  I reinstalled the operating system, Windows 7, and after installing all the drivers, I can't change the light from the screen by pressing FN + F6 or F7.

  I could get the Fn keys work in Win 7.

  First in landed the VAP for Win 7 and then I installed the Toshiba Flash Cards for Win 7 support utility.

  I found an answer to your problems, it seems that there are two versions of the BIOS;
  A version of Win XP and one for the Vista operating system.

  If you use the Win XP on your laptop you must update the BIOS to the XP version. This will help to solve the problem with the FN keys

  Explanation in detail:

  As I start my laptop it can freeze or restart at any moment after the Startup logo. This has happened several times, I noticed. If it freezes, after waiting for half an hour, if it does not, restart any movement of the mouse, no appeal of taskmgr, etc. it completely freezes.
