  1. you have completely removed the AVG Free before you've installed MSE (originally).

  2 and should have removed entirely the Norton application (or free-trial) before (the original) that you have installed AVG Free.

  Hi Laura, support will update your SR with the solution and the first cause. To update this thread, the problem is that you had an agent (10.2.0.5 or 11g) in the box of SGD 12 c before the upgrade. SGD 12 c install also installs an agent on this box, but will not create the target host as target host was already created and controlled by the former agent.
  Travel to an agent will fail if the agent does not monitor the target host. Thus, oracle_emrep target relocation failed and raises questions that customers report.

  We donnt 2-system of support upgarde on the same host (guide says the same thing). Support will help you how to go forward, I explained the steps.

  Hi Dennis,

  I'm sorry to hear that you're facing problem with the installation.

  You need not install CS2 to upgrade to CS4. Also, most of the newer operating systems is not compatible with CS2 and cause problems. If you have the serial number for CS2, begin the installation of CS4 and enter the CS2 number (when prompted) to benefit from the upgrade.

  Now, I suggest you to remove CS2 Control Panel, delete the remaining files and folders (if you can find it) and then install CS4 after restarting the machine.

  If you use windows machine, please open the Task Manager and try to find similar to the MSIEXEC or MSI installer process and close these processes and try again.

• Problem catalog PSE10 to new PC transfer

  I'm trying to restore my catalog PSE8 (converted successfully in a catalog PSE10 on my old PC Vista) on PSE10 on my new Windows 7 PC.  My last 7 or 8 attempts resulted in a catalog that hangs PSE10 in seconds.  Here are some of the approaches I have used so far, each resulting in a restored catalog that instantly blocks PSE10 on my Win7:

  1 PS8 on my Vista and restoration on PS10 on my new Win7 full backup (including the reconnection of missing files, optimization, repair, etc., which I repeated it during each of the attempts below).

  2. the full backup PS8 on my Vista and a restoration on a newly installed copy of PS8 on my Win7. Restore worked perfectly on PS8, so I backed up / restored to the PS10 on the same machine.

  3 repeated attempt #2 after deleting all my photos (so that they would be re - transfer during the restore process), but he converted the PS8 catalog in PS10 directly from the 'My catalog' folder instead of using the restore function.

  4-5 repeated #2 and #3 after uninstalling and reinstalling the PSE10 on my Win7 before each separate attempt.

  6. repeat the #1 attempt, but firstly installed on my Vista and converted PSE10 catalogue directly from my "My catalog" folder you are prompted.  The restore worked perfectly in PSE10 on my Vista (success!), but failed (as always) when you use the full backup/restore on PSE10 on my new Win7.

  Some of these steps are repeated more with my entire photo collection (and the hidden catalogue PES files) deleted manually every time that (as I did before each retry).

  Because PSE10 restoring was a hit on my old Vista and also in PSE8 on my Win7, no backup catalog created repeatedly seem to be corrupted.  The conflict is exclusively with each of the various installs and reinstalls PSE10 on my new Win7 PC.

  Suggestions?  Each of my uninstalling of PES 10 claim to remove data (I ticked the box), but each relocation seems to "remember" the place on my drive external hard of my previous backup file catalog (I click away from him each time and find the last catalog file I created for this specific attempt).  Perhaps there is a more complete method of uninstall PSE10 that catalog of Add/Remove Programs dialog box, followed by a manual removal of photos folders and hidden files?

  I would be grateful any new approaches to tackle this problem as well.  I bought this new PC Win7 mainly to work with 10 of PSE.

  I'm assuming that when you say "fails" the conversion on your Win7 PC, you don't want to you get an error message, but the converted catalog block organizer.  Is this fair?

  Is the catalog of PSE10 on your Win7 machine in the same directory for title of "C:\ProgramData"?   If so, here's one of the last things to try: create a new standard user on Win7 computer account, create desktop shortcuts and see if organizer can use the converted PSE10 catalog.

  If there are problems with the implementation at day then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version and remove the Firefox program folder to remove all remaining files.

  Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

  I recently did a clean install of Windows 7, Windows Vista update. I've never used the web cam on Windows Vista, so I can't testify as to whether or not the web camera is workin properly. However, when I tried to use it with Skype, it did not work. I reinstalled the driver that I backed up before I installed the new operating system, but it did not work. The web cam does not appear at all in Device Manager - even when the value for show hidden devices. Trying new material added through the control panel fails to detect the webcam at all. I rebooted after each installation/repair of the driver.

