  (1) notification inheriting from QObject, it is removed from its parent. If you have more need to use the object, you can always call Notification: deleteLater() which will remove it the next time that the system has a chance.

  I use SOA11.1.1.5, and I'm working on integration with the IOM for the approval workflow. I have question about notifications in the human task that is pending approval. I am able to edit the body of the email according to my needs, but I'm not able to change the subject of the e-mail. Currently, it is the message subject as ' Action required: approval 'then I want it to be something like' IOM: approval pending - < xxxx > < xxxx > task (request ID: < xxx >)'. All the "xxx" above is dynamic values that are in the payload, and I can use them to build the subject, but just that I do not see any place in the "Notifications" menu in the human task.

  In fact, I was able to make it work, but never had to post the answer. But just in case someone comes back looking for it, the solution of my notes:

  Workflow supports header customizations via "WorkflowCustomClasspathURL"
  The customized resource bundles can be packaged as a jar file and referred from WorkflowCustomClasspathURL.
  
  Follow the steps below to customize the EMAIL headers:
  
  1. Navigate to MW_HOME/Oracle_SOA1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.workflow_11.1.1
  2. From the library bpm-services.jar extract the following directory to a local location:
  oracle/bpel/services/workflow/resource
  Note:
  ----
  i. The reason, we extract these resource bundles from the SOA directory is to be sure that we have the latest properties.
  ii. Please make sure that the directory structure is maintained in the extracted folder
  
  3. Delete the class file i18NUtil.class from the extracted directory
  
  4. Make the following modifications in WorkflowLabels.properties
  a. To customize "Action Required"
  TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ASSIGNEE_ASSIGNED=Action Required
  to
  TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ASSIGNEE_ASSIGNED=Customized Action Required
  b. To customize "Routed"
  TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ROUTED=Routed
  to
  TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ROUTED=Action Required
  c. To customize "Completed to Approved" and "Completed to Rejected"
  Add

  5. Please repeat the procedure for any other languages by editing the appropriate translated WorkflowLabels_**.properties files.
  
  6. Zip back the entire folder into a jar file (say , customizedbundle.jar)
  
  7. The 'WorkflowCustomClasspathURL' parameter can be configured from the Enterprise Manager SOA Console.

  c. Go to Administration - System MBean Broswer
  d. Go to the following mbean:

  e. Provide the path to customizedbundle.jar

  Note. Edit WorkflowCustomClasspathURL for each SOA Managed Server if you are using a SOA Cluste.
  
  8. Verify that the email subject contains the intended changes.

  First of all, I highly recommend that upgrade you to 3.0.3 DFM. There is a serious enough problem that can cause the whole of the LMS to failure if some that are installed on the system. This bug is fixed in 3.0.3 DFM.

  If you wish to inform your operators based on syslog messages, you can set up automated actions to do so under RME > tools > Syslog > automated Actions. Any time a corresponding syslog message is processed by the RME and e-mail can be sent, or a script can be executed.

  While DFM can treat some traps, it is mainly based on SNMP and ICMP on election to build its events. Therefore, as long as SNMP and ICMP connection exists between your server and your devices, you should be set. You can configure notifications DFM under DFM > Notification Services. I recommend that when you set up your Notification Group, just check you the option buttons in events. Events contain specific details about a defect of the device. Alerts, contain a roll-up high level of several events. DFM notifications can be sent as e-mail, traps and syslogs.

• BlackBerry 10 calendar recently invited Short cuts "Tags" does not

  Since the last update (10.1.0.273, STL100-3, Rogers) OS I can tape is no longer the latest contacts invited to add to a new appointment in the calendar.  When I press a 'tag' contact, they disappear and the field invite resets with nothing in it.  I can just click the "+" button at the bottom right and then search for a contact to add.  Other features is so much more practical but they lost!  Is this a known issue?  I rebooted, but this has not fixed the problem.  Anyone?

  As contacts are associated with specific email, due to the wireless sync accounts, you will not be able to add some contacts to events calendar with a different calendar.

  For example:

  Lets say that I have an ActiveSync account and calendar as a account Gmail and calendar on my BlackBerry Z10.  If I create a calendar entry using the ActiveSync calendar, I cannot invite my Gmail contacts and Vice Versa.  Will this affect the shortcut tags as well.  If a tag is not associated with the account you create the schedule, you will not be able to add it.

• Question of Caps Lock Notification? Vista problem? or Dell Inspiron Issue?

  Sorry if this is in the wrong forum; but I don't know who it is.

  I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 running Vista Home Premium 64 Bit.

  The question is when ever I type in another Forum, such as this one; or an email or even a Word document and I activate the "Caps" lock - it will get the sentence I type and I have the mouse to where I was.

  I know that I get a notification "on the screen", but what the hell is happening? It shouldn't start me the sentence when I type.

  I searched for hours and finally comes to join this community. So is it a Vista problem or a problem of Dell?

  You have Dell Quickset, installed on your system? Have you looked inside for a parameter disable the notification?

  EDIT: According to this thread, it is certainly a matter of quick adjustment... They solved by uninstalling QuickSet, but there may be a QuickSet setting to disable the notification...

• questions of behavior to listener/notification

  I have a few questions about the behavior of listeners/notifications that I was hoping that someone had the answer to.  The end result is I'm trying to configure the system so that every day the guests I coded (global contextual modal form) don't stack up if the unit has been turned off or ignored for a series of days.  I would like a single guest waiting for the user, wherever they move to research.

  I went with the model by which this application autostart is always running (thanks to peter_strange, your posts on this topic simplified my life) but just in the background at the venue closed.  The listener that interests me is a RealtimeClockListener even though I have a listener to push both running.

  1. I saw it somewhere here that some listeners do not require the application to stay running.  What it means the System instantiates an object of the type registered?  The realtime should the app to continue running? (mine will be so it's more for the love interest)

  2. I guess that if the listener requires the application to always run it reminds the same object that registered it rather than a new instance of the object, so it seems dangerous to use some sort of Member of the Forum to follow if I already have a popup pushed.  Is it a correct assumption?

  3 I saw written somewhere on this forum when a device has a regular power down (as opposed to a battery pull) is actually still on and some processes are still running.  Does anyone know if the listener in real-time is still going and the application is notified and who responded to the questionnaire every minute?

  I don't understand what you're saying with regard to the realTimeClockListener interface.

  However I tested it myself.  I started an app with an active CCF, then press the poweroff.  Then when the computer reboots, the listener of the RTC got hit during the next minute.  So basically it hibernates.  It's a relief, I would have had to recode a number of applications...

  You are right, acceptsForeground is called before the activate, so if you want a ribbon icon, it is probably better to put up with the fact that it is visible in the background all the time.

  It is unfortunate that Adobe has chosen to use the "update" in the notice inside LR 5. It is not an "update". It is an 'upgrade '. Thus, you pay if you want. Also as usual, Adobe directs clients to the CC solution and makes it hard to find perpetual license option.

  I created a concurrent program that operate on a daily basis to send a notification about expiration of contract used to their Manager for 30 days.
  I would like to send emails in the Swedish language. I am facing a problem in this.
  I have compiled program correctly with Swedish as machine language and I am able to see the format of mail in my package body.
  But I get the notification email, the message body is in Swedish but subject of the deleted mail language Swedish characters.
