Question of sensitivity magic mouse

Hello

I have a few problems with my Magic Mouse since the last update OS (Sierra).
When I'm using programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, it became almost impossible to zoom with precision.
My screen will zoom 500% with the slightest movement of the finger.
I move not even my finger, just move the pressure of my finger tip point.

This was not the case in El Capitan.
Really hope that this bug gets fixed because it makes these very frustrating easy tasks.

Since I'm on multiple Adobe programs professionally, I have this problem too in the Sierra.

It helped me to slow down a little zoom: double click on Adjust and scrolling speed of your mouse or trackpad - Apple Support

Unfortunately, it is still not as good as he was at El Capitan. I really hope that Apple will fix this bug as soon as possible.

  • Apple Magic Mouse question and Magic Keyboard 2 battery

I have an iMac end of 2015 for Christmas and it came with the Apple Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Keyboard 2 I was wondering why I can see the State of my mouse, but I do not see the status of the battery on my keyboard?  Also, as of today, I had the computer for more than a month and have never had to recharge the keyboard or the mouse.  Now, my mouse is 17% but I did see battery messages and since I can't seem to get the status of the keyboard I think that I shall never see he or she only turns on when low.  The computer came preloaded with Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and I have the latest update.  I've seen another post here batteries but they were old of machines to replace the batteries.  Anyone with any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Magic Mouse 2 keeps losing connection

Hi, I use an iMac nine 5 k, v10.11.5 El Capitan

Whenever I use the mouse will randomly lose connection for about 5-10 seconds and then reconnect. It also happens with the keyboard sometimes. More than 90% battery levels

Can I do about it? It really disrupts my workflow.

    Thank you

    Hello miles M.

I'll try to answer your question, but I'll have to make some assumptions.   Unlike many, you have correctly filled out your profile and it helps.

For example;  I see that in addition to the MacBook Pro (running El Cap), you have an iMac (running El Cap) and a Yosemite iMac running.   They are all in the same room a lot of the time, like when your problem occurs?   Then, the mice.   At least one must be Magic Mouse 2, but it will be Magic Mouse 1.   They are close together?   If one of the above is true, it is most likely that you have an interference problem.   And where the mouse is the problem my assumption is the Magic Mouse 2.

The first thing to do is to try to isolate the Magic Mouse the part 1.   Turn off the iMac of Yosemite loaded, remove any tablets Wacom and pens and other and tested of the Magic Mouse 2 with the new iMac.

Now, my imagination is not exact, so where things are differently, let me know so that we can talk our way through it.

  • Magic Mouse 2 connect only with basic functions

I bought a new mouse Magic 2 within 5 years, one packed and thought the option cooldown better to replace the batteries. He connects to his macbook with bluetooth fine but only has the basic movement and click functions, properties of the mouse only shows base none of the magic mouse functions. I connect to my macbook, and all right, slide, tap twice etc. Question is how to operate on the other macbook when its old mouse was working well until he fell.

The other Macbook on El Capitan, the Magic Mouse 2 is compatible with El Capitan and beyond.

I have an iMac nine of the end of 2015. Y at - it recommendations to maintain in good condition the keyboard mouse Magic 2 and magic that comes with it?

I tried to find answers in the documentation of the iMac, but cannot find anything. So my question is: should I turn off my magic mouse 2 everytime I turn on my computer? Or should it remain always on? (same question goes for the magic keyboard)

  • my magic mouse suddenly stopped scrolling in pages

While editing a long document into pages my magic mouse suddenly stopped scrolling.

I have looked on various online forums and found no solution.

I checked my setting and preferences, but found nothing changed.

It scrolls up and down allows very well on the Internet pages and in number and even get out of my folder in the Finder.

I tried other folders and documents in Pages and the mouse does not scroll.

It shows that 35% battery life and I think, if she was too weak, do not work on anything.

    I did something wrong?

I'm fairly new to Mac and perhaps I accidentally pressed a combination of keys for my editing.

I hope someone out there can tell me how to solve this problem.

I had to resort to using the arrows up and down!

And my mouse scrolls quite happy in this question paper.

Well, I'll answer myself that I see no way to change the message.

I checked again on the Internet and came up with a site that said I had to change things for my mouse or trackpad (don't have to make one of these!) accessibility. I wasn't click the scrolling speed and the arrow to 'faster' (he was placed in the middle of the speed bar).

I then chose one of my documents Pages, and to my amazement, found that I could scroll through once again with the mouse!

While that's fine I can continue once editing, I would still know WHY it is suddenly stopped and WHY he started working so I changed the speed of scrolling.

    All responses are welcome.

If I hit a key by chance combination that has stop working in the Pages, then I would like to know so that I don't make this mistake once again if in fact I did a mistake.

