Re-setting up a 3050

I have a Deskjet 3050 a and he was wiring fine wireless for a year. the last month I have updated my OS to the Mavericks 10.9.5 and it has always worked well. I just got a new router mounted by my supplier and now I can't get my connected printer. I put the installation disc Deskjet in, but it tells me that it is not compatible with my version of the OS. How can I get around this?

Hello! Welcome to the @Bynki forums.

I read about the issues, you are faced with the installation of your Deskjet 3050 has to your Mac on your network and I wanted to share some of my own suggestions that might help!

In the order, try the following steps:

  1. Mac OS X: how to reset the printing system
  2. Repair disk permissions
  3. Restart the Mac.
  4. Follow these instructions to OS X Mavericks v10.9: installing and using the printer on a Mac

Have a great weekend

  • HP Deskjet 3050 j610: cannot set a static IP for 3050 j610

I have an old 3050 and downloaded the Windows 8.1 software and installed. My wireless works, and I have added the printer. I can connect to the printer with its current IP * (with the browser): 10.1.1.3 = built-in web server.

    * The INVESTIGATION period that has been allocated to the printer by adding first 10.1.1.3 is (and I can see that displayed on the printer itself, when I press the wireless button).

I found a question and answer here, which indicates that, by entering the information network > Wireless > area IPv4 of the built-in web server, I should be able to set a manual IP address of the printer.

Then, choose manual, entered 10.1.1.200, mask 255.255.255.0, and filled in the gateway and the DNS (as suggested).

    Then clicked on apply.

Red text (errors) suggests that I need the bridge, so I type it (10.1.1.1 is correct) and click on apply.

Subsequently, I get the error messages that are similar to

An error occurred. (wipv4Page-400) Click 'OK' to go back.

The only way that I'm NOT getting this error is the suggest a manual IP address 'button' click, below the section of intellectual property. It works (no error message), but this isn't what I want - do everything on time, it suggests 10.1.1.237, but I veux.200

In frustration, I accepted that IP (le.237), and directions in the forum thread to turn off my modem, turning off the printer, then modem WE power, then printer.

As the modem and printer are a couple of rooms apart, it takes a little time to effect; but I do not see the address IP.237 on the printer - there are still 10.1.1.3

What's wrong? Should I update the firmware of the printer? Is there another way to change the IP address that is in the printer?

None of the utilities downloaded and installed for this printer (versions of Windows 8.1) is useful for me.

Once I have worked on this reset factory = 'restore defaults' and considered that it is a procedure on the LCD of the printer, I got rid of the 10.1.1.1 conflict (with my router IP to host).

AET in removing HP 3050 all installed Windows devices and printers printing devices and ignoring the names of ports it that Windows does not like, I could read the new IP address of the router/Windows gave opportunist of a new printer 3050 (from the LCD screen on the printer).

Then, after doing IE11 forget its compliance with standards and use html bad, I put the static IP I wanted.

    Problem SOLVED.

  • Problem setting deskjet 3050 610 a for wireless printing

    Hello.

Try to put in place a deskjet 3050 610 a in a wireless network. Printer works fine when connected to USB, but it fails with "Error_000057" when trying to print wireless.

Router is a BT Home hub 2

With the help of an acer laptop runing windows 7 32 bit, connected wireless to the router (and online)

Printer is connected to the network, blue light turned on, the IP address displayed

Have tried to disable the firewall (AVG)

    Tried to reinstall software

Using the latest version (DJ3050_610_231) of the driver from the HP website

    Any ideas, anyone?

    Thanks in advance.

Print a network from the front of the printer test.  If it is connected to your router?

If so, your AVG is probably the issue.  Download and run this utility: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-926&h_lang=en&h_client=s-h-e17-1&h_keyword=dg-NDU&jumpid=ex_r4155/en/hho/ipg/forum/network_diag/

  • All-in-one HP Deskjet 3050 a J611 series - mavericks and wireless set up

    Hello

I have a HP Deskjet 3040 A J611 all-in-one printer, I have had this printer for about 2 years and everything worked perfectly then I bought an Apple again everything was fine but when I updated my software that I got from the Mavericks and since then everything has gone wrong... I updated my computer and I got AirPrint now and also HP ePrint (currently). How was never the printer don't work or connection.

