PSC 1500 prints a cartridge alignment page whenever it is turned on.

Hello. My problem is everytime I turn on my printer, it displays a cartridge alignment page. Usually, I use no. 92 black HP ink cartridge and have no problem.

My instruction book informs me that I am also able to use HP no. 94 (which prints multiple pages).

I installed a n ° 94, and the problem started.

I contacted HP through the phone, but they were unable to help him.

Please is - anyone can solve this problem, unless I have to go back and use n ° 92, given that I bought four No. 94 on special.

Thank you in advance.

The alignment must be completed by loading the alignment properly on the PSC 1510 page and pressing the button of scan as described in this post.

  • DeskJet F4280 - print a cartridge alignment Page every few minutes

My F4280 has decided to printe cartridge alignment pages, whenever I turn it on or randomly as he just sits there.  When I put the page alignment and hit the resume (because he told me to do) he goes through an internal movement, sits there for a while, THEN displays another page of chartridge alignment.  Tried reloading the software, but problem still them.

    Hello ImJustAvg,

This should help. When another page comes out of the printer, first disconnect the computer then place the page on the scanner and hit the resume. After restarting makes the printer to see if it will always print a page. If it continues to do, he checks the quality of the page. There must be black on it and at least 1 color. not to mention the color in the picture of the printer.

  • Align the PSC 750 printer ink cartridge error message.

I just replaced only the black cartridge in my printer PSC 750.  (Will replace the color cartridge later as my money allows.) The printer is connected to my laptop, MacBookPro, under OS X, version 10.6 operating system.  After replacing the cartridge, I ran a self-evaluation report.  It seemed to run correctly.  No color cartridge only test model because there is no ink in the cartridge.  Then I ran the process to align the print cartridge which gives an error on the printer.  It displays "error: Align page not detected" when I clearly placed the page alignment on the scanner glass.  Tried this process several times and each time I get this error message.

Could it happen because I have not yet replaced the color cartridge?  If not, then what?

Alignment requires the black and cyan (or was it yellow on this model?) part of the color cartridge to print for correct alignment.  If you have an old copy of the alignment page you can use it, although the alignment would be suboptimal.

Soak the printhead of the cartridge 78 in 1 "hot water for ten minutes and then gently the printhead from drying and put it back in the printer may allow enough ink complete the alignment page.

  • How to print a new alignment page (C4580)?

    Hi Forum,

just installed a new ink cartridge in HP C4580 to my mother-in-law. The page "alignment" that subsequenty was printed for scanning was messed up in paper jam, and now I can't figure out how to make a new.

It does not simply remove the cartridge and insert again. The manual simply says "If the test is not successful, try again", but nothing on the way if the alignment page is messed up. On the net I can only find instructions on how to print a test page printer (by pressing the power button and press OK).

Someone has an idea how redo alignment? Thanks in advance

  • HP Deskjet F4280, replacement cartridges, now constantly print alignment page

I bought new cartridges HP 60 Black & color. Replace as usual and traversed the alignment as usual. Printer will print an alignment page every time I turn printer on, when a print, a document printer prints page alignment before & after printing document. Will simply print new page alignment at various times when the printer is immediately using the computer.

I uninstalled the printer, reinstalled the printer, download fresh drivers of HP and I tried uninstalling then reinstalling with fresh fron drivers HP (just in case those who I had the origianlly were corrupted). Through updates of HP F4280.

Everything I have tried does not problem solve.

I even tried to not having printer connected to my computer, just to stand alone and as soon as I turned on it printed an alignment page.

Tried to install on a different computer, but same problem still exists.

Any ideas on what could be wrong & solutions?

You forced to do an alignment yet again to see if it is successful?

  • Alignment Page HP PSC1315 prints every time the printer is turned on

It's VERY frustrating.  After installing a printer driver updated to my new Win7 system and installation new black ink cartridge in the printer dang prints the alignment Page, whenever I turn it on!  I have "lined up" it several times and yet HP insists to waste my (money for waste of ink and paper) green, even though I followed the software and the instructions on the page to test several times!  Help!  It is rather ironic, given my brand new printing software (wow that download was enormous: no doubt inflate more software) has a button how to be green at the top right!

I've been a supporter of long standing of HP that buying the products of your printer for many years, but unless this is resolved soon, I'll go out and spend double what price this printer and return the money to your Kumite.  This is intolerable!  I do not think that your software help consider even this oversight, oh, but I see that I can click on a convenient button HP purchase!  Furthermore, I'm not some neophyte with computers, I built this pc and many others before it.

    signed... Frustrated!

    Hello

    Have you tried that?

1 turn the printer off and wait ten seconds. Turn it back on.

    2. let the printer print test page.

    3. when the test page prints, unplug the USB cable that connects to the printer to your computer. Not turn off the printer and unplug the cable.

    4. place the test page to the glass of the scanner and press the SCAN button on the printer control panel. The indicator light flashes while the page is being analyzed.