  • Last Magic Mouse 2 is not compatible with the Mavericks 10.95 - and that stinks

It is not so much a question as an expression of stunned disappointment.  My old mouse Magic went kablooey, and so I got a new.  Unfortunately when I the paired with my MacPro 2012, running the Mavericks 10.95 (sorry Apple, you have not matched the Mavericks speed and performance with Yosemite and El Capitan) I discovered that features the touch like scrolling and swiping has not worked.

After an hour to read the little booklet that comes with the mouse, zap the PRAM, reset the SMC and usually ask myself? *  I watched the Magic Mouse box and found the answer in 3 grey dots on white type: requires OS 10,11 or higher.  All right.  Mea culpa, caveat emptor, blah blah.  I should have read through the entire page of the Magic Mouse on the Apple Store Web site, but I already have the product so don't figure there were many new take into account.

However, it seems strange to me that a completely necessary peripherals does not work with a BONE from a few years ago.

There are loyal customers (30 years of computer science and I have never used or owned a PC) who use your products as professional (I'm a sales manager of creation) and, for reasons that go beyond taste, prefer your earlier and faster OS.  Apple wants to move the herd along for many understandable reasons.  I do advertising.  I get it.  Offers new features and the "improvements" that Miss on users who refuse to put up-to-date is perfectly logical.  But prevents them from having a functional Apple mouse goes too far.  It will encourage strong armament and it stinks.

In light of Apple's strategy, it seems pretty ironic that the same company that once derided the PC world as thinkers authoritarian group straight out of Orwell is curve at this level to get its users to conform to his version of the future.  What the * happened to "Think Different"?

Good question, I guess, and I can only opine; as you know, we are here just volunteers.

The question is... when a company changes its products.   As I see it, different operating systems have developed over the years at a huge pace, such that cannot not could be foreseen four years ago.   So the Magic Mouse 1 was fine for the moment but did not have the ability to adapt to meet the current needs.     So what does Apple?   It must be a new mouse that will respond to current needs and anticipate the needs for some time in the future.

You can still buy the old MM1, although you might have to go hunting.   And of course, you can take the old one back if it was purchased less than 14 days ago in most countries and 28 days ago in the United Kingdom and most European countries, I believe.

I hope you get over your troubles.

  • Green flashing light on the Magic Mouse

I thought that a green light flashing on the Magic Mouse 1 (not rechargeable), means that the necessary batteries replaced or recharged.  I put new batteries in, and yet the green light continues to blink.  This is a new mouse, sent to replace their defective Magic Mouse.  The defective mouse works, but I can't get the new one to work.  I can't get support to help me with this. I tried to use the conversation, and they have disconnected while I was writing my question. RRR

    Anthony,

Look at my answer to the other thread.   It may be better to keep all questions here at the moment.   The other thread is no longer.

  • Qosmio G40 - trying to install Magic Mouse

    Hello world

I tried to install the Apple Magic Mouse in Windows 7 using the unofficial UneasySilence driver and can not get the scrolling, only left and right clicks.

Research on the net, it seems to be the kind of a lottery: some wins, some loses; I lost

Did someone get a solution giving me?

    Thanks for the good advice.

    Hello

Well, I doubt it s a Toshiba related question if the mouse or mouse driver doesn t work properly.

I mean if you use drivers not official there is no support for this and you must use the official drivers if available. If you still have problems, you should contact the manufacture of the Magic Mouse.

  • mouse magic mouse from Apple

Nobody knows why the mouse Apple Magic mouse has these gliders made of plastic which does not slip on the bottom? I don't understand why something that costs so much is so impractical. There are also two batteries while all other wireless mouse I've owned have a pile. Of course, it looks good, but it's almost the point if it is a drag to use.

Depends on what you mean by "drag not."   I used a magic mouse (actually three) since 2007.   I have no problem with the element "glide" insofar as it always slides around that I need.   I wonder what you use as a carpet.   I use a piece of black felt to the artist (available at any artist materials store) which is smooth and gives no reflection that would pose problems for the optics.   What I need to do is brush it once a week.

Can't say anything about the batteries; It is a question of design.   Perhaps a single battery would have been more difficult to integrate into the form.

You should submit comments of this kind of Apple product reviews.   They recognize you probably not, but we are sure that they read all the comments.

    Hello

It seems that my mouse has become more sensitive waaaayy.

It makes it nearly impossible to zoom with precision and to move objects while now shift.

This was not the case with El Capitan.

I checked my settings but nothing weird here.

Just installed the latest Macos update and Adobe apps are finally working properly!

  • My magic mouse has stopped working.   Is there a battery that I need to replace?

My magic mouse stop working.   Do I have to replace a battery?  If so, how?

If it's a Magic Mouse 2 then you reload by using a standard USB cable Flash. The port is at the bottom of the mouse. If it's a Magic Mouse, then you must replace the batteries. Coverage is at the bottom of the mouse.
