I agree with Jim Hess and al., drag / drop are an easy way to screw up your organization. Importing is a much more organized way to manage things. There are a lot of tutorial vid3os on import.

  Have you checked the Realtek HD Audio Manager in the control panel?

  I think that you don t have to reconfigure the keys, you just need new version of Toshiba Value added Package which controls the multimedia keys.

  I checked the website of Toshiba Qosmio G40 and Windows 7 and there is a newer version that is compatible with Windows 7:

  Windows:

  1. Open Adobe Digital Editions.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + D to Deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.
  3. Select clear authorization.
  4. Click OK and exit the Adobe Digital Editions software.

  Macintosh:

  1. exit the Adobe Digital Editions software.
  2. Navigate to / Users / / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.
     If you use 10.7, see library access hidden files. Mac OS 10.7 and later.
  3. Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.

  I don't know what you mean when you say "the Master disc. Do you mean a diskette that has Vista boot, loading files?

  I m not 100% sure, but I guess that it of not possible to change (increase) the registration area.
  As I know the Qosmio player has been installed on an extra partition and files saved will be stored on that partition.

  Eventually, you will get a larger areas recorded if you increase the size of partition Qosmio Player. But this is only a suggestion.

• Qosmio G40: How to get the sound on 4 speakers rear

  Here's the thing, 3 days ago, I bought the G40 model. I needed a laptop on which I can work with Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel Draw.

  When I bought it, I went on site update from toshiba to see what is new and what I need to be updated. Afterwards, I checked on a few other sites of manufacturers (realtek, nVidia, etc.) which is new, because they get the first pilots.

  I noticed that there is a new driver for sound card for this computer so I decided to donwnload it and run the drivers. Everything went well, but after installation I lost the option DolbySurround and instead of all 4 bass speakers, only 2 speakers worked so I decided its better to revisit the original Toshiba drivers.

  After that I downloaded the drivers from the Toshiba site, installed and put to day all, I noticed that the software for audio, downloaded from Toshiba site has no dolbysurround option. Help, please!

  Secondly, I also removed the TOSHIBA accessibility option, which is to control the 'F' keys After that, I can't turn the Touchpad mouse. Help, please? Ideas, suggestions?

  I would recommend to restore the operating system to the point of time at the beginning. Use the tool from Microsoft called system restore.
  Eventually, you know this tool since the MS XP OS.
  You should find somewhere in accessories.

  If this procedure is not enough, you could use the Toshiba Recovery CD and could reinstall the whole OS!
  But before you make the installation of the recovery CD don t forget to back up your important data! ;)

• AVCHD - how to retrieve and record separate clips?

  My first go with AVCHD, which I don't know anything about except that after having bought a beautiful new Sony video camera I did on my first try, a single file called AVCHD, even though I've taken several separate clips. When I click on this file on my computer, it opens and displays thumbnails of each of the separate clips. When I click on one of the clips that it opens in QuickTime and here I can export the file to save it as a separate sequence on my computer.

  Is there an easier way to batch save clips separated or do I need to go through this process of opening each separately in QuickTime and exporting to save him?

  Ok.

  Mac OS recently mucked this upward.  He no longer sees the correctly as a bunch of files in the form of files (like any good manager should), it seems more like a package of QuickTime.  There are "open package" as it was to get the files inside.

  I think it's strange because I have 4 speakers (2 on console, 2 in the screen) and subwoofer. I have other options? (i.e. 5.1?)

  When I first installed this laptop (about 6 weeks ago), that I remember that I could choose 5.1 (but I may be wrong).

  I don't know if you would be able to choose a different configuration of m stereo speaker.
  The point is that most laptops are equipped with 2 stereo speakers, and to be honest I didn't see another stereo audio option in the sound settings.

  As I m not wrong not you should have two different audio options in the control panel. Realtek HD audio manager and sound.

  You should first check the configuration of the sound.

  Hi everyone, am always lift start 50-50 with webcam when using messenger, even with the tv tuner off. Also get the laptop mystery don't turn on in battery mode, which is cured by reinstalling the battery. Toshiba has indicated that its been to the workshops.

  I read many comments on webcam problems run the Microsoft messenger. Only this Messenger made a few worries and is not entirely supported by the driver for the webcam.

  My team is using RoboHelp6 and Version control on TFS (Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Explorer and Source Control Explorer).  We are looking for the right way to load a new project and the right way to get the team in harmony with the project. The process we have used to date is as follows:

  The head of the team takes the existing project and load into a local folder that is the local folder to be used by the control of Source of TFS. The head of the team opens the project through RoboHelp and then made a backup of all and generates a main page layout. The Leqader team uses then add it to Source code control option to add the project of TFS Source control. The members of the team and then create a local folder for use with the control of Source of TFS and team leader sends a complete project of its local folder and which is copied to the local folder. Member of the team then open RoboHelp and using Version control options to bind TFS (Team Foundation Server) and the Source code control folder where the project is located. The team members should now be able to edit the project.

  With RSC, there are a couple of tweaks to the procedure, as follows. TFS may work the same way.

  Before the authors try to open the project, they should make their initial connection to the db by RSC. All they need do is open the RSC Explorer, connect to the project and then close RSC. After that, they should be able to simply open the project in HR and have it connect on its own. (When they start with a copy of the project files, it does this a little simpler words. The project will immediately try to make the connection to source control).

  I recently bought a 10th G40 and I was wondering how to set up dual Tv Tuner in Windows media Center to watch and record the Tv at the same time.
  I tried to download the new driver from the Toshiba download page, but it seems to make no difference that Media Center does not give me the ability to configure 2 tuners.

  So in my opinion, you cannot record TV and watch another channel at the same time using only the internal TV tuner.
