It's pretty funny but frustrating that my Gmail account works best in the Mail application that my account Outlook.com. Pushing, or "as items arrive", does not work in the messaging app for my Outlook.com account. But it works very well for my Gmail account that is configured in the mail.

Why is this and how to fix?

Initially, make sure that the synchronization is correctly set in Outlook.com settings in the mail application.

(a) open the mail application, select Outlook.com and press the Windows key + C at the same time.

(b), select settings and press Outlook.com account.

(c) ensure that this connection to sync Email option is checked

  • Many issues of JavaFX pushed out of JavaFX 8 (to 9) today

    I received a bunch of emails today from Jira as Kevin Rushforth sorted many issues of JavaFX Runtime on JavaFX 8. I read in the openjfx-dev Archives and didn't see all announced plans for a major effort to triage or how to react if your issue is taken out of the release.

    Some of these issues are regressions introduced in JavaFX 8 and other important bugs in need of my company and our customer resolved in JavaFX 8.

    Here are the main issues that I'd like to see fixed in JavaFX 8 which have been sorted for JavaFX 9 today:

    Hi all

    I am an engineer of the JavaFX team, and I thought I would just clarify some things. First of all, we are now in slowing down for Java / JavaFX 8.0. This means we are (and were) actively mobile work low priority of this version and he retargeting to 9.0. Right now we are working only on what we call bugs P1 - P3 (or, in terms of Jira, showstopper, critic and major bugs), and in fact we are also pushing too many major bugs of 8.0.

    It of not because we appreciate your bug reports or think within you as a human being - is that we are working on a schedule and the train 8.0 approximates when leaving the station, and we need to do about it. It forces us to get our real bugs in version 8.0 of zero, which requires that the Reports that you see now is happening. And, to be clear, we believe that the community of JavaFX is wonderful ;-)

    It is very important to understand that just because we are retargeting our work in 9.0 does not mean that these bugs are fixed until whenever that 9.0 is out! 8.0 is the door (well, once we stop working on it, because there is a long period between the engineers stopping the major part of their work of 8.0 and 8.0 release really out) we all fully assess our arrears and target many of these bugs for provisional 8.x versions. This means that a lot of these bugs will be fixed next year in follow-up releases to 8.0, as we did with follow-up releases in JavaFX 2.x.

    So, in other words, targeting to 9.0 is a reserved space to tell us "some out in the future." You can of course leave comments for us to understand the importance of your favorite bugs (and I encourage you to do so and also to vote). Unless we hear from the community about the bugs that are important to them, they tend to get a priority by engineers based on their own opinions, which isn't necessarily we show the complete picture.

    Comment by KonradZuse about 9 and "Van Ness' answer: we did call the 'Van Ness' project in jira for some time, but we had people complain (on openjfx-dev I think) that Van Ness was meaningless, if we changed our jira instead simply use the version numbers, therefore , 8u5, 8u20, 9, etc. For all purposes, 'Van Ness' was a nebulous expression means "some futures of output", so basically we tightened our definitions a bit by dividing Van Ness in several versions, now.

    I hope this helps to clarify some things. In short, we are working as hard as we can and you absolutely want to keep you happy. Hop on to jira and leave the bug reports or comments on bug reports. Do not rely on the comments left in these forums to necessarily reach the engineers responsible for bugs - go to them through jira.

  • Details of issue for the browser push

    I would like to send push requests to my users to refresh their page or notify them to do a refresh.  Should what type of button I use?  How push notifications behave if the user is currently in the web page?

    Internal (BES) or external (BIS)?  Since it is the browser, you do not want to use a channel of the browser for BES users or a signal of web for BIS users.

    Nothing special happen if the user is already on the page. Push all would do them is to warn that there is a new page, not to refresh the current page in the browser.

    You could push a Java application and launch the browser when new content is available, but it would be boring if the user was in something else at the time.

    I was sitting on my bed, when it hit me, is it possible to push a screen outside of the application.

