Re-Activation as a result of a hardware malfunction

Hi guys I write here because I had trouble getting in touch with a real person to solve this problem by phone.

I recently had a malfunction of the PSU that fried half of the components in my office (including my HARD drive). I had to update all my components and re-install my version of windows 7 Home premium. Of course, my registry key is currently still attached to my dead PC, can someone tell me how I should go about solving it?

Apologies, I know that this must be a common problem but I couldn't find anything with a search of the forum. Most of the issues resolved seems to be for people considering an update hardware and not to limit the damage after apocalypse PSU.

Thank you

(More info: product is Win7 Home Premium 64 - bit retail version and functioning properly.) The guests of activation occurred after installation)

Try the phone activation:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

(2) press the ENTER"" key.

(3) select your "country" in the list.

Last week, I change the battery but the problem is still on.

    Hello

According to this Microsoft article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/222973/en-us, there is a hardware problem. In my opinion, you will not be able to record only. Contact the service partner in your country and let check the device. If this continues with the new battery too, I presume that there is some problem with electronic power to the motherboard.

This message occurs only if the mobile PC is running on battery power, or in other cases too?

Hi, can someone tell me how to solve this problem? Initially, we thought that it was the computer that causes this, but after the day the computer test, this seems to be the problem with the computer.

I think it's the PCI and PXI card on the computer that is the cause. Does anyone know what I can do about it?

    Thanks in advance.

Is there something I can do to ensure that this error will not be shown again?

Thanks in advance for any help

Meh... I know I'll be back on a fairly old post, but I found the solution.

For some reason any installation Vision Acquisition software 8.5.1 created the problem by defining itself as the default driver for the network card. Then, go to 'manage' by right clicking on the 'Bureau', go to the hardware section, network card and select the intel driver solved the problem.

First of all, it's a good idea to remove your serial number of the position. Points to a failure perhaps diagnostics hard drive. (the part that stores data on the pc). Make sure that you keep good backups of your data in case it failed completely. Then, you must contact lenovo and do a warranty claim so that they can watch or advise you in consequence or may contact an authorized service center.

It looks like a serious hardware problem. Maybe it s related to the motherboard.

So I recommend you to contact the local Toshiba authorized service provider.

  • How can I fix "memory parity error" - a hardware malfunction?

My video display keeps going out and lose pixels.  Occasionally, I get an error message "memory parity error" and "malfunction of equipment."  -What it means and I can fix it?

You forgot to give us information on your computer, so all I can give you is general advice.

    1. in the case of a desktop computer, connect it to another monitor. If all goes well, replace the original monitor. If the problem persists when connected to the test screen, replace your video card.

    2. in the case of a laptop computer, contact technical support of computer mftr... There is a hardware problem, probably with the video chip, which you can't fix yourself. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Blue screen hardware malfunction

I have a laptop Dell XPS M1710 running Vista Ultimate.  30 months, was working fine until about 3 weeks ago when I got a blue screen in the middle of a session with the following message:
    "hardware malfunctin".
    "Your system is shut down.
"Call your seller of support material.
Called Dell for warranty support, they ran diagnostics equipment, no problem.  Suggested that I have updated bios, drivers, Vista, etc.  Update to all, no help.  Blue screen now a regular occurrence.
Second call to Dell.  Diagnosis more, once again no obvious material problem.  Their only solution was to erase hard drive and reset to factory settings, and if it does not have to send the computer for them.
Search Internet presents very common blue screen problems.  But could not find one exactly like mine.  A common suggestion was a registry cleaner.  No help.
Error file has "prior to system shutdown was unexpected", as the most common message.  No coherent software error.
Shows Device Manager everything works except for Microsoft 6to4 adapters, both #4 and #6
Blue screen is very predictable at this time.  When I get a blue screen, I hold the power button until the system powers.  Then I push the button to restart, go to the screen that says windows is not stopped correctly and I want to start in safe mode or normal mode?  I chose normal, the system starts and runs without any problem.  That is until she goes to sleep or I stopped him.  When I wake him up or run it, in a few minutes, I get the blue screen.  Every time.  Reboot in normal mode, and I'm very well until the system goes to sleep or I stopped him.

    Help!

    Thank you

    Greg

Code 31 means that a driver could not install.

Go into the Device Manager and for those who the RIGHT CLIC - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - that will refresh the
    driver stack.

You manually update your drivers will actually sites of the manufacturer of the device to the system manufacturer?

Drivers update operation in the Device Manager are only the same old who performs updates.

Also, if you update a driver always check after restart you Device Manager ensure the right version watch
up as a restore before installing (some several times).

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
