  Hi all, I had difficulty getting the replacement SSD but finally got one of the States, think I paid probably more opportunities for it. But it has solved all my problems, I installed Windows 8 on the SSD and programs on the 1 TB D:\drive and it now works very well and is fast. Hope that helps other David

  Hey all, I recently got a Lenovo y510p for the holidays and I was wondering if someone was running into the same thing, I was, and it was certainly not a brick wall haha. When I play BF4 on all the settings lowest (although it can operate on high settings easily), the laptop gets ridiculously hot a lean 10 minutes. Is this normal? What can I do about it?

• IdeaPad U410 works do not in Normal Mode

  Hello

  My Lenovo Ideapad U410 has suddenly stopped working in normal mode. If I need to open a link or an important document, I open it in safe mode.

  Has anyone in front of the same kind of problem? I don't want to format the system as it is first of all, I would like to know the root cause. The laptop is covered by a warranty but Ideapads isn't an international warramty I guess.

• Lenovo Ideapad 100: Removing the battery

  Hello, I have problems with my removing the battery. As my title says, I have a Lenovo ideapad 100, and I'm supposed to send it off for repairs. For my problem, I need to take out the battery because it is not part of the problem; However, I can't get out.   Recently got my lenovo ideapad y410p and I noticed that there was a start a little slow time. It seems to be the logo of lenovo for about 50 seconds then goes to the login page. I have windows 8.1 so I wonder if this is the case, but the thing is that I had both with windows 8 boot even before I upgraded to 8.1. Is it possible to reduce the speed of boot?   There is a setting in the management of the lenovo energy that limit the limit of battery charge 60% and there after stopping tilll the battery level drops to 55%. This is the battery protection mode (in some laptop that is optimize for the life of the battery or similar). It just open energy management and access the battery settings by clicking on the icon. So your battery might be good.

• IdeaPad U410 without hard drive, lights after updates.

  I imported just an Ideapad u410 of the United States to the United Kingdom. It turns on well, I started noticing the proglem wifi everyone have. Not much, got a USB wifi adapter carrying around I can use. Then I noticed that the hard drive (C, no other visible hard drive) was rediculously small (20-30 a few GB, I forgot the exact figure) with almost all of it is the used space. I thought it was a partition for the operating system and for some reason, the rest of the disc wasn't show. I noticed icon indicating the button windows update turn off and thought that maybe the installer was not complete, so I pressed restart. It kept restarting, download updates and reboot, I'm gone for dinner when she proclaimed it would now install update 1 of 96. When I came back the laptop was turned off. I turned it on to be satisfied by a never-ending cycle of BSOD when starting, followed by a Startup Repair failed... I guess that it is are not enough space on drive C for the update of windows.