    So I discovered on the global screens and pushing them. However. Suppose I want to dismiss the screen right now, but I wish instead of opening another application and return to it later. Is it possible to pushGlobalScreen, or I should do otherwise. If other, then suggestions?

    1 - click download is "pushed" into its own tab whenever I start Firefox. I am responsible to stop smoking "Firefox start" unless it can be stopped. The message is equivalent to, Oh boy! Here's the biggest news on the Earth:

    I don't want or any other nonsense to me, Firefox compatible 22 sales or NOT.
    WHAT does take (not to mention that switching to Safari or Chrome) FOR STOP THIS?

    Why do you have installed the addon then? Contact the developers of the addon on this issue. Also to create a new profile, if the new profile does transfer of the old stuff (if you wish).

  • Is there a known issue with Firefox 21 and Citrix ICA Client?

    After the upgrade to FireFox 21 my browser can no longer detect that I installed the Citrix ICA Client and he pushes me whenever I try to run a file from the internet .ica. After several facilities of the ICA Client to the guests, including the uninstall completely and then put it back, I ignored the prompt and tried to launch the .ica file. It will launch 1 single .ica window regardless of the number of .ica files I click on. (Firefox 20 would allow me to run several sessions citrix both.)     Hello Souldysfunction, please try this: enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & search for the preference named plugins.load_appdir_plugins.   • Software update service: push updates to clients

    Hi all

    I just set up OS X 5.0 for the first time, so it is all quite new to me. Is it possible to get the OS updates from the server to clients registered? I read about the differences between the update server and software of caching, and since you can't run both at the same time and think the update service is more convenient if we consider only provide updates to OS X clients. My understanding is that users must apply the update on the app store, but is it possible to push updates to clients instead? Even a command would be useful, so I can run remote commands from the terminal on any client, but really, I'm open to any suggestion.

    Welcome to the forums.

    So, there's two ways to look at this issue.  You can "push" updates to customers or you can tell customers to "pull" updates.  Let's look at a few options.

    If you go the mentality of 'push', you must visit the Apple website and download individual installers or use a master machine to pull updates from the App Store.  Then, you can use tools from the Apple Remote Desktop to JAMF to deliver these updates for client devices.  It can exercise a level of control that determine only you, the doorman, where the devices are updated.  However, several updates require reboots if you need to be selective in your calendar, because you don't want to pull the rug out from under a user.  In addition, pushing updates to date still require local execution of the installation program.  If you do not have a command on all devices administrator account, you will not be able to allow installation.

    Now, you can also "pull" updates.  Indeed, this is what happens when you run the software update manually.  Ah, but there are options that you have found.  You can just pull everything Apple, but if you have a slow Internet connection and a lot of features, you can paralyze you.  You can deploy the software update server, but then you get everything from Apple for the past 8 years, that 90% you do not want.  Oh, and the software update server means that you need to customize each device with custom update path.  If you deploy portable computers, which means that they must be on your local network to get updates because the substitution is supported by a URL.  The last method is through caching server.  Caching server requires no customization of the client side and puts in cache only what you ask.  The first device application will require a download to Apple, but all subsequent devices can pull out of your cache server.  Very effective.

    So, you decide to enable a client 'pull' and realize that the caching server is probably the best way to do it.  Ah, but you still don't want to visit all the machines.  You can use the softwareupdate command-line tool to perform an audit of software across the entire fleet (softwareupdate man for more details).  For example, let's say you have 10 machines and you have Apple Remote Desktop.  You can send a Unix command for all 10 machines such as: softwareupdate-i - a

    That command will tell each machine to install (-i) all (-a) updates available.  You can also target specific updates so if you need to be selective (Apple released iTunes and an updated OS the same day and you don't want to push iTunes until you post the update of the OS for example).  softwareupdate-i NameOfiTunesUpdate.pkg.

  • How can I restore graphic Google, which I removed a few months when they tried to push the images?

  • Qosmio F60 - HDD and BIOS issues

    I have a Qosmio F60. 1 months since purchase, and I'm having problems. I organize my questions for a better look.

