Re: Tecra A10 - 1 5, Windows 8 is not compatible?

Dear Sir
Windows 8 upgrades very well for example drivers etc for this model you
Ian

Hello

No, Tecra A10 is not only win 8 supported phone model.
But this does not mean that you can not install the 8 Win.

You can install Win 8 on Tecra A10 but you will need to find the Win 8 driver for your own hand and maybe you will get not all drivers Win 8 However, 8 Win would go.

  • Windows Vista is not compatible with Sagem router?

My laptop does not connect to my Sagem sky router but will connect to other wireless connections. When you use the Ethernet cable, it connects but does not identify the network name; When I try to connect wirelessly it says unidentified network, local access only. 2 other laptops in my house to connect to the router with no problems. I have tried to change the channel, change the type of encryption, I reset my router, checked the properties of the adapter, uninstalled McAfee and even spent an hour on the phone with Sky today to be told that my laptop is simply not compatible with the router. My laptop is running Vista Home Basic, and use two other laptop computers XP and Windows 7. The upgrade to Windows 7 would solve the problem? I don't want to pay for the upgrade, if I'm still not able to connect to the Internet.

Click with the right button on command prompt and select run as administrator - type the following command

    netsh winsock reset

    Press enter

    Now it works?

Have you tried: disconnect the battery & leaving for an hour
change the channel on the router
    change power options
verification of the IP address is detected automaticall
    Uncheck for automatic IP address
Change the firewall settings/turn off the firewall
    installation of the SP3
    Tour of WPA security
    He turned back
    tried switched to WEP

There's a fixit here.  If editing the registry yourself, do exactly what he says.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/928233/en-GB

    1. run regedit.
    2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\tcpip6\Parameters\DisabledComponents. If you do not see DisabledComponents, create one by adding the following registry value (type DWORD).
    3. change one or a few values:
    1 = disable tunnel interfaces
    2 = disable 6to4
    3 = DΘsactiver ISATAP
    8 = disable Teredo
16 = disable LAN interfaces and PPP
    32 = preference set of IPv4 to IPv6
    255 = disable full IPv6

Note: 1) you must restart the computer for changes to the DisabledComponents registry value to take effect.
    (2) this method disables IPv6 on all your interfaces LAN, connections, and tunnel interfaces but does not disable the IPv6 loopback interface. You must restart the computer for this registry value is taken into account.

    II.

    1. open the properties of the local area network.
    2. uncheck the box next to the Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6) component in the list under this connection uses the following items.

This method disables IPv6 on your connections and LAN interfaces, but does not disable IPv6 on the interfaces of tunnel or the IPv6 loopback interface.

  • Tecra A50 - Abboud - 19 update Windows 10 is not compatible

    Hello
my unit is Tecra A50 - A - 19 M and I booked the upgrade to Windows 10 but if I check compatibility, the result is: "device is not completely compatible: GPU Intel(r) HD 4600.» You will have problems with the screen. »
    What can I do?

    Concerning

In my opinion, you should wait until the Windows 10 will be officially released by Microsoft and you must wait until the Toshiba would publish details of these updates for Windows 10.

This has been done in the past for Windows 8, as well as for Windows 8.1 and that's why I think that this information will be available for Windows 10 too.

  • Windows 7 computers not compatible Nap (for use with remote desktop gateway)

I'm looking to implement gateway desktop remotely with NAP to enforce the integrity of the customer.

I have gateway Remote Desktop works fine, the clients connect without problem. My problems started as soon as I implemented the NAP of the puzzle portion.

I tried three different Windows 7 machines (two off the field) but I can't get an any of them to sign in, instead, I encounter the message "your computer cannot connect to the remote computer because your computer or device did not pass the network access Protection requirements defined by your network administrator." It seems that all the three machines are in fact considered non-compliant nap because they connect very well once I change to Non-compliant NAP network policy to allow full access. I even turned off all the policy settings in the Windows security SHV, but I still can connect, so it allows to confirm that my problem is with the machines showing non-compliant nap.

Here are the steps that I took on the client:

    • Napclcfg.msc to enable the customer to RD gateway quarantine enforcement.
    • Services.msc to start the Network Access Protection Agent of service
    • Installed the certificate for Local computer > trusted root certification authorities

I have read a number of results of research on this topic but nothing helped me to this day. Anyone know what could be my problem at hand?

