  Thank you for bringing your question about Restrictions here in Apple Support communities. My understanding of your question is that you change the Restrictions, but no change is noticed. I tried the same on my iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 10 and noticed a similar situation. Please allow me the opportunity to explain how the Restrictions is designed to work. First, I put my limitations for applications, do not allow Apps and together 4 +, which basically means everything beyond 4 + will be blocked from buying. Then I went to the App Store and the first app that caught my attention was NCIS: hidden crimes. This app is rated 12 + and is definitely an application I would not want my toddler to help. It is that Restrictions come into play. When I type on NCIS: hidden Crimes, the Get option is grayed out. Restrictions does remove all apps, songs, books, etc. from view, but it will prevent the purchase, download, and install all applications rated above the setting you choose when you set up restrictions. It's the help article that discusses the Restrictions and prevent purchases: Use Restrictions in order to avoid buying on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

  I checked on the restrictions help articles, and I understand where it can be a bit confusing. In the help article Use Restrictions on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, it says "You can use Restrictions, also known as parental control, to block or limit specific applications and features on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch." This means in fact that apps, features or services (rated above that helped you, or if you have turned off completely) can he no longer appears on the device if the restriction is activated and starts blocking them. I also tested this by activating Restrictions and turned the cursor for Safari to off. When I went back to the home screen, Safari doesn't show any more and I could no longer use it.

  1. What is the name of the "new"?

  2. If you have installed a different antivirus program instead of renew Norton, you must remove COMPLETELY all components of Norton. Otherwise, the rest of Norton will create havoc on your computer. Uninstall through programs and features will not be enough. See Norton Removal Tool download link below.

  3. you noticed probably not when you had Norton. Norton have shut doen your Windows Defender anyway, because Norton has its own advocate, and there is no need of 2 defenders running on the same computer.

  1 are you facing issue while accessing Outlook 2010 links?

  2. are you referring to the webmail or Outlook 2010?

  I recommend you to check the updates are installed on your computer before this issue.

  I have a table on which I have access to two columns with limited success:

  sec_relevant_cols = > 'send an email, phone,

  Now when I query the table I see nulls for email and phone for only in the rows, while I see the actuals for the lines, I am allowed to see. It's big.

  My problem is that I can update these secure columns:

  Update the_table

  where [line which is limited to the current session]

  Now I select the line and I see still see null by the vpd auth function. However, as sys or another user who can see the line in question I see now that the email has actually been updated. That's my problem, I don't want a user who cannot see the restriction (email or Phanoe) column to be updated.

  Is there an option of CAE I'm missing here? I guess I can handle this via a trigger, but I was hoping vpd included such a feature. I don't see the value of data with success, but her masking to be updated...

  If anyone wants to play with this scenario, i.e. a complete example, with table ddl/inserts, package, definition of politics and, please let me know.

  An idea, just use two strategies. Some things to note: 1. they have of course the names of separate policy and 2. they use the same policy_function for auth because we limit the exact same lines. Result: for a line where you are limited the first policy you can't see the columns by e-mail or telephone, and politics of the second prevents you update these lines.

  I have some virtual machines using the player. Now I upgraded to the workstation and can open and run virtual machines created previously with the player. But I can't change any settings.   I got it: all files were writing attribute of file protect together. Don't ask me why and when this happened. Yes, now I know: I did this before the upgrade to Workstation to prevent update to delete my files. An error of type I/O (operator fool). Sorry for that.

  I saw this culture until recently. It's a bug in the view code PowerCLI whereby it keeps the values of tag for pools when they are modified. It is now followed by a solution, even if I have no details on when it will be released. The solution is to extract from the database of ADAM beforehand and restore them after the command manually.

Could someone help me how this can be achieved. While trying to create a tabular report if I give as view only; the user is unable to grasp the data itself.   Now, you can create a simple select statement

  C001 corresponding to the primary key that is inside your table and c002 the value you want to insert.

  You must update c001 with the primary key from the moment that the row will be exist. Then just decode function will display it so it is no longer editable.

  Add lines to the collection will add new lines to your tabular form. Clear lines of the collection deletes the lines in the tabular presentation.

  Updates, most is the MSI file. In all cases, you succeed to make manual updates of http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows. Download the most recent update (each update will tell you the necessary previous version where you can ignore some). Then perform updates in the order. Simply restart after the update is complete.

  I have some difficulty to find the best way to restrict permissions to change some fields of metadata for 2 different groups of users.
  
  I have two user groups, A and b. Group A will check in the documents that group B will then review for accuracy and quality. Group B will then update an optionlist field called "State" with "recommended" or "not recommended".
  This is not a situation of workflow as the scope requires that all documents are immediately available for research. I currently have a profile CheckIn and search for content to read write access for both groups A and B. The 'Status' field is hidden on the page of CheckIn. Can someone please suggest a good way to limit the 'Status' field on a page to update users to simply "B"? Groups A and B must be able to update all the fields except for the limited B field "Status".

  I understand in this way you have a profile for A and B groups of users. On this profile status field is hidden.

  If this is your problem, you can the two-step approach, while making the rule in order to hide the status field, use the activation of rule condition. Make active only for users with A role. This way even with the only profile some of the user with the role B will be able to see the status field.

  Alternatively, you can put a similar code to restrict the link of personalization where you make this hidden field editable and mandatory for users in B.
