  Another thing to watch, would be what battery is used.  I know from personal exp some devices work with Toshiba stack, vs the MSFT pile up.  Do a search and see if anyone else uses a different battery with these devices. • Socket connection does not work with SIM network

  Hi all

  I created a socket connection. It works fine when I use the WiFi and iam able to download the data and get a correct answer successfully.   But when I use the network GPRS/SIM I get "Unauthorized response" as an answer. I already check with the default blackberry, here internet browser works very well.

  Can someone tell me why socket connection does not work when I use the SIM card network.

  If anyone knows about internal or the following BlackBerry setting that also tell me

  "Option-> advanced-> TCP Option.

• Satellite L30: WiFi connection does not work with wanadoo box

  I bought a L30 for my daughter for Christmas and wants all ready to go on the day, so have tried to connect to my wanadoo wireless & talk.

  Unfortunately, the laptop wireless card doesn't seem to work. He acknowledges the wanadoo box and tries to connect, but when I enter the WEP key, it searches the network for a few minutes then returns to the "If you want to connect to this network, select 'connect' page."

  I took the adapter wireless to my PC, connected to the laptop, loaded the software wanadoo wireless and connected to the Internet wireless with no problem at all. The problem seems to be with the connection itself - as the laptop detects the wireless network very easily, it just cannot connect.

  I'm not an expert and do not want to 'break' the Christmas gift from my daughter. It is too late to guarantee a replacement arrived, I have to go out & buy a wireless adapter, but deliberately, I bought a laptop with wi - fi, if deeply resent what of not working. I feel so stupid.

  Sometimes it of not possible to connect the wireless network adapter to the router because of the compatibility.
  I have a similar problem with my second notebook at home. The card is compatible with A and B WLan standard but the router support B and G.
  The WLan card is not able to connect to my router.

  However, I think that if the laptop recognizes your wireless LAN, it should be able to connect it. You can try to update the WLan driver and additional test with encryption settings disabled.

  Today, I tried to establish an FTP connection to the serveradress "ftp.mobelverwandlung.com", but I get the error message that the program could not connect to host. Dreamweaver works perfectly with the other serveradresses and I managed to connect to "ftp.mobelverwandlung.com" with other programs, I think the problem is the German 'Umlaut' 'o'.   ICH hab ' evil bei meinem provider nachgesehen. Ublicherweise muss man sleeps die ursprungliche für die Zeit Vergleichen und eine neue vereinbaren minutes field. However show sie sich kulant EIB so kurzen "Laufzeiten" von ein paar Stunden wie bei dir. Versuche den Support Deines Providers by Telefon zu Berge.

  What model of laptop do you have? Do you use the laptop with the original operating system preinstalled?

  Open Device Manager and check if the LAN CSA is listed and enabled correctly.

  Go to mobile network settings and search again for the 3G network.
  I had a similar problem with my Android Smartphone and my o2 provider
  I started to search for new, so I chose the O2 again and then I could solve the problem.

  In the case where this does not work for you, recommend you to reset the default Tablet (factory settings)

  I would say it is not a Vista problem or a Realtek driver problem because I have a Vista and Realtek WLan card and I can connect properly to my router.
  In you case, I would say that there is a compatibility problem between the router and the Vista because as you said the laptop can connect properly using Linux.

  I have goggled a bit and could solve most of the people who have had this issue, update the firmware on the router s.

  Maybe you should try that too.