  Reinstalled drivers saved
  I used the third-party software (Double Driver) to back up and reinstall the drivers for the webcam after I installed Windows 7. Double Driver claimed there was no device to install the driver. Manually, I copied the files in the folder using the camera and replaced existing ones. The files I copied were:

  UVCFTR_S.SYS

  Pilots relocated from site Web from Toshiba
  Vast Goolging turned only recommendations to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. I was unable to find the drivers for windows 7 64 bit, but I tried for my laptop model for Windows Vista 64 - bit - no luck. I tried to install software camera for Toshiba support, as far as I know, including the driver - it gives me the error described above.

  I also tried to find a universal Windows 7 driver for the webcam - I was unable to find one.

  I met a thread post who suggested a loose wire was responsible and that the camera could work when the cover is almost closed. I tried this and the camera suddenly appeared in the Device Manager. However, I still can't make it work with Camera Assistant Software or Skype.

  Does this mean that webcam does not appear in Device Manager if the cover is open right?
  In this case, it seems that there is no link between the webcam and the motherboard.
  As far as I know as the internal cam is connected to the controller card USB mother s and possibly there is a bad connection.

  Possible solution: I think that the technician needs to disassemble the laptop to check the connection :(

  I use the scope Soft Front Panel OR with my USB NI 5132 for some time successfully. However, recently it has stopped working completely - seems to load a bit then fails before you even open the screen. The same thing happens in MAX I did all the updates critical, uninstalled then reinstalled NI Scope, uninstalled Labview (the only thing I had changed after the last time, I know that it worked successfully) and checked the nitaglv.dll library was in the right place according to this post: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/63739991438EC593862579C6007301EC

  My environment:

  8.1 Windows 64 bit running under Oracle VirtualBox Version 4.3.20 running Mac OS x on a MacBook Pro 2012 10.10.1. I have no prior exposure to work with myDAQ, LabView, or any tool of NOR.

  I downloaded NIELVIS1400_downloader.exe for Windows 8.1 to ni.com and it is finished.

  During installation I secured guarded against the problems of Win8FastStartup by stopping and restarting the PC when asked.

  After the installation when I plugged it physically in the myDAQ device, it was recognized by Windows 8.1 because Device Manager has the 'data acquisition' entries under which "NEITHER myDAQ" appears. For NEITHER myDAQ device status is 'this device is functioning.

  When the myDAQ was physically connected, the window "NI ELVISmx Instrument Launcher" popped up. I clicked on the icon 'How to set up your hardware' and the 'get started Guide... "pop up. I checked the blue LED on the device came and it is stable on. I went to "2. Paragraph confirms the recognition of the devices"in implementing on the way, guide and follow the instructions to start the automatic test. There not as described above.

  I noticed similar problems have been reported in the past. Closest to my problem reported by flex11 on 05/05/2014. Reading through I don't see any resolution itself. Another similar problem was solved by manually starting the service 'NOR device charger '. In my case, this service is already running. "NO license server" is the only service stopped, but I guess that's normal for myDAQ.

  I don't have any other product OR installed on the PC.

  I'm sure there is a simple solution to this problem, but I'm afraid it's escape. I'd appreciate any help I can get through this forum.

  I installed http://www.ni.com/download/ni-daqmx-14.2/5046/en/ and finally managed to do work. The exact boot sequence I need is:

  (1) delete myDAQ by USB port and then start Windows 8.1 under VirtualBox.

  (2) after that Windows 8.1 will appear, fix myDAQ on a USB port. If a pop-up window appears asking you to respond, ignore (at the beginning I did not ignore it and myDAQ transformed into a charger USB device firmware such as reported by Device Manager).

  (3) at this stage most likely "VirtualBox VM features-online USB Devices" drop-down menu shows "National Instruments NI myDAQ [0003]" as an entry but without a check mark to the left of the name. Bring the cursor to the left of the name and click here. You should now see a check mark there.

  (4) my myDAQ Self tests started working.

  However, I need the functionality provided by ELVIS as well. So I uninstalled http://www.ni.com/download/ni-daqmx-14.2/5046/en/ and installed from NI ELVISmx 14.0. My boot sequence that I have reported above, didn't work. Just at the moment it's just happened that Oracle has released Version 4.22 of VirtualBox that I wanted to try and ELVIS started to run. I can now use myDAQ DMM.

  One thing that contributed to my problems is fruitless attempts to uninstall the software OR. Unsuccessful uninstalls leave garbage behind who can or cannot cause problems in subsequent relocations. In one case, I'm done with the nidevldu (OR charger) service stuck in the system. I had to do a reset Windows 8.1 recovery operation to get rid of him. I decided to restart Windows 8.1 before uninstalling the software.
