  We include an e-mail to Webhelp to our product link to allow our users to send us your comments on specific topics (none received to date, but I live in hope that someone, somewhere, reads for help...).

  A customer asked if it is possible to include an email link in the help topics that will send an email to that client sys admin.

  Obviously, a search / replace on all htm files would be the case, for example to replace the email address of my company doc feedback with email of the customer on the link send comments. But is there a more elegant way to do it?

  • The e-mail address may be specified in a file separate and included somehow in all htm, while a single file would need to be changed by the installer.

  I guess you want to simply send e-mail to the user's system, right? If it is to be sent automatically in the background, you need a solution on the side server.

  I see two options: sets of variables and JavaScript.

  • With the sets of variables, you set the email as a variable. And that you configure a set for each customer. But you will end up with a single output by customer.

  It seems that static fields don't get injected into the JDK 8.

  I can't inject static fields has never officially supported. The documentation for @FXML and FXMLLoader are pretty awful, but no example in the official tutorial use static fields with the @FXML annotation. This seems to be a really bad design still: imagine later you decided to re-use the file FXML twice in your application: the second controller would replace the field injected by the first controller.

• Why my Illustrator file linked with an opacity mask to my Indesign file a washed out appearance?

  I have an indesign this work of Illustrator related uses of the file. The illustrator files contain opacity masks, and when I import into my layout indesign they give the bottom of the pages a washed out appearance. I noticed that the page in my project Indesign who doesn't have opacity masks linked seems fine.

  So, I know that the opacity mask is performing the indesign document somehow but I don't know how to solve the problem. I tried merging the texture in the opacity mask, flattening of the illustration illustrator, paste the illustrator shape directly on the page, save the work as a PNG; but nothing seems to work.

  Here is the configuration of my illustration illustrator opacity mask. Its basically a group of white textures I pasted in the opacity mask. It's a single layer.

  Thank you for all your help. I thought about it. I did the background texture in photoshop and converted to grayscale. Turns out I should have converted to CMYK. Once I did this everything unified in my indesign document.
