  PROBLEM: My 8330 don't push my gmails on the phone. I get messages from 1 of 4 pushed towards the phone. I have re-sent service books, I deleted and added gmail to my bb (thru BIS). I deleted the gmail off my outloook as well from my PC.

  I downloaded GMAIL to Google blckberry and that works, but I like my gmail to combine in my Inbox.

  Support VERIZON was not able to solve this problem.

  In ADDITION the filter of gmail for duplicate messages does not work on my blackberry, which means that the messages I send on gmail.com or my BB back immediately as duplicates.

  I got 10 blackberry so I am not novice, Please HELP!

  I'll try what you did... entirely delete the account of the BIS Gmail account.

  - Then on your BB, Options > Advanced > Service books. Remove ALL instances of your Gmail email account there.

  -With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  -Then add the Gmail account to your configuration of BIS. And click on send Service directories while you're there.

  HOWEVER, I would do nothing of this earlier, as there are currently this morning a RIM BIS account integration power outage, or downtime. Wait a few hours until that which is cleared up.

• PRE 3 - using phone extensions for phone numbers

  Hi, I'm running a Pre3 unlocked AT & t on the Bell Canada Network and the only thing I found which range from the less on pre phone application is how are you going to enter the item numbers in the contacts application.

  With the Pre, I used p to indicate a break... hold position number would show on-screen but would not be triggered until I manually hit the number on the screen.  It was great to be able to call the office during the day (when the receptionist answers) and in the evening.  It also gives you a visual reminder so that you could ask receptionist name number rather than people of extension if you were not sure how it is pronounced.

  The Pre 3 uses a p in the phone number as a break and then automatically dials the extension number that undoubtedly angered some receptionists since I got the phone.  This function must be defined by a "t" on the pre less.

  Anyone know what to use to get the original back functionality where the extension number is shown on the screen but no composed automatically?

  Figured it out myself...

  'p' is now as a break (was "t", pre less 1.4.5)

  'w' is now as display extension (was 'p' on the Meadow less 1.4.5)

  Not sure why if it was modified HP would not use the standard of the industry 'x '.  Now edit the contacts of 1400.

• Palm Pre crazy symptoms: 'phone in offline mode', won't charge battery, won't start, message error "an error has occurred that cannot be resolved.

  This is a long description of a series of problems with my new Palm Pre. You can search text to find your specific problem. There is no solution in my post. Looking for possible answers in future responses.

  I bought my Palm Pre 4 days ago and it arrived 2 days ago. Phone was working fine. Last night I plugged the phone and updated the operating system. After, I've selected "Done" and went to bed.

  -First set of questions: 'Phone offline', will not charge battery.

  In the upper left corner of the phone, there is the message "phone offline. Although the phone was in charge all night, it reads "battery of 26%. I called the general number of on the Sprint tech support and we tried the following things:

  (1) the phone reboots (press on and hold the power button / stop, then select 'Disable'. After setting down, hold down power button / power stop.)

  (2) to reset the phone (several ways - call tech support so that you do this properly)

  The individual Sprint and then sent me to another tech support person, likely to level 2.

  -Second series of questions: message error "an error has occurred that cannot be resolved;

  #2 Sprint tech support person had me also to restart and reset the phone in a number of ways. In his own words 'we tried all the palm pre stuff I know' and whenever the phone was insensitive. Often, we received the message error "the phone is in offline mode. We did a full erase and after that the phone will not re-start is no longer. At this point, the error message came up saying "an error has occurred that cannot be resolved" that referred me to www.palm.com for assistance. I think it's important to note here that this was not the typical error message (black screen with white letters) but rather the blue sky with a translucent box on background with white text.

  #2 Sprint tech support person then me connected with the support of the Palm and the dance continued. Yet once, we tried a whole bunch of reset and restart and the erasure of the options. Palm support asked me to go to: www.palm.com/rom to download WebOS Doctor, which I did. I downloaded the file. Although that was the case he had hold the button "volume +" and connect the phone to the charger. This caused a USB symbol will appear on the phone. When the record was complete, I got an error message which could not run the file. Palm tech support person seemed surprised. I mentioned that I was on a Mac and he said he couldn't help me. He me transferred to another person from Palm support that works with Mac users.

  Palm #2 tech support person advised me that I should have selected the download option 'mac' on www.palm.com/rom. I verbally walked him through the series of Web pages, telling him it is said that you need Windows (any version) or Mac (whatever version), but that at no time was there a possibility to download another WebOS doctor for different operating systems. After an exchange of views over she told me that she would have to have someone call back me tomorrow.

  -Third series of questions: phone stuck on the USB symbol.

  So for the moment, the phone is completely useless. Not fantastic. I started the mac on Windows 7 and downloaded WebOS Doc and received the same error message. I also ran Windows Vista virtually and received the same error message. Later this afternoon, I head into work to try the same thing on Windows XP.

  In the meantime, I got on this forum and found a thread that has provided a direct link to the necessary file:

  After downloading this file, I realized could totally be a virus, I was able to get WebOS Doc work on my computer. It took that I recharge the phone before, and now it's on the screen that says 'do not disconnect your phone' and the full file of 3%. Only... it was completed for almost 30 minutes to 3%.

  I hope that Palm will follow-up with me tomorrow, but I'm leaving on a business trip at 7:00 and I would love to have the thing work. All suggestions are welcome, even if you can just tell me how to get her think disconnected safely before my flight tomorrow. I want to get through security with my phone plugged into my laptop.

  I picked up the phone at the local Sprint store and the sales ago replaced the phone. They were unable to understand what went wrong and, essentially, has declared a complete failure of the unit. I'm sorry that I'm not able to offer better news, but I hope that this info is useful to you.

