  Hello. I used a bit of my experience with InDesign CS6 to create and publish epub books.   Now I want to create some simple editing applications. I have an Apple Developer account. After reviewing a number of different solutions Adobe DPS simple editing seems more appropriate, but I'm confused by the options so I have a few questions.

  (1) Indesign and DPS all software that I need to create and release of the app or is there something else that needs to be bought?

  (2) the price of simple editing Adobe DPS means I admit, that is to say it had not expired after a period of time?

  (3) adobe Creative cloud gives a 1 year license of software adobe - this license also includes simple editing Adobe DPS?

  (4) I need not of all the cloud of Adobe Creative software, if I just Indesign CC license, because it's cheaper, is Adobe DPS unique edition always included.

  (5) it is likely that the support for Android and Amazon only editions will be added in the next year?

  (6) can you tell me all the resources on the internet that are good to learn to use the DPS?

  1 inDesign is the starting point, but no HTML knowledge will be a great help because Edge animate and Muse (both part of the cloud creative)

• Reinstall a potential buyer with a question on the BONE

  I plan to buy an Envy 17 in the months to come and had a question about the OS reinstall. Envy allows to boot from a dvd using the method of 'hold down F8' Windows standard to enter the default windows recovery tools and install a clean OS? I intend absolutely wipe the OS preinstalled and starting from scratch in order to remove all the crapware and create my own recovery image using OEM Win 7 dvd I have. To do this, I need to be able to load the operating system without using any built-in recovery console. As a user of long-standing self built desktops, I don't need such tools as I've done it before on my old laptop and this desktop computer. Thanks for your help.

  Yes, the operating system license key is attached at the bottom of the laptop. Before you start the formatting of the hard disk, you can check the recovery options available on the laptop_either by pressing the F10 key to turn on or by starting from the set of the OS Recovery you can burn (recommended, btw). A lot of new portable HP have a minimal 'Install' option that formate and reinstall only the OS and drivers without all the extra stuff that is preloaded.

• Satellite U405D-S2874: Question on the potential problem of hard disk

  Trying to fix a Satellite U405D-S2874 for a friend.
  As a first step, that it won't turn. Once I have re-seated hard drive, it turned on and starts very well.

  However, he still intermittently will not be powered from a power off State. I get a few indicators as power, load, etc., but at least I see Satellite logo light up, I know that it won't start/turn on fully and I get nothing on the screen.

  I put t think that this problem could be linked to the defective HARD drive.
  Usually, the laptop must be able to turn on and the BIOS splash screen should be visible even if the HARD disk is defective.

  Moreover in most cases a message or underscore flashing appears on the screen if the HARD drive is malfunctioning

  However, it is possible to check the status of the HARD drive.
  Download the tool called Drive Fitness Test and test the HARD drive by using this software.
  If some errors would be detected, then you must replace the HARD drive.

  But if the HARD drive is ok, then I would recommend checking the RAM modules first.
  Test the laptop with a test module. Try the two slots.

  If it would not help you, then a motherboard must be verified but generally it is a work of a technician for laptop

  Just to concurr... what Marvin said.

  The power is dominance through different pins of the connector and while the iPod connector is very similar in looks and may be forced in the port of the rocket, you will FRY if you try (rhyme unintentional)!

• I have a question if someone is there. I have build an interactive site and have problems with the presentation widget?

  I am creating an interactive website for a client developer. We are eager to build an interactive site where a potential buyer can see the rendering of the image of the kitchen and choose different finishes (floors, counters, backsplash ect.). I use the widget presentation stacked for interactivity. For example, the cabinets are all in a widget. The second widget contains the upper part of the counter. The third widget will contain the floors. All targets of widgets are stacked with various components of rendering and triggers are more towards the left to graphically create a kiosk. I have a question when I look in a preview of the browser. Sometimes the trigger buttons work and some times they do not have. They don't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I need help! Someone has an idea?

• Satellite C650 - guarantee for the new buyer?

