• RAID 1 disk failing how do I know which drive?

  I have a T3600 with integrated H310 controller. A disk is a failure in a raid 1 configuration. I see it's 1 ID in the BIOS of the controller, but how that relates to the physical location of the disk?

• Warning of risk in raid 0 disk

  Hi all

  My system:

  Windows7 64 bit

  First CS4

  motherboard: X58A-UD3R

  CPU: Intel core I7 930

  6 GB OF RAM

  I got my new system. I leave the computer shop set up for me with Raid 0. "There is a warning in an application called"Intel Rapid storage technology"on one of the disks in the raid indicating:"disk at risk"and it has a yellow triangle warning sign. When I press the "reset to normal", once again it has the green checkmark, but after a while returns the warning. I got to the lab only to find out that they are not so professional. They have checked all disks, told me they were OK and that the warning did not appear again. When I get back the computer I discovered that I had to set up matrix Raid 0 again in the Intel app and after cela returned warning.

  Someone has encountered this problem before?

  I know it's more a computer problem, but there are knowledgeable people here, which can be experienced with raid, so I thought I would ask here.

  This means that disk fails on 1 or some Smart requests that Council sends to the player. This is one of the main features of the chip so

  It is still in its infancy.  This probably means that player will fail sooner rather than later. I would like to back up your data now and

This command does not appear in my order history and I do not understand why it doesn't work? (And I don't understand why Adobe doesn't have the opportunity to speak to a support person.)

  I would like to be able to re - download this software on the new Mac Book Pro I now put in place... OSX 10.9.4. and I would like to be able to do it as soon as possible because it's for work and I have delays.

  Suggestions or guidelines on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated

  No - I had, of course, tried all these things. Finally, I had someone (after several days) on the personal chat group that could fix and it did it in a few minutes. Too bad that nobody else seemed to be able to do. Adobe is very soft.

  Hello. I have a W700 runnning two Seagate Momentus 7200.4 500GB 2.5 "SATA internal hard drives in a RAID0.

  Lately I get the application from the storage Console messages that "a request for data on the disk have failed. Yet it seems ti be up & running.

  Everything is saved in several pc off-site.

  However, my question is which physical drive is this?

  The problem is reported on Port 0 - but it's the closest drive to the back of the unit or the one closest to the front using the machine (i.e. the keyboard upwards)?

  Any help on this point very welcome indeed.

  the disc at the front is 1, back is 0.   you will see that they are labeled when you remove the access door.

  but, like Aboulafia said, a drive failure in a RAID 0 environment means your table in its entirety will be destroyed.   If you find that the drive in port 0 is indeed a failure, I suggest support upward your data (if all goes well do you already) and contacting the seagate warranty service.

  I'm trying to upgrade a HP Pavillion a6720y Vista Home Premium 64 to Windows 7 Home Premium 64 via the official HP upgrade disk that I ordered a few years ago.   I forgot to add, I also had problems with getting Windows 7 update for the first time. Updates (more than 130 of them) would be to continue for awhile, then seems to hang for hours. I downloaded the Windows 7 SP1 from Microsoft (make sure you choose the right version, 32-bit or 64-bit) and installed everything first. It takes time to install it, but it finally finished ok. Then I rebooted and installed the Windows updates required in groups of five or six instead of all at once. Don't know if I needed to do, but they all eventually installed ok.

  My guess would be that iTunes is trying to transfer some content on the device in your library and failure. See how to backup your iTunes for Windows with SyncToy library if you do not already have a backup method. Back up the data from left to right: before it breaks down just in case.

  There is an outside possibility that it might be a permissions problem trigger a somewhat ambiguous error message. Try to repair the security permissions for iTunes for Windows.

• Satellite L30 recovery disk failed: could not do language input error

  I have a L30-101, which has been slow to turn on. Another forum suggested going in ms config to ensure the maximum memory used to initialize and uncheck that some elements to start. When I rebooted, windows icons have been expanded and slightly blurry, so I undid the changes I did but windows is still not clear. The laptop works well otherwise, so I recorded that restore data, I needed and tried a system, but the computer can't find any restore points.

