  This week I lost one of my drives HARD 6 in my StorCenter px6 - 300 d. He just died because a Seagate Barracuda firmware bug.

  First... I have the warranty until 10/2015, but I'm not able to solve this problem with Lenovo support to the Brazil. (BIG PROBLEM)

  Second... To be sure that my data is more safe, I just brought a new HDD (same model as the one lost) and added to my StorCenter px6 - 300 d. I received a message that the new HARD drive should be 'formatted' to rebuild the RAID. It has RAID 6 with total 6 x 2 TB HARD drive. However, it is for 2 days of work (flashing bright white) and display will show 0% done. I am not able to access web interface NAS, or anything like that.

  My px6 - 300 d seems to be churning, the hard drive light is darn near all of the time, I know that it is not locked on because only it twinkle from time to time, but not often, and I can feel the vibrating drives furiously. Is there a software or back door to give the visibility regarding if it is reconstruction or check if I can see what is happening?

  Since the weekend, our px6 - 300 d seem to have a problem because I can not access it via the web console and Windows... So, I have to restart with the power button. But now, when it starts, it remains at 95% for hours and I can't access...

  They were not all the errors on the discs.

  Do someone has an idea of what's going on?

  Hi osimonazzi,

  Try to start the device without the attached network cable. When it reaches 75% then re - attach the network cable.

  If this does not work you can try operating the restraint system and reseating the HDDs.

  Is - this device still in warranty?

  I have (or had) Pavilion d4999t-2 - KT82AV #ABA product number. The motherboard is toast.  Can I retrieve my files from the double Raid drives?  It had been a while since I've done a backup file. (Yes, I was a lazy boy).  I know there are companies that can do but $ 800.00 min is a lot to pay.

  How did you come to the conclusion that your motherboard is toast?

  If you disconnect the SATA drive connectors hard and any other external device except a keyboard and video output and then it turns on, what is she doing?

  You must have a motherboard that was identical in all respects to recover a RAID set or pass (as you now now) crazy amounts of $$. Even with an identical motherboard (storage controller identical Intel and chipset) the RAID set may not be recoverable. You can not move readers to another motherboard and wait for everything to be good again. RAID is a special case and it simply does not work out like that.  If the RAID set has been the RAID 0 then the data are spread over two discs. This means no redundancy. When a drive goes down your data has disappeared. If the drive was RAID 1, then replace the failed disk can be done. The RAID set can be re-created by the Intel Matrix storage software solution.

  Here is a Wikipedia article that has a reasonable explanation of the many types of RAID and their advantages and disadvantages.  The acronym RAID means redundant inexpensive disk array. Redundancy in Information technology is the "repetition of critical elements" or functions of a system with the intent to increase the reliability of the system, usually in the case of a backup or fail-safe.

  There is a newer version of the firmware. I recommend updating to the latest version to see if the problem persists.

  Even if double-sided printing is NOT selected in the printer properties, printing all ask for double-sided printing.  So if I go to print a single page printjob, the computer asks to have the blank page that was 'printed' just to get back in the tray.

  Welcome to the HP Support forum.

  I understand that you use a HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer with a Windows 10 computer and when you try to print a single page, the printer ejects a blank page and ten invites you to put in the tray, so the second side can be printed, even if double-sided printing is not selected. I would like to help with that.

  This really looks like a software problem. I would like to start by running this HP print and Scan Doctor. It is a tool that allows you to diagnose and solve the problems of printing software and printer.

  Source_name is my group of field & as mentioned, it works very well to the developer reports & TOAD, so I can't understand why the GUI is having a problem. The GUI uses some features to export the data to Excel.
