I need help to fix the message display, Scanner Error 5. I have read in the car online troubleshooting and tried to fix the problem as suggested - turn off the appliance for 30 sec and turn it on. Furthermore, tried another step to plug the power of the machine directly into the wall outlet to completely instead of a power strip surge protector. On turnng the power on or in the machine is the initialization of noise comes. It's wireless printing even when do a paper copy, the sound comes. The part of the scanner to copy and light seems to be also does not work.

    As the question of the subject asks: is it possible to print a document exactly as it appears on the screen? I am fairly new to indesign, and I designed my company manual recently, takes us away from doing in Word. I fear I may have made a mistake very amateur and am dreading having to go back and replace everything. Some of the problem can be alleviated if I can find a way to print the document exactly as it appears on my screen or when I export the file to PDF format.

    What is happening is the pagination and other items I put in place outside the substantive area lost (I think that's what it's called... the red box that appears in each document) refuse to print correctly. I would like just to the right of the page to be resumed. Currently, is the impression that part of the image. If I choose "appropriate size", then prints the entire image, but it does not take the right corner. Instead, the chart is repositioning itself on an inch away from the edge and the bottom of the document.

    If not, is there a way of coverage across all items in indesign?

    Regarding the other question, I asked if it is possible across all items on a page in an amount fixed? Say, for example I have too much police on all pages in the document and the images are also a bit oversized, is there a way I can all images to a certain percentage to scale without having to enter each item individually?

    Well, a little. If you select all in your page at a time (or if they are already grouped together) then you can hold the button Alt, shift, and control grabbing a corner to resize and it will keep all reports, including the scaling of the font size. You wouldn't be able to scale a page or spread at once, but you could do it like this. Alternatively, you can place your InDesign document into another InDesign document, where the source InDesign doc appears as an image in the document target. So, you could change each page as an image.

    However, I hesitate to advise that you do this - mostly because I do not understand what you are doing. In my understanding, all outside the crop marks literally will wiind up on the cutting room floor, so the fact that you have content and the page numbers in your purge is meaningless to me. It is intended for the press operator who will make the cut? We can answer your questions, but honestly I think you should describe what you are trying to reach at the end with a bit more in detail, or forums regulars will be answering your questions at face value and possibly help you or maybe just helping you dig a hole deep of yourself without realizing account.

  • 2155 Printer Laser "Deleted by limit" error code 062-790 and it won't copy to plate or charger... Help!

    It is a fantastic printer, or at least has been for many years now.  Suddenly, while trying to do a simple copy on either dish or using the feeder, we get this cryptic message which is totally meaningless for us.  The error reads... "Deleted by limit."  follow-up of the error code... 062-790. it is after the light scans the document.  I searched the site of Dell Support high and low and can't find anything on one of these two errors.  If anyone has any suggestions what to do or where to find it please advise.

    By default to try to fix this problem, I went through the obligatory Eve wait a few minutes and restart after having everything disconnected from the printer and my WIFI and my laptop connected.  Nothing has changed of course, and it's what brought me here.

    Here are some things to try to resolve the error,

    Clean the scanner glass, located on the left side, with a lint cloth and a glass cleaner. A possible mark on the glass, on which the paper passes during the copy. It is the rectangular glass that is probably only 1 cm of width but the full A4 length across the screen. Clean carefully the brand off of this.

    I have the all-in-one printer HP Photosmart Premium C410 Series.  I use Windows 8.1.  The screen of the little box on it has an error message: a red circle with a red line through it and a small box with what looks like a tear inside.  Please let me know what this means and what I need to do to remove the items.

  • HP Officejet J3680 All-in-one: error message on the screen of the printer cartridge

    The message in the window of my printer says cartridge error. I opened the door of the cartridge and makes sure that the cartridges were safe. Message on the screen of my computer says low ink. If the ink is completely out, the printer fails to print and display cartridge error? The cartridge is fairly recent, but it is a remanufactured cartridge.

    I guess that if the printer who copied the cartridge was okay   Then, I got a popup asking if I had problems printing with Windows 10.  After several entries and finally get a prompt for HP Assistant something or other I was finally able to print. I guess that the printer was not recgnizing Windows 10. Now, he recognizes it and is the fine print. Thanks for your comments.

    My computer was working fine, until yesterday. I get a window of microsoft; saying that spooler has stopped working? What is a spooler? And how to fix it? I really need to print!

  • Satellite L750 - BIOS check error and now the screen is blank

    Good yesterday my laptop was working fine and was recommended to an update of the BIOS so I downloaded and tried while he was hooked up to update the BIOS, at half way through she says check error and nothing else, I therefore closed the BIOS window thing and close the cover I did not stop the computer.

  • 5740 OfficeJet All in One: 5740 printer OfficeJet connects but scanner is not on the wireless network.

    I recently bought the above printer and the printer connected most of the time, the scanner becomes more reluctant on my wireless network.

    I just printed a document yet when I try to analyze only one or two seconds later I said it has not detected to scan. I don't know how the device connects - but because the printer connects OK probably is not a wireless connection / router issue?

    The only solution I found to this problem is to restart my system which is quite frustrating and not an acceptable response to long term. When I do this the scanner seems to operate normally, at least for a while.

    I installed all the software from the Web site, including the HP utility - yet I am also told that "computer scan can not be activated" because the software is not found - which is strange, because I installed all the software available.

    Any suggestions?