  I bought a phone of monthly contract in August 2010 and received a free Toshiba Satellite C650 with the phone. I did not use the laptop as it has been received and decided to sell it on. I had two people survey if I sell this with a guarantee - I looked at the information booklet that comes with the laptop and it says there is a limited with it.
  The potential buyer is able to take over the guarantee of this laptop? It has not been turned on/enabled or saved?

  It says that it comes with a 12 month warranty, so assume the warranty will be valid until August 2011.

  The warranty is not according to the owner, it s according to the model of laptop or s let the serial number. This means that if you have the laptop in August 2010, the laptop has a valid warranty until August 2011. Indifferent using the laptop.

  If you can sell and the new owner can always use the warranty.

  Hello. My 5s iPhone when I connected a mixer without merit on the head taken telephone and placed on a large metal fridge. The phone proceeded to get very hot, as more than 110-120 and then die. It doesn't or reload. I want to sell it, but I want to be sure that no sensitive applications info-Bank/paypal etc, are accessible to a potential buyer. My question is: is it possible to ensure that this information is inaccessible?

  A DesignJet 1055 CM (model A, c6075a) would work OK with Mac OS 10.7 (Lion) or 10.8 superior?  I don't have a Mac; I plead for a potential buyer of my 1055CM. The 1055CM currently has 96 MB of RAM; I could put 128 MB in.

  I would get "out of memory" problems?  I think that maybe there is no "computer in process" option in the Mac OS 10.7 for the 1055CM pilot, but I'm not 100% on that.

  I guess it depends on how simple designs are. The application is for printing large topic say 24 "x 24" vinyl stickers vinyl roll.  Well, maybe raises another question: would a 1055CM, printing on vinyl OK?; I guess because they seem to be very similar architecture/configuration as a 5000 or 5500 and these OK printing on vinyl.

  I wouldn't say a 1055 for work of vinyl. There are a few suppliers who can provide a vinyl fot this printer, but it's not too successful.

  First ink 1050 won't last long, it will fade fade very quickly. (you can use a laminate liuid, but time consuming, will not worht it.)

  Secondly, the 5000 series printers have a different ink, it means the UV ink and ink to dye. Two inks are specialised in the printing of "vinyl" or "post".

  Your best bet is to get a HP designjet with Viera of ink, with the correct paper, that they have to use intermediary.

  Otherwise a second hand series Z (Z2100 going quite cheap, comes in a cheaper A1) these printers have pigmented ink which have a longer life of the door.

  Also, remember that when a fresh company per support incident, it becomes a financial incentive for them not openly share solutions in a forum and not to correct the problems identified by customers, if this issue can increase incident.

  This is ridiculous. It is better to have satisfied customers to try to get a little extra money. Talking to a person living usually takes longer time for e-mail support, and support costs help simply to defray these costs. In addition, as many employees on the forums, I'm a developer, not compatible, so there is no incentive for me to try to try to hide fixed (or to support, but it is a clearer case for developers). Besides, there is no reason for me to be here - probably more code I would write if I wasn't. Even employees who are support are not getting anything currently out on the forums. Hmm, we would probably have more requests for paid support, if the forums did not exist...

  ronross: there are a lot of people knowledgeable on the forums, but it is not an official support channel. Some questions are answered quickly, but others are best solved via email or support per incident. I think that the forums are a great resource, but I'm just trying to set expectations appropriately.

• EliteBook 8540w crashes

  I have experienced some weird behavior of my EliteBook 8540w twice in the day: during labour, the whole of windows (not only) crashed suddenly without any previous error message, the machine, stop completely and instantly, like someone would have turned off a light bulb. Can you please explain what is causing this weird behavior? Any cure? Please feel free to ask back in case you think that my question is not clear enough.

  In addition, before opening a case of pension (these systems come with a 3 year warranty), I encourage you to make the updates of drivers and bios

  Better, however, is to use the Softpaq Download Manager (www.hp.com/go/sdm) to install all the updates available and required for your systems. Just a word of warning only select and update h/w driver and BIOS (must be made independently of the other updates) with SDM, a great tool that does not do the WRONG thing
