly synchronize between computers.  If I run the application modern calendar on my Dell laptop to update Pro Windows 8.1, at a meeting of current calendar, it seems that I can make entries but after reboot the same computer or on another computer, the entries are lost.

I thought that the answer might be that I need to uninstall and reinstall the app Mail, calendar & people.  But when I do, I meet the download of Windows Store pending problem that never ends and you try to run the troubleshooter Windows Update store still hangs on the re-registration of the Windows store.  None of the fixes suggested in the thread on the subject works for me:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_8-windows_store/Windows-8-apps-are-pending-and-never-download-from/d859c093-ee94-4581-9bdf-95e35f0c9e0c

I am answering my own question as I've found running a registry cleaner on the affected computer registry errors found especially for Windows Store.  After the repair of the registry, Windows Store downloads work properly and I am unable to reinstall the Mail application, calendar, & people and it now correctly syncs between computers.  The registry cleaner that I happened to use that figure in the Norton Utilities 16 but I guess any other good registry cleaners might work as well.  Utility for troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Update store never work properly and that's it for me.  He would always hang on the re-registration of the Windows store.

Microsoft must make its app Store Windows more reliable than to make a crucial Central application for Windows 8 (the application Mail, calendar & people) more robust and more functional.  I used the software to Microsoft for more than 32 years, but repeated like this with Windows 8 experiences are very encouraging.

One that comes pre-loaded is part of the AOSPS. In the game store is the same thing directly from Google. This is for phones from different manufacturers, whose apps calendar may differ from stock android.

There are several options depending on your operating system.

For XP/Vista: You can use Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 and run Windows XP x 32 inside your x 64 system.

For Windows 7 (Pro and Ultimate only): you can use Windows Virtual PC, which comes with a copy of Windows XP on the inside to run legacy applications.

  • Windows Calendar application

I have a RT Surface and a windows phone. How can I sync the calendar app so I don't have to maintain separately?

Sync your Outlook calendar to your Microsoft account, then on your phone

    1. check your mail server type

Note Outlook 2003 must use instructions for Outlook 2007 to sync their calendar.

First of all, check if you are using Outlook with Microsoft Exchange (if already know you, skip this step and proceed to step 2: Add your account to your phone):

    • Microsoft Office Outlook 2010

      1. Open Outlook 2010 on your computer.
      2. On the file tab, click Info.
      3. In the account information section, click account settings, and then select Account Settings.
      4. Next to the name, look for the account Type.
      5. Find your email address and see if Microsoft Exchange is listed as the type of mail.
        Collapse this includes this image

      6. Go to step 2, Add your account to your phone.
    • Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
      1. Open Outlook on your computer.
      2. Click on Tools.
      3. Click on account settings.
      4. Under name, locate the account Type.
      5. Find your email address and see if Microsoft Exchange is listed as the type of mail.
        Collapse this includes this image

      6. Go to step 2, Add your account to your phone.

2 Add your account to your phone

If you have not added to your Microsoft or Microsoft Exchange account (for example, your work, Office 365 mail) account on your phone, follow these steps:

    • If you use Outlook WITHOUT Exchange

      1. Start, flick left to the applications list, tap settings

        Collapse this includes this image

and then tap Email + accounts.

      2. Tap Add accountand then on account of Microsoft (or Windows Live).
      3. Enter your email information and password, and then click connect.
      4. Go to step 3, synchronize your calendar.
    • If you use Outlook WITH Exchange