    (1) if there is a new BIOS update, should I put to update mine? Mine is currently on 2.10, and the last is 2.50! And I know the change log, because I can't find it anywhere. : S

    (2) if I'm in the MBR, where there are two options (Windows 7, Ubuntu Linux) and I press the ESC key. The screen goes black, and the laptop fan is running at full speed noisy. The same thing happens if I reboot/hibernate Ubuntu. Also, this sometimes happen to the instance that I push the power button to turn on the PC, but this is rare.

    (3) my HARD drive creates serious noise. I think that all hard drives have, but I have to check if it is safe, and what could be the cause. The sound is little consecutive cracks when the HARD drive is reading.

    (4) the BIOS I found (2.50) is for the model no: PQF65-E, while mine is PQF65-L. I ran the .exe, and he identified my current BIOS without any compatibility issues. Although I don't actually flashed the BIOS, because I want to question 1) answered first.

    Well, if you have problems, then an update of the BIOS can be useful.

    Sorry mate, but as I know Linux is not supported by Toshiba. So I can't say about concerns generally Linux could react a little bit different as a windows OS and of course the cooling modules could run differently also.

    In your case I would always back up data on another HARD drive or a disk to be always on the safe side.
    I mean the HARD drive can still die and it s better to have backups of backup.

  • Satellite L50 - B - 21 G: abandon WLan connection / power issue

    I bought my laptop about six weeks ago and its driving me crazy. I could be sitting with him and suddenly I lose the internet connection, I try to reconnect, but cannot as he seems to have "abandoned" the Broadcom 802.11n network adapter. I'm not very irritable but sees someone else has had this problem and follow a few instructions to restore the previous driver for the network adapter, but it just made things worse.

Y at - there someone who can give me a number for Toshiba that I can call for help if I need help more than anybody can give me here? Thank you.

    Reach:
    Windows power options - choose the right central - advanced power options.
    Search of the WLan card settings and set it to "best performance".
    You must also set the parameters for the PCI express for the 'best performance '.

    In addition, go to the Device Manager. Choose here the Wlan card properties
    Switch to the last tab called "Power Management" and make sure that the option available in this tab is not checked!

  • HP Envy TS m6-k015dx: HP Envy Bluetooth Windows 10 connectivity issues

    I've upgraded to Windows 10 recently (even if she will be as a downgrade) and have experienced problems with the wireless and bluetooth connectivity. specifically, I can't keep a solid connection on any wireless network while my bluetooth is turned on.

    If you're still having problems, try to use back to a previous generation option, in your system settings: HP Notebook PC - upgrade to Windows 10

    Remember that this feature is available only for 28 days, after the installation of Windows 10.  I hope this helps.

  • Issues and battery drain (iPhone 6s)

    I just got a new iPhone 6 s like 2 weeks ago, and I feel the heat very boring and drainage issues.  Then when my phone is not in use it heats just for no reason I off gps, I'm not in hot conditions, nothing works in the background, push email is turned off and most of my view is disabled.  I'm suppose to have 10 hours of normal internet surfing but I have only 2-3 hours, I have a blocker of advertising that is supposed to give me a greater autonomy and I don't watch the videos, I'm just reading normal items on the internet.

  • Wireless - Satelite L850 issue

    The computer detects Wifi (Netgear N600) but won't connect - troubleshoot invites you to enable/disable the modem. What I have found to work is to use the function of the WPS - push button on both button and it connects. Problem is when I restart it, it does not connect to the WIFI (even troubleshoot the above suggestion)

    A real pain to push the WPS button connect every time turn on computer - I have the box checked for it to connect to the wifi detection but it just doesn't work! Why it will connect when I do the WPS button method, but not if I get the password?

    To be honest I m no owner of a router that would support this kind of functionality so can't share an experience with you, but from my point of view, it looks like a router issue and not as a problem card WLan.

    Are you able to connect your laptop to an another Wlan in your environment?

    Maybe you should check the manual or your router and must disable the WPS in orer to see if its possible to connect laptop to your router
    You could also test the open WLAN connection, but this should only be done for testing purposes
