  What are the CPU temperatures you saw?  I recommend a free utility called CoreTemp.

• MacBook pro 2015 Diode, heating problems

• MacBook pro 15 "heating problem

  My MacBook Pro that I bought in early 2015, has recently started abnormally warm under normal workload.

  I started facing this problem last month. Is what I run Firefox, watching videos on YouTube. Within a few minutes, the fan starts and the bottom heats up to an unbearable temperature.

  This is the big one. I'm used to having the page move down with my fingers while two fingers to scroll, but the direction of travel is reversed by default with coasting trade licence.   After a lot of frustration, for the past few weeks my touchpad has been behaving satisfactorily. Here's what I've done, maybe it will help someone else here who has the same problem:

  • Make sure the driver is updated to 192.0.12.107
  • Go to Device Manager, open the properties of the mouse and click on 'Update device driver.
  • In the wizard that opens, click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
  • Then select "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
  • In the next window, uncheck "See list of compatible hardware" and search for and select "Synaptics Clickpad SMBus"
  • Install and reboot the computer

  Windows installs the driver Synaptics Touchpad of SMBus by default, which leads to the scrolling issues I was experiencing. The pilot clickpad works much better. I don't know how the two drivers are different, but it worked for me

• Satellite P100-307 - massive heat problem, keypad heater

  Had my Satellite P100-307 for almost two years now and it's a good and useful media-notebook, but it never HOT side left keyboard, especially games.

  But in recent weeks, the keyboard is pretty HOT and I don't know why! Because I6vgt ´m using only low level applications.

  I did a full restore to clean any virus or other malware, but it continues to get hot, as if I where in the highest graphics modes, the games, but just I m using IE7 and a LateX editor for the creation of PDF Documents - that s nothing for a dual-core processor!   Looks like the laptop is overheated, it is a common problem with laptops that are used in a dusty environment (a room with carpet, for example).

  Buy compressed air in a box and spray it in the vents to remove dust.

  Satellite A105-s4344 stops after EXACTLY 60 seconds. The mobo was removed from bevels and all devices removed unnecessary (DVD, HDD, WiFI etc.). Swapped CPU and RAM with those well known. AC adapter / CC exchanged and battery by the well known. Does the same on the AC or DC inputs only.

  I have not yet flashed the BIOS (at 60 seconds, that would be silly). But, I'm looking to replace or flashing with an EEPROM burner. Currently has V 2.0

  I don't know what heat genration detection using this system, but it is a possible cause if it is one of the later generations (visit http://www.topbits.com/how-to-monitor-cpu-temperature.html if you don't know that I'm referring to).

  Before reballing North and South of the bridge and flashing, I thought that I would get feedback from you folks. Just to cover all bases ;)

  I'm not a technician but this is just my opinion on all of this. The fact is that after your laptop on CPU switch in seconds only reaches very high temperatures. You can turn on your laptop and just enter the BIOS settings and the same should happen again.

  I can't say for sure if it's 100% thermal or not question but what else can be responsible for decommissioning? CPU will be warm in just a few seconds. Significant change structure with temperature change and I can only imagine a contact will be interrupted.

  On this forum, we have had many reports similar as when portable cold starts and works well, but after that little time is off without reason. Maybe I'm wrong, but to me it sounds like heat or deliver bad contacts. Let's see what other people have to say about it.

• Heating problems Strain Gage; Wait for the function measurement of delay

  I am able (using four 350 ohm gauges) of the strain using a NI 9237 module with a cDAQ in connection Full deck Type 3. My test is to measure the strain over long periods of time (~ 10 days). The NI 9237 measure strain at a rate of 2000 Hz (this is the slowest rate). The wheatstone bridge is currently powerd with the NI 9237 of 2.5 V. When I get my data permanently, I see the strain increases with time (which it shouldn't do my test), and I suspect it's because of free heating strain gauges. So, to overcome this problem, I think using "Wait (ms)" and ask the program to obtain data once every 5 min. Five minutes should be more than enough to dissipate any overheating of the gauge.

  My question is: if I use the function 'wait (ms)', is my sensor (extensometer) are constantly under tension during the time-out of 5 minutes? I think that the functions "queue" are used inside a loop to allow a VI to sleep during the prescribed period (correct me if I'm wrong). So, it means that the sensor is not powered during this time?

  I wouldn't use "wait" function for your timing... software you can use the time elapsed or other timing functions

The problem is while I'm games (grid 2, assassin creed 4, latest games, etc.) my CPU temperature is somewhere about 80 degrees celsius and my GPU (ati radeon hd 8750M 2 GB) rises above 87-93 degrees celsius.

  I want to ask if these temperatures are normal? I bought this phone 6 months ago... .No dust inside, no dust blocks out of the chimneys. The heat apears only when I'm kid inactive .in or the temp of navigation is about 46 to 50 degrees celsius.

• Acer w3-810: heating problem & touch stops working after a while.

  1 year warranty, 810, Acer w3 expired, the Tablet is showing heating questions now, close the camera back and after a while to the touch stops working, touch works fine on reboot and compressed is cold. When the Tablet is connected to a network to the touch stopped working earlier than when not connected.

  to solve this problem:-J' I reset the windows. which increased the length of time in which the touch works but always to the touch stops working after a while.
