  I'm trying to connect a BlackBerry (device or Simulator) via USB for our BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). He worked for another instance of a BES and also a BES express test. We are using Microsoft Exchange. So I have a couple of Outlook profiles. When you start the Desktop Manager, I select the profile according to the connected device. Communication between the Desktop Manager and handheld works well. The only problem is the connection to the BES.

  Device Manager displays under bridge "Connecting" (somewhat similar, it is not executed in English) and the name of the server is "srp.eu.blackberry .net: 4101. Then it tries to connect to the internet instead of the local server for BlackBerry. With other BES servers he was always showing the IP or the local name and the connection was set up immediately. Unfortunately at the moment I have no other BES to connect to.

  I searched my local registry for the parameter in the Office Manager, but just under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Research in Motion\BlackBerry\PINData of the correct (as S12345678) serviceUid of our local BES server. My problem is, I don't know how this serviceUid is mapped to a server name.

  Our license to a BES 4.1 which has been updated to a 5.0, there may be a few old settings that block the communication.

  Question: whence the Device Manager get the address from which it connects? It appears in the Exchange? Or in the BES (global or with the user)? Does the Desktop Manager searches for the name itself?

  Create a BlackBerry email address

  1. The create a BlackBerry Email address screen, enter a user name, password and confirm the password, secret question, and secret answer.
  2. Click OK.
  3. You will receive access configured successfully to your e-mail account. Click OK. Services - email account screen appears.
  4. In the screen Service - email account , you can edit or delete each email address, integrate a different e-mail account or go to display settings and Service.

  To set up your BlackBerry Internet Service, BlackBerry e-mail and messaging or e-mail account of BlackBerry from your computer

  Note: New subscribers who create their BlackBerry Internet Service, BlackBerry mail and e-mail or BlackBerry e-mail from the computer accounts and create a login user and a password to access their account to BlackBerry Internet Service will automatically turn off the automatic connect feature. For more information on the automatic connection, see KB13955.

  1. Perform an operation to Save now on the BlackBerry smartphone. For instructions, see KB00510.
  2. Go to the account page of your wireless BlackBerry Internet Service provider.

     Note: To find your BlackBerry Internet Service Provider web site, go to the Support section on the BlackBerry website (http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/software/internet.jsp) and click on the link of your service provider in the section access to the BlackBerry Internet Service Web site .

  3. Click create a new account.

     

  4. Read the BlackBerry Internet Service end user agreement and place a check in the box I have read and understood the legal terms. Click I agree.

     

  5. Type the number of personal information (PIN) and the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) or number (ESN) for your BlackBerry smartphone and click continue.

     Note: For instructions on how to locate the code PIN, IMEI or ESN on your BlackBerry smartphone, see KB05026.

     

  6. Type a user name and password, and click Next.

     

  7. If the username chosen is already taken by another subscriber of BlackBerry Internet Service, you must choose a different username. Provide suggestions of names of users who have not yet been taken. Once you have selected an option, click Next.

  Yes, it is normal on the Razr product. However, when you do something that involves the transfer of data, the upper and down arrows below 4G must not light up. If they do, then you are actually still transfer data via the cellular network and not your WiFi connection.

  I use windows XP and I use a modem wifi from Airtel (beetal 220 bxi) and I use BSNL connection, I set the BSNL dial the password for wifi definition so that only wifi must be connected automatically to access internet. Since a few days my internet worked fine, but after that it connects for a very short period of time say 10 minutes and then disconnected while wifi shows connected and when I ping IP address to the command run it shows that it is connected and part of the answer is displayed in the run window. My wifi shows connected, but I can't access the internet now a days showing also disconnected wifi and when I click on the wifi button, it shows "error loading plug in, application will exit" and when I click on this point, then all windows will be closed. To connect to the internet, I have again to restart the notebook and there still internet connect for 10 min and same situation happen again. Please help me solve this problem...   I got BlackBerry for years, connected to BES society and got email immediate.  Now I am on leave and using BIS PUSH for emails from the company and it takes up to 20 minutes (which then goes down to a few minutes after the first email).  Should it take 20 minutes?
