Re: roll-back of firmware 32L2333DG

After the successful update firmware to the most recent (at this time) 1.05.05 for this model (http://www.dl.toshiba.com/dtv/NA/GB/EN/32L2333DG.html), there is a problem:

There is nothing listed on the EPG Guide of the 8-day program on all the available programmes (GUIDE button-> nothing on the right pane),? ND also by on-screen display of information-> (button "i +"-> now / Next = 'No Information' ""). The input signal is DVB - T. Several resets and power plug-offs have been made, but without success.
Before the update, the Program Guide Info exist. The previous fimware version was 1.04.xx (February/March 2013) - don't remember exactly that.

In order to solve the problem, it takes a downturn for the older firmware.
How can I find these?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Tony

From my experience you should always reset the TV settings after a firmware update!
Depending on the type of service I had contacted some time ago, it is very important!

Also make sure you use the right country settings! If you are Bulgarian, set of countries in Bulgarian. Don t use other parameters as this cheating can affect the functionality of TV.

    Hello

Is it possible to roll back the update of the firmware? I put on the Hebrew firmware 01.01.15 - I was wondering if I can take that off and put that ordinary English? Is it possible or do I just wait for the next firmware update and use English? I was told to look at the other posts here so that he can recognize the Hebrew he needs to UTF-16 encoding - but my s/w EasyTag for Linux can only do utf16 for id3v2 and the "rocket" uses only id3v1 correct?

I am so frustrated with this.

For a manual installation of firmware, simply unzip the compressed firmware file and place it in the root directory of the "rocket".

When the rocket starts, it performs a check for a new firmware file in the root directory.  If you have placed the file in the root, it will automatically replace its current firmware with the one you have placed there.

This can be done in MSC or MTP mode.  The only difference with MTP mode is that you first need to double-click on "Internal memory" to access the root durectory.

  • Linksys E4200 - can update firmware and roll backs damage my router?

    Hello

I had to restore the firmware on my Linksys E4200 (v2) because I had problems after upgrading the firmware. I tried to upgrade again and again met with problems. In short, I improved a few times and restored several times. Currently I'm on the old firmware and I without any problem.

In the old days, it was not wise to update the firmware of some peripheral hardware too often, because some devices has agreed that a limited number of updates to firmware... don't ask me why :-)

Is this also the case with the Linksys E4200 or can I upgrade and roll back as often as the requires, or as often as I want to try to upgrade because of new features...?

    Thank you

    SJW

As long as you do the right steps during the upgrade/downgrade the router (loading the firmware using a wired computer, not to interrupt the upgrade/downgrade process, load the right file, etc.), the unit should be fine.

No problems before the update. Many sites act as they load, but is then filtered white saying transfer... because a lot can click on stop and reload and they will be, but not all. Many sites will load but without loading flash - there was a cap nine available flash installed but no change. Many sites will load without sidebars to load - controlled and they are part of the page and not the frames or iframes. • Satellite L750 - Windows 10 - can I roll back to Windows 7?

I upgraded to 10 Windows in Windows 7, but I lost the wireless driver and cannot download it from anywhere (unless you know better). Also, I lost Internet Explorer. When I tried to download the system I have an updated copy even though God knows where he is.

My question is - can I roll back to Windows 7, which I was pretty happy?

As much as I know L750 is not supported for Win10 so I think that the best option for you is to go back to Win7.
After several problems with Win10, I did the same thing and I am happy now using original Win7.

  • Roll back the action errors

I have had problems recently install a new software. I'd say about 60-75% of the programs I try to install to do the last step, usually save, then falls down, poster sometimes "roll back the action" and then erases everything what he changed and closes. Happens for different programs and I read it might be an older version or problems left by a previous installation failed, but it is none of these. Some are (more) new programs. I also read it could be a file of the registry that was somehow marked as 'read only' but I'm not sure that one or it's location. If anyone knows what's going on, please let me know.

    Thank you.

    Hi bevisjl,

I you recommend to place the computer in a clean boot state and then try to install programs and check will they install, please provide us with error messages that you get when you install the programs with the specific name of the program you want to install:

To put the computer in a clean boot state, follow these steps:

    Perform a clean boot

Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    a. log in the computer using an account with administrator rights.

    b. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    c. under the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items.
(The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    d. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

Note following this step lets Microsoft services continue to operate. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    e. click OK and then click on restart.

Once the computer restarts, verify if you are able to install programs.

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

If you are able to install programs after placing the computer in a clean boot state, follow the steps below in the link to diagnose the program or service that is causing the problem:

    Hi people,

I need assistance with my environment, it is mainly the Lync 2010, but we were in the process at the beginning of the migration to Lync 2013 when we saw that Skype for business 2015 became available. • Impossible to do a clean install on a Partitioned drive C - the screen of the Machine is a "black screen" after Microsoft NVidia driver updated optional; Cannot roll back.

Some time before, Microsoft had an optional update for the NVidia graphics driver on a 32-bit F3V ASUS laptop.

Prior to that, everything worked perfectly. The only problem was with this 'bad' optional driver update that was installed once before; and got the black screen, but managed to make it back this time.

The machine has two partitions; both have a defined password.

I lost the password to one of them and have no backup.

Until the black screen, antivirus updates have been updated.

    The equipment works properly.

Other than a slight overheating issue while games graphics w/3D acceleration (83 degrees Celsius), the machine works pretty much perfectly.

The machine display perfectly in safe mode.

    Done the following:

    (1) roll back; has failed because the regular (important) Windows Update has not created a restore point * and * previous restore points had been erased.

    (2) the Startup Repair (without and then with the Windows 7 installation disc). Message says "unable to repair.

    (3) w/installer disk, went to the command line as an administrator, tried to format c: received message "there is not enough space on this partition. Please allocate more space, and then try again. "

    (4) boot safe mode with network, downloaded and successfully installed the updates of the NVidia - graphics driver and still have the black screen to normal startup.

Went 5) for computer management and cleanmgr without success.

I'm almost ready to consider a shop.

If you have compatible hardware and your computer still stops responding, disable any unnecessary material. Remove (USB) universal serial bus devices. Remove or disable network cards, sound cards and cards of the series; and then restart the installation.

    Try the following

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Press SHIFT + F10 from your keyboard

    type the following commands

    DISKPART

    Press enter