• Why not find my pre-installed iPhone?

  My stepson 5 c IPhone was stolen yesterday (reported to the police and Verizon) and I was horrified to discover he couldn't get my iPhone installed. Is there a reason that it comes NOT pre-installed on phones? It seems obvious to me that it should be part of the standard operating system... it's a little more important than things like Apple health, Game Center, etc.. I'm really just wondering, because there is nothing we can do about it now but hope he gets picked up.

  Installation of the application has nothing to do with the activation of the service. This part is built in and is linked to the iCloud account. If he did not worth establishing iCloud on the phone, or if there refused AGFI activation over the phone when he put upward (the default is to turn it on), then there is no one to blame but himself for this.

  I want to buy the iPhone SE and do an Exchange with another phone. Can I pre-order this phone in the store the day of release (March 24,2016) and return to the store to pick up June 30.   Even when you use abbreviated, the user does not know if the call was launched.  After pressing the speed dial user must wait 10 seconds (with empty phone screen) for phone show the call on the phone and only after 10 seconds, the user gets information that the call is being tone and having the status of the call display - it's even more painful for them.

• Citing the phone dial pad does not always

  Hi all

  I need to call phone telephone keypad with number pre-filled, however Phone::requestDialpad does not always work. If the phone application has never been used for startup of the phone, then calling Phone::requestDialpad evokes it without switching to the keypad (if so I manually go, I can see it filled with the number, I have passed to requestDialpad). When I close the phone application and call Phone::requestDialpad from within my application again, everything starts to work - phone application appears and switches on the dial pad.

  Is this a known problem or I do something wrong? I have also reviewed as part of Invocaion, but the manual is not described anything to activate keypad - only for phone calls and showing the call log. Is there a MIME type or action to show just Dial Pad with pre-populated number?

Then when you need to restore these settings, you are supposed to do to change the MHT header to do something for her push the config on the phone...? Where can I find this please?

  You can extract the configuration by going to http:///admin/spacfg.xml and record in a file.

  To repel the config for the phone (you need a server tftp or other service to host the config. Personally, I use solarwinds tftp free server):

• Palm Pre - no response on receiving or making calls

  Hello, I'll have a problem, make and receive calls on my Palm Pre.  The phone rings during an incoming call, but when I answer, I don't hear anything.  The person on the other end can not hear anything.  Similarly, when I call the interface of a telephone make a call, it displays as connected call, but neither me nor the other person can't hear anything.

  Apart from this, the applications work correctly.  I tried to restart the phone and also to remove the battery and reboot, but it did not help.

  What if you use a wired headset? You will hear the calls?

  Could be the headphone jack stuck in mode "helmet" so the right question. Try to remove and insert the headset into the Jack several times and see if restore the sound.

  I'm not sure that there is a difference.  All Palm Pre and Pixi phones come in only one color: black.

• iPhone over Verizon's LTE 7 / coward calls problems

  I've recently upgraded from Android and buy my first iPhone. I like the phone, but it seems that the connection of data/LTE is horrible on the phone. I am constantly finding my phone is stuck on the 1 x or 3G connection and not being able to catch LTE in places I know are a LTE connection. In addition, sometimes my iPhone will drop calls. When I am I'm in my apartment, so I turned on wifi my component wifi works well, but other places, it deletes the call. Not sure if this is related to the issue of LTE connection. Does anyone else have this problem on Verizon?

  I'm in my Exchange/return policy so I don't know what I have to do.

  Have exactly the same problem: iPhone 7 more 256 GB Black Verizon. Pre-order the phone got on 21 September and after a few days without service drops to 3G and stays there until the toggle airplane mode or reset network. Went to Verizon 23 got a new SIM card and after a few hours, the problem came back. Next day went to Apple told them the problem they did exchange of unit that had to be ordered because he had no stock and 27, I got the replacement phone first day that it was quite good, but the second day, all the problems are back this time the phone has a whistle as well... so on September 30 , brought the phone to apple as well as the box and they said they can get a me another replacement and I refused it not knowing not if its released State and requested a refund, but Engineering did not repay because the serial number is different from the box. Fortunately, I chatted with Apple the previous day and received the email and talked to the Manager and eventually returned the device.

  Back to my iPhone 6s now and no problems with the service even with VoLTE on. Don't miss the iPhone 7 more size and stereo speakers, but I'll wait until all the bugs and hardware issues are fixed before ordering again!

  I had an iPhone 5, 5s, 6: 6 without any problems until one. I returned mine because they gave me a replacement not retail box with the same question. I want to keep the phone but has returned to be sure whether a hardware problem is present they will fix it on the line, so I'm going to order a new one.

• Restore a malfunction

  About two weeks ago my phone turns off randomly. I could not turn it back on during a day. So, I decided to restart the phone using the trick House and key lock (pushing down both). The phone told me to connect it to iTunes. So I did and things were going to turn on and off randomly, with the flashing Apple on and off the screen. After about a day to leave, he turned his back, all of a sudden and I called Apple immediately. They helped me restore my phone and update it. For about a week, it was quite good.

  Then he continued with the random restarts. This week, he started to act weird it would randomly increase the volume, or turn off silent. The home button works as well at all. I have to push on it about 5 times before answering the phone. My contact ID does not work either. And wifi is not lit. The button on the phone is obscured and is not able to be in a hurry. Yesterday, he would have to phase in and out of servicem, passing of LTE 4 g at 1 x, then no. Last night, I had no service. This morning it won't turn.

  So, I'm pretty frustrated now.

  Any advice? I'm running out of options. I can't really go into a Genius Bar because I'm at school and can't really leave. In addition, the closest is quite a ways away.