  As a last resort, I tried the Toshiba product recovery disk which I had never used it before. He begins to read it ok, then asks for the choice of the English language.   At first, I must say that you should back up all your important data to an external device like external HD or USB. When you use the recovery facilities disc all the partition is deleted.

  I don't know why you cannot use livery recovery disk, but the only thing to do is to visit nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer and show the problem. If they can confirm recovery DVD is defective, I assume that you will get a new free of charge.

  Pavilion a705w a friend shows "diskettes (40) failed" message when starting. The BIOS is the last of this mobo: 3.26. There is no floppy disk in the system. I changed the BIOS to disable your disks, but this change seems to be lost. It was not a message on a CMOS battery, but could this be the problem?

  Once the system starts, there is no problem. FWIW, the processor is an Intel Celeron D 340 @2. 93 GHz.

  The typical lifetime of a CMOS battery is 3 to 5 years.  It's a $4 item.  Your PC is a 2008 model.

  Have you thought about the HARD drive?
  It could be a malfunction of the HARD drive that does not allow you to install the system.

  I recommend that you check the HARD disk for some potential problems.

  There is a nice tool called Drive Fitness Test. You can use it to check the HARD drive.
  Google simply to get the software.

  IM using external storage of Welland ME-580J dual Bay raid equipped two WD 2 TB green HDD in Raid 0.
  Using the connection on my 500 - M 2 X esata I only see a hard drive. Technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology software can see both drives and will report the correct amount of storage.

  Windows Disk Manager will see 1 HDD. I spent several hours trying to find a solution, but I was not able to find a solution.
  Access to the external storage via USB works properly, but it is slower than esata.

  Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?

  As much as I know RAID 0 is nothing but striping and you cannot use two hard drives as separate units.
  Every HARD disk has several parts/blocks and they work together.
  Using RAID 0 will at the same time access to these two hard drives and it will increase the speed of transfer rate.

  I don't have this camera and can not test it, but it makes sense to me that windows Disk Manager see as a player.

  Today, I received my P900, and it came with 2 rather than 1 (512 GB) SSD for the master boot record and is in RAID 0 would be the establishment I have ordered. 1 SSD and no RAID for master boot record (straight out of the box of the OS Boot primary disk watch 568 GB free on 936 GB).

  In addition, there are 2 3 TB HDD in RAID 5 using the FLEX RAID controller.

  The computer is running Windows 7 Pro. Is it possible to transform the startup (2 x 512 GB SSD) in a JBOD disk implemented, ideally without having to reinstall windows and everything else?

  I am very familiar with RAID in place, but can handle more than likely unless there are specific instructions.

• New HP HARD drive > load recovery disks > fails to start after the installation process on the press continue

  I have Pavilion d7-4165dx laptop. I saw US, that made a purchase of the United States (BestBuy).

  -HARD drive failed after renewal of antivirus software trial period.

  -All diagnoses would not recognize the HARD drive.

  -Support HP said still in warranty, but I am out of country.  HP said more was likely HARD drive cable.

  -Buy cables and a hand off USA door.

  -Installed, always the same answer.

  -Ordered the new HP's HARD drive.  Out of stock.  Finally inquiring was commissioned to a part 3rd US rep.  He recommended to buy directly from output, but higher speed.  Did this and then HP replacement HARD drive arrives.  Both outside the U.S. door hand.

  -Install the fastest (slightly smaller) Seagate 500G 7200.  Has started the recovery with discs of recovery (5 in total who received from BestBuy, but not the OEM to the research), but before the new HARD drive is smaller than the original WD 640 G 5400.   Put WD #1 Bay and Seagate in #2.

  -Start the process of disk recovery.  Any resumption of the process of the plant and on the last drive-through, it says do not touch while the PC starts on and outside, etc.  Said so press on continue continue.

  -When the press continue, simply goes to the black screen with "No boot device...". »

  -Run the other options, the same message.

  -Diagnosis of ran.  Drive HARD everything is OK.

  -Called HP support.  It says I have to buy the HP recovery discs.  Those I have (5) is not the right one, there should be only 3!  They are that I got from BestBuy, but look like they were made here when BestBuy configures the PC.

  Suggestions anyone?

  When the directions say eliminates any external devices... it really means remove all devices that can be removed that were added after you bought the computer... including in-house!
