After a new trial, I added my NETGEAR FS105 switch between the FIOS router and my PC 2 and SBS. Result - conflict of addresses of servers.

  Your only option is to do a clean install of Vista.  There is no free, download of the disk.  Contact the manufacturer of the computer and they may be willing to sell you a set of recovery disks to reinstall the system (but you will need 23 digit product key to activate it in all probability even if sometimes it is not necessary when it is made with recovery on the same computer discs).

  Paste these files in the same location in the C drive of the problematic computer.