    Problem 1:

When I tried to solve the problem that I uninstalled all HP drivers to reinstall - found you must install apple application made! (Airprint)

The printer was taken over by the computer and I can scan but I can not print, I am using the USB cable and when I print the computer indicates it's printing and printers lights but nothing happens (no), then the computer shows the impression is made - but the printer does not print. Scan works very well.

    Problem 2:

Due to recurring problems with the wireless connection, I wanted to reconnect to the router - restore the default value.

But now, because I don't have the drivers of HP, I have no idea how to connect to it and I tried two ways of connection THAT WPS is not working when I press on the road... nothing happens and the PIN, where are you suppose to enter the PIN, nothing comes up on my computer (USB connected)

I read the installation times pages but may not know what is wrong, any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Lilly4,

I can certainly help you get the printer on the network and running again.

Follow the steps in this thread to turn the printer on the network without using the software or the WPS button. I think we do this way of success.

If you continue to experience a problem once the printer on the network, please let me know. Thank you.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Deskjet 3050 (J610) - can not find the claim code

I have a HP Deskjet 3050 J610 Series. I searched the support site of HP and may not know how to configure my ePrint printers. My ePrint printer turned on?

There is no instructions that correspond to my machine on this site:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03550536

I found a video on the "HP Deskjet 3050 a" but it was very different from the standard 3050. My printer is set up wireless and I am able to print from my Android smartphone, but only if I am connected to the same wireless network.

I have the impression that with a connected HP account and my claim Code printers, I can print from my smartphone using the Google Cloud from anywhere, I have access to the internet. I can't find my printers claim anywhere Code. I can print the HP Network Configuration Page in the menu on my printers Control Panel wireless, but it looks nothing like the page in the video.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

The series HP Deskjet 3050 (J610) do not support the ePrint and therefore does not claim any code.

The printer Deskjet 3050 a Series (J611) supports such a, your printer is not.

You can view this document as a reference, the printer does not support Web Services and only allow printing via the local network:

  • DeskJet 3050 has errors in the press cannot use alignment

Hi, I hope you can help.

I just today inherited a second Deskjet 3050 J611 from a friend a hand. I'm setting up on my system and I have a problem with the alignment page printing.

My system is Windows 7 64 bit and I have connected the printer wireless to my network. The thought I want to calibrate the printer I ran the alignment, but go looking at the alignment of the mine of the internet pages is decidedly not just. Some lines seem to be missing and the illustration at the end of printing is 'lines' with blank lines. Therefore, the analysis of the alignment fails. I also printed the windows test page and that seems doubtful too with the lines of print with the tops? cut, but some lines are intact. I've included a scan of the print-out of alignment if it helps to diagnose my problem. At least the scannner works!. I can print from my Ipad 3 even if the quality is not good and the same thing with Windows printing, I hope that if I can make the alignment that the seeds will disappear.

I changed ink for new trucks and installed the latest drivers and software from the HP site.

    Please help if you can.

In General, this kind of question is cleared up by the replacement of the ink cartridges. Especially with Deskjets and more with have received you second hand, the chances of the cartridge/print head (they are combined) being empty or clogged is very likey. I would as a first step, and if this does not resolve the issue here is a document of support on print quality issues which can also produce some more light on the question you have:

    http://www.HP.com/United-States/consumer/digital_photography/print_better_photos/tips/print-quality.html

I hope that helps you out, and if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me. I will reply to you as soon as I can.

    Have a great day!

  • HP deskjet 3050 j610a: hp deskjet 3050 j610a

I have a hp laptop flow and a hp deskjet 3050 j610 while a printer/scanner/copier. It was working fine, I have it set to work wireless. I can print wireless without problem, but all of a sudden when I scan a document it appears on my laptop as a page with nothing but the black lines. You cannot say that there is a document at all. When you try to make a copy, it does the same thing, it prints nothing else than to the thick black lines.

I already followed the instructions on the hp Web site. I tried unplugging everything and reconnect it when it is 'static', nothing helps.

I cleaned the glass and scanner cover that has absolutely nothing.

I used the printer doctor thing they ask you to download and it conducted tests on everything. It is said there is nothing wrong with it, when I do the scan test it always shows me a document of the black line.