    I would be happy to provide you with some suggestions on the 5740 Officejet and its communication of scanning.  There may be a slight problem with the software.  I suggest you uninstall the HP software.  Once the software uninstalled I recommended to perform a "repair disk permissions" on your Mac.  A repair disk permissions is a utility built into the operating system Mac designed to detect and resolve problems or errors. After that permission to repair disc is finished, reboot your Mac computer and re-install the software.

    After the installation I recommend that you check the software updates on the Mac.  To search for software updates, click the icon "Apple" to the left and click on the "app store".  In the app store, you can click on the "updates" at the top of the window.  Updates install and Hp or a printer.  After the update, you must restart the computer.

    You can also launch scans of an application on the mac, called 'Image Capture'.  For Image Capture click "Spot Light" (magnifying glass) in the upper right of the Mac.  Image capture type and it should appear as one of the first options.  Open Image capture and on the left side of the window should display your scanner.  The scanner can be listed under 'shared '.  Select your scanner and you should have the options and settings on the right side for scanning.

    Contact HP or visit their web site and see if there is a diagnosis or test processes that can be run on the printer to determine the problem.  If it will not print black from the printer itself then it is a Windows or a driver problem, you need to find the cause of the failure in the hardware of your printer.

  • Why the right mouse clicking on the icons and thumbnails cause error message and the screen resets?

    When I returned from vacation, my PC worked as usual, but later in the day that it would be not laod, it gets to a certain point and then a blue screen and try a reboot.     Looks like you may have a bad Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) add on.

    What is your version of XP and the Service Pack?

    Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

    Here are a few thoughts:

    When the Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) is wrong to behave on a right click, begins to suspect third-party add-ons explore extension.

    Those who would be the Explorer extensions that do not belong to Microsoft.  This means that extensions that you have added.  Solution Explorer extensions are generally well and installation of certain applications will install extensions from Explorer solutions for you, give you a choice and sometimes they can be added sometimes without your knowledge or consent when you install some software.

    Have you installed new software because the system finally worked correctly and if so, what?

    If there is something in particular that you do during exploration that you know will be the cause of the problem, which will help focus on the problem and the help that you suddenly know, when you have found and corrected.  If you can get there when you want it, make an adjustment, then there is no message the next time you do whatever it is you're doing, you've found and fixed (or perhaps you can fix).

    First of all you need a way to see what modules explore you have installed now and a way to turn them off (not uninstall them) so you can understand that we are at the origin of the problem.  You can have a lot of extensions not installed Microsoft don't even know you about.

    ShellExView does not install anything on your computer, simply of runs and displays.

    After launching ShellExView, under Options, choose "Mark non-Microsoft Extensions" and extensions not Microsoft will be pink, clear, but on some systems which is a difficult color to see, so click on display, choose the columns and move the column Microsoft closer to the top, so you can see on your screen without having to scroll left and right.

    Click on the column header for Microsoft not to sort the display (by clicking on the column of Microsoft) if all the "" s are on top and easy to see.

    The s in 'No' would be things you have added (non-Microsoft) and are what you should be suspect.

    You can also Google the name of a suspect add-on and see if there are visits, on Explorer crashing and what other people have done about it.

    You can Google something like:

    Explorer XP crashing

    (you must fill in the name of adds your suspect on).

    See what kind of search results hits you get and are looking for solutions or situations that sound like yours.

    I'm not a defender of trial and error, but I can't think of another way to do...

    Right click and disable the extensions one at a time non-Microsoft keep a list so you can enable them again later if you wish. The result of the change is immediate and no reboot is necessary.  Test your failure condition.

    If you recognize all the extensions that have been added or recently downloaded, start with these first.

    Disabling the extension does not uninstall the extension - it is just disabled.

    Disable them one at a time until your right click on do not generate an error, then restart and test again.  Last extension you have turned off the
    a suspect.

    You can also just disable all non-Microsoft extensions, restart and allow them one at a time until you find the one that generates the condition.

    The hope is that you will find an extension that caused the error, and then you can figure out what on this subject - either uninstall it or see if you can get an update of the author of the extension of their web page.

    I have not your problem, but when you turn off/turn on extensions, the extension is immediately disabled, so disable an extension does not seem to require a restart, but if you find the problem, I reboot and retest anyway to really be sure that the problem has disappeared.

    If you post your non-Microsoft extensions list, maybe someone will recognize it as a potential problem.

    If you find the offending extension that's the problem, please let us know what it is that I can add to my list.

    If you get a blue screen of death (BSOD), you must do this:

    The next time your system crashes, provide more information on what you see.
    Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:
    Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).
    Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.
    If there is a name of the file listed in the STOP message, don't forget to include this information too.
    Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you.  We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like.

    Finally, I'd be curious to know why you say you get an error message and tell us what the error message said.

  • HP Color Laser Jet MFP M177fw Pro - Scanner Error 22

    I get the same Scanner Error 22 on the Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M177fw like many others have posted.  Tried uninstalling\reinstalling the software and tried the most common loading drivers but Scanner error prevented this piece of finish.  Support and I was told we would have to pay $49.95 for them to help us solve the problem.  We just bought this printer 5 weeks ago.  Is this all we can try?

    Thank you for your response. This solution does not solve my problem. HP customer service had travelled me several tests (took about 20-25 minutes total) but ended up sending me a replacement printer. It arrived within two days and so far, the replacement works great. HP has also paid to have the original shipped in return. The process was fairly hassle.
