  • Please, go to the Windows, where Device Manager, expand display adapters.

  Photoshop cs5 crashes on launch when loading the brushes.  I have to do a hard reboot and reset the preferences.  In the last 2 days I had to do it 3 times.  I have the latest drivers.  Here's my hardware.  I'm also under lightroom.  I don't have this problem after I installed the latest updates on the adobe Web site. Does anyone have information on a fix for this problem thank you very much for your time.

  I guessed it was a later part of the process and loading brushes was just the last thing as shown.

  Could you send me a copy of this file corrupt brushes?  I would like to know how he could cause the launch to hang.

• Ultimate Kyle Webster Brush Set and new Photoshop

  Hello world! I just bought the new CC - earlier today, I have paid for and downloaded everything I intended to use - mainly photoshop and illustrator. A few months ago, I bought the set ultimate gumroad Kyle brush brush, but was not able to use it because I have always been using Photoshop Elements. I was very upset to know, when I tried to upload to photoshop today, they have always claimed that they were not compatible. Does anyone know why this would be? They are supposed to be compatible with photoshop CS6 and upward, so I was amazed when they load.

• Sharpness brush setting to-100, the bits of the image unaffected.

  When I use the adjustment brush and set the sharpness all the way to the left (-100), the area affected by the brush strokes show small pieces of the image that don't appear to be affected. Ultimately the picture shows weird atrifacts research.

  Lightroom is sometimes also very slow. So Mutch that I have to stop working. I tried every bit of advice given in the FAQ. My computer, although its a reasonable specification, is a little older.

  Does anyone know where this behavior might come or what to do to fix this?

  IM on one machine windows, with Lightroom 5.7.1, while 64-bit, Intel Q6600 Quad Core and 8 GB of memory, a Samsung SSD.

• Why option + click on the tool brush sets a background color?

  First posted question at Adobe, so I hope it's in the right place.  I use CS5 and find that when I option-click when you use the Brush tool to select a color to brush, it sets this color as my background color.  I want to put it at the forefront (of course) so that I can immediately use the color I just chose without having to exchange the back to the front.

  I can't find a setting to change this occurrence.  Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

  Did you follow the FAQ as to change the ring of focus on the color scheme (Panel)? In CS5, it looks a little different, but should always be obvious that swatch (foreground or background) has the focus.

  I tried to stay in the Brush tool and click on the foreground color that opens the color palette.

  Opens the color picker, not color Panel (Palette). Go window > color to bring up the color Panel. Check that the ring is on the foreground swatch in the color Panel.

  Also, which version is your OS?

• Removal of brush sets

  Hello, I want to delete my brushes because I had too much of... I can't see all my preset list. I want to delete them from my list predefined because I already know how to remove them one by one... but when I remove them one by one, they are deleted from my list. If someone can please help me with this problem? I already tried to remove the map with brushes, but they are still there. I also tried with the uninstall, but who does not work either. If someone can please help me with this?

  Remove the brushes on my brushes card [does not work because I remove the brushes on my map. they remain on my list, and I can't charge more because I deleted them.]

  Select Load Brushes in this menu, it should open a dialog box where all brushes are saved. Just select the ones that you don't need and either cut and paste out of there, or simply delete them

  I just bought a new Artisul tablet. It works fine in Photoshop, not so much in Illustrator. When I try to create a new brush, of 'pressure' is greyed out. Here's what I've tried so far:

  (1) I have installed in the Tablet driver, shut down the computer, restarted the computer and re-installed the latest driver doesn't = no chance

  (2) I have Illustrator un0installed, shut down the computer, restart the computer and re-installed Illustrator = no chance

  (3) cursed aloud. A lot.

  (4) lost hours on the internet looking for a solution.

  (5) cursed even more.

  I guess there's nothing else I can do at this point.

  I remember someone with a similar problem installing drivers Wacom; the idea is to awaken something in Illustrator.or pressure.

  Although I'm getting old and could just as well have imagined it...

  Hi, when I updated to version box mine 6 to 6.1 little Lightroom disappeared in the adjustment brush: white, black and dehaze. How can I get this back? I used a lot in my edditing before and now miss me this important tool. Any advice?

  I need to use the brushes of border and that they won't charge. They are in the folder/Applications/Adobe Illustrator CS6/Presets.localized/en_US/Brushes. I am a CC Subscriber.

  The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can do that up to 3 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

  5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

  Even worse, you can:

  (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.

  I bought an action define Actions of yellow sky in July and had no problem loading in my 9 elements.  When I restarted my computer all my other actions were gone and the only ones I seem to have access to are YSA!  Help, please!  I need my old shares in return.  I selected "show all" under the effects tab and checked my file and all my actions always appear here?  I have attached some screenshots to show you what I mean.  I have no idea how to solve this problem and have to come sessions that I really need them for.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  I contacted YSA SEVERAL times and is unresponsive.

  If you have not already, remove the ThumbDatabase.db3 in

  C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\9.0

  and the MediaDatabase.db3 in

  C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\9.0\Locale\en_us

  and then start PES 9 and wait for the database to rebuild, effects which could take some time.
