  If the Z22 still works, the best way to transfer your data is for her beam to the M125.  At least, for the PIM of Palm of basic data (e.g., calendar, Contacts, memos, to-(tasks)).   On the Z22 in calendar, switch to the display of the day (not the order of the day).  In the menu, select the category of beam, choose the date range and select all from the drop-down list category.  Make sure that receiving IR is selected in the receiving device.  Align them face to face on one foot out and tap the beam.

  There is also an upgrade process where you can do this thru Palm Desktop when you switch devices.   But again because once you go towards the back to an older device, there are some compatibility issues with the applications, databases and files of the system, not to mention the questions according to what version you use Palm Desktop.

  We must believe the error message telling you that your hard drive is about to fail. If you are not technically proficient, take the machine to a local computer technician who will try to back up your data and then replace the hard drive. Do not use a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place. Otherwise, you may be able to get the data saved by one of the methods below and replace the hard drive yourself.

  I have a palm Z22.   I got it for several years.  Recently, I downloaded 6.2.

  When I hotsync, everything happens as it should, but it freezes on the synchronization of the agenda.

  Here's what happens in a second nano:

  I have exactly the problem you have described on my Centro.  Looking through the other posts, I found a suggestion to install a program on your handheld called dbfixit.  It's free on cnet.  When you run it, it will not correct the errors (at least the free version won't), but it will tell you what are the mistakes.  If you look at the errors, it will give the date of the registration.  I had a few old calendar entries that had been corrupted.  I deleted them and then the sync works perfectly.  I hope this helps.

  Thanks for the great suggestion.  Turns out I was able to borrow an old computer with Windows 98, synch and get the data out of the Palm VX  Then I exported the data and then imported it to my new computer.  Now, I find that the TX does not work with Vista 64 bit!

  I am posting this because I hade the same question. My database of the event proved to be HUGE. Since we decided that we didn't need the old data, I decided to find a way to purge some data.

  The sql query, I used is gross, but it worked. I'm not anything close to a person of sql query.

  Our database is called event so our table prefixes are v_ and you will need to change your settings.

  is what I use to get specify anything older then 30 days. You want to change it to match your desires of retention.

  I created a sql job to run this monthly to keep my size of database failure.

  I'm sure there are better ways to do it, but it's the best I could come up with in the 20 minutes of time I had to work on it.

• A Question about a manager of events & events prior to execution

  This problem came while maintaining an existing VI. If I was starting from scratch, I had the problem diffently approach. (Something I'll probably end up doing anyway).

  I have a 'Next' and a 'Cancel' button and I have a loop of events with cases of event of their change in value which put an end to the first loop. If the next button is True, flow loop produces another similar event with the case for the value events for these same buttons to change.

  So my question is when I hit the next button, while the first event loop was running and the other was not, the second event loop receives the event even if it was not exectuting at the time of this event? If she starts running immediately act on this event which took place before you start running?

  While I'm at it, is it possible to "empty" queue of the UI object before running an event loop? (I don't need to get detailed instructions, just point me to what I have to look it up).

  Duration:
  between 250ms and 500ms, so much is too long by far

  * Database 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.3.0) Standard Edition on Linux (OEL 5) x86_64
  * Usually, I have about 200 of these inserts in a single transaction. Thus, generally such a transaction is open for at least 50 seconds.
  * This is an OLTP environment, so I can't drop indexes or constraints 'before' loading, in fact I'm loading and reading the table all the time.
  * Insertion happens simultaneously by multiple Java threads, all in France via JDBC thin driver.
  * The table is not partitioned (Standard Edition).
  * The table contains < 7 million lines.
  * I can't ADD, because the table is served in a logical way, and I do not have maintenance windows to rearrange segments.
  * There are a lot of NON NULL and check constraints simple insertion-value based on the table, but only SINGLE (as part of the numeric primary key) constraint.
  A column is a CLOB, but there is no constraint on the CLOB column.