I tried to uninstall the software and printer and did a fresh install, it still does the same thing. I tried to wipe my laptop to the factory settings and resinstalling a new copy of the software of the printer, nothing happens.

I entered the function within the software, I downloaded from hp and performed maintenance tasks. clean the cartridges, aligned the cartridges and a printed report but it is written an essay on the glass of the scanner has not been made.

He told me to put a blank page on the screen and press black copy and it prints the same black lines.

It was not dropped or damaged. It is in the same place all day, every day. NEVER, it moves its location. I clean the area regularly, so there is rarely any dust or debris on or around him.

nothing has worked. I tried to look it up if he was still guaranteed, I knew I didn't... but I wanted to see if there is an option if I could send it even if they charged me to fix it, but the only option I found was to come here on this forum.

someone please tell me that they have had the same problem and they know how to solve this problem, im at the end of the line of patience and I can't move forward more. any help would be greatly appreciated. just don't tell me to go buy a new one, I love it and want to do what I can to address them.

Please please help? someone... anyone... Thanks in advance.

  • Trying to set up wireless for HP Deskjet 3054 A! Help, please!

I'm trying to set up the connection for my HP 3054 A wireless to my computer and the router so I can print wireless.  I had an old HP printer implemented and that Wi - Fi was very well but then I got a new modem from century link and the wireless was completely messed up.

I use a MacBook Pro using 10.9.2 CD software is obsolete and only works on 10.5 and 10.6 then please do not mention following the instructions of the software.  The software "seems" to have downloaded the update to the Apple software, BUT I do not have any folder of HP or any installation assistant that I can find to help.

My modem is an ActionTec PK5000 and has a WPS button near the bottom.  I tried to connect using the WPS button and all I get is "Error WPS" about 1/2 way through.  All I get is a blue light flashing for a wireless connection on the printer.  I'm so confused because under my wifi options, it lists "HP-Setup-87-Deskjet-3050A-J611" as a connection option?

    Ugh.

I spent way too much time on this and thought that someone here would have some suggestions.

    Thank you!

    SOLUTION *.

Please NOTE: I am running OS 10.9.2 on a Macbook Pro using an Actiontec Qwest/Qwest PK5000 modem.  It is the solution that worked for me.  If you have a different operating system or brand of modem or a computer - I can't talk about what will work for you.

    1. you will connect the printer via what is called a Web server integrated (EWS) - not through WPS, is not using a PIN or a push button, what are the options of the printer.

    2. make sure that your printer is reset by default.  To do this - press the button on the printer control panel wireless and navigate to "restore to the factory settings."

    3. then - make sure your modem is on and your ethernet cable is connected the modem to the computer.

    4. then - you'll want to navigate through your browser to this page http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=5115807&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

and select your operating system like 10.8 and press Next.  "Driver-product installation software" press the sign + and download the package on your computer.  I don't think it would work as it says 10.8 and 10.9 not but it works very well in the end.

    5. open the packaging of the HP software for the HP utility, and his assistant installation etc.

    6. run the installer of HP.

    7. before you "add a printer" make sure you that you logged into your wifi connections for a connection which identifies (or should) in your wifi networks as something like "HP-Setup-XX-Deskjet 3050 a J611" not the normal wifi connection you can use.

    8. now 'add printer '.  The computer should find the device and it should show as "Hello multifunction" rather than "USB" (which is what I kept getting).

    9. now - go to the HP utility page and you will see the different sections of information about your device.

    10. find the section "Printer - additional parameters.

    11. then you should see a box that says ' the selected printer can be configured using a built-in web server.  Discover patterns and information on the printer by pressing the button below. »

    12. press the button.

    13. This will connect you to the embedded online Web server.

    14. When you're on the embedded - Web server you will see several tabs at the top of the page.  Go to the tab that says 'network '.

15 then the coast - find the wireless configuration wizard.  Who will guide you through connecting to the wifi network you use and configure your printer.

    16. After you run the installation wizard, you should be able to unplug your ethernet cable, go back to your wifi connected and normal that you use your printer up and everything should be good.

It worked for me and I hope this saves people a lot of time dressing and that this will work for you as well.

    Good luck.