5 remove the test page when the indicator light stops flashing.

    6. turn the printer off and wait another ten seconds.  Now you can turn it back on it.

It is no longer printing test pages?

Now, you can reconnect the USB between PC and the printer cable.

    Please post your results.

    Kind regards

  • HP Photosmart 6510 alignment Page failure, black ink cartridge not working not

I'm on Mac OSX using the Photosmart 6510 AIO printer 10.7.4. I had problems before printing (black ink would not introduce yourself, sensor said that there was still a lot) so I ordered new cartridges. I printed a report of quality and the color came out great but black came out uneven. Then I used the align parameter and it printed once more uneven black ink and the screen on the printer read "the alignment page failed. It's frustrating, because the printer was used only at the end of last semester and he has not worked since I set up for this semester. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    Ryan

The steps in this troubleshooting page can help solve the problem.  If it is printing black but spotted I expecially make sure I check the vents and run a cleaning cycle.  If the above does not resolve the issue, see the post here.

  • DeskJet 3050 a: Alignment Page prints clearly. Docs are not!

Yesterday, I installed a new HP print cartridge (#61 black) in my printer HP Deskjet 3050 All in One, J611 a. (Everything was fine with the printer before installing the new cartridge).

I printed the alignment page, which looked very well - clear, strong.

Then, I placed the alignment on the scanner page and clicked OK. The alignment page has been analyzed and the printer said alignment was successful.

Then I tried to print a Word Doc. The letters and images were not aligned - the entire document had to effect "double vision". I tried this on the parameters of "fast draft" and "best quality". Same effect. Also, I tried to print a pdf file as well as a page directly from my Safari browser. Same effect.

I then tried to change the route. Still, the alignment page prints perfectly. Double no vision. A beautiful look at just the page, I expect. Unfortunately, when I tried to pring a doc: double vision again.  I have tried to align the printer, this time by sending orders for the Mac (instead of directly from the printer). Alignment page prints fine. Scan reported successful alignment. Doc printed: double vision.

I cleaned the scanner glass.  I have confirmed that there is enough ink in the color cartridge.  I then printed a "Printer Status Report." As with the alignment page, the status report is out of the printer looking for very well. And nothing in the report that indicates problems.

Finally, I scanned the document alignment and sent the image to the Mac. The image looks perfect on screen. I printed the image. Double Vision!  I then tried to copy the alignment page using the printer copier. Is where it gets very weird: there was a double vision on dashes and and angled brands, but the text and the image of the printer (taking the low third of the alignment page) print perfectly well. In other words, with an alignment page perfectly readable on the scanner glass, I pressed the copy and the result was a double vision for some but not all that printed ON THE SAME PAGE!

Help! And thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    MAC OS 10.7.5

SOLVED!  I got a question on this site involving a printer that has not detected the alignment page ("Officejet 5510 alignment page not detected').

The difficulty seems to be to eject BOTH cartridges.  That's what I did: (1) ejected the bw, then the color cartridge (2) turn the printer off, then on, (3) reinsert the color cartridge and then the cartridge p.c., (4) printed a new alignment page, (5) scanned the alignment page, (6) printed a Word Doc.

Everything seems to work very well.

I hope it helps others with similar issues to printer.

  • DeskJet F2480 guard printing alignment page

I installed a new Deskjet F2480 and everything was fine.  Had to replace cartridges soon after.  I installed the HP cartridges.  But now, when you print a document, it STILL prints on an alignment page.  Computer has Win XP Pro, Office 2007.  I've seen a few old messages with the same problem, but the resolution.  Any ideas?

I had already completed a Page SEVERAL times.  I understand a solution: uninstall the basic version (originally installed from the CD at the time of purchase).  Downloaded and installed the version of ALL the FEATURES.  After alignment over a few guest, all right.

I have a HP PSC 1315 all-in-one printer (no suffix). I keep off when not in use. Whenever I turn it on, it displays a test page.

The page is printing is an alignment page printed after a cartrdige is changed.  You must complete the alignment process of loading the page on the scanner and pressing the scan button as shown in your user manual, page 33.

  • HP PSC 1510: Printer problem

My printer prints an alignment page, whenever I turn it on. I have downloaded/installed the latest drivers, no help.

How can I fix this. It didn't happen when I was connected to a pc with an earlier operating system.

Alignment again if it does not.  After the alignment page is printed, it must be placed on the scan scanner glass and press.  Try the following:

    1. Turn the printer off, wait 30 seconds, then turn the printer.
    2. To print the alignment page.
    3. Unplug the USB cable from the computer to the printer.
    4. Load the page alignment on the bed of the scanner, and then press the scan button.  The power light will blink while the analysis ends.
    5. Once the completed scan turn the printer off and then back on.  If the alignment page does not print, the problem is resolved.  You can now reconnect the USB cable.
    6. The page always prints if maybe because black or color cartridge cyan portion will not print correctly.  In this case, check the ink levels.  If they are OK, then perform a printhead, cleaning cycle.