    Thank you

Norton went this program in 2009.

IMO you should consider yourself lucky. Norton's Windows compatible security programs less there, and you pay for them.

MSE, Avast and Avira are freeware. They work very well and are not pigs resource like Norton.

At first, I must say that Toshiba recovery image created separately for each laptop model and it is 100% created to work on the specific model. Why?
Each laptop model has different hardware platform and all the drivers, tools and utilities for some models are part of the recovery image. These recovery images are also tested.

Generally if the two models have the same hardware platform (hardware) it can be used.

My BIOS detect 8 GB, see Windows my 8GB (2 x 4 GB) of RAM, but I can see in "8.00 GB (3.87 GB usable)" system properties When I run the application you "Resource monitor", I see 4233 reserved material MB. Finally, if I use a VM with 4 GB of RAM, the virtual machine cannot use this reserved memory and crashes.

PS: Sorry for my poor English :)

    Hi mate

TECRA A10 - 13I is certainly capable of that means you can use 2 x 4 GB RAM RAM 8 GB.

    What is the report DirectX?
Check the value of memory here. In order to access the DirectX, you must use the command * dxdiag *.

  • Tecra A10-112 - cannot use 8 GB of RAM

    Hello

I'm trying to upgrade the memory on my TECRA A10 - 112 PTSB1E (Windows 7 and Server 2008), when I upgrade to 6 GB ram (1 x 4 GB + 1 x 2 GB), there is no problem what so ever (52 MB hardware reserved + 5700 MB useful) Windows.

But when I go to 8 GB of RAM (2 x 4 GB) I get material dedicated to the memory of 4297MB and 3129MB of memory used (under windows) and I can not find how to reduce it to 6 GB levels. The bios sees 8GB, windows detects the 8 GB and the fact CPUID. I tried to update my BIOS on Toshiba support site, but I get "Computer not supported" message when I run the update file, I downloaded at Toshiba.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Andy

    Hello

It would be interesting to know which modules of memory you use exactly. You use the noname or high quality, e. g. Kingston modules?

Maybe the modules are not fully compatible, so you should test the other modules.

Also, what program/tool tells you this information on reserved hardware memory? If the BIOS and Windows recognize 8 GB, everything should be ok.

  • Cannot restore my Tecra A10 from recovery disc

    Hello

I'm having a problem restoring my C disk from a disk image. The Toshiba HARD drive recovery utility seems to have disappeared from my computer.
When I followed the instructions for restoring (be it by pressing 0, or F8 during startup to access the HARD drive recovery utility) I finally get a message saying

"The creation of means of recovery is impossibe! File recovery HARD drive on the second disc of the first hard drive not found. There is no valid disk HARD recovery environment on this computer. »

(I get a similar message if I try to open the Toshiba recovery disc creator in the start menu)

Because this does not work, I tried using recovery discs that I have made previously using the same utility. I insert the disk and start the computer (according to instructions), but nothing happens and it starts Windows normally. How can I use these discs?

My laptop is a Tecra A10 16 d Windows vista professional.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

As much as I know saved on HARD drive recovery image can't disappear. I guess you did a few exchanges of structure of HARD drive and now recorded image is not found by the wizard of HARD drive recovery or Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator. Both of these tools know where to look for it, but if they do not find specific markers you will get this message.

Now the only option for you is the use of recovery disks.
Do you use this disk for the first time now?
When you check the contents of the disc in Windows Explorer you will see the content?

Then try to boot using the created disc. Start Notepad, and then press F12. When the boot menu appears on the screen, place the disc in the ODD, choose the CD/DVD drive on the list and press ENTER.

What happens when you do this?

  • Windows 7 Professional is not compatible with the WPS ENABLED?

    Hi all:
I have a desktop (HP Pro 3500 Series) with Windows 7 Professional and another laptop (HP COMPAQ CQ58) with Windows 8, 1 pro.
My internet provider is Jasstel, and it worked perfectly in my two computers.
I decided to activate the WPS of the router (comtred AR 5387un) and they started the problems. The laptop with Windows 8, 1 runs normally.
The desktop with Windows 7 without work and it does not allow the connection to the Internet. The generated error is security configuration, it is incorrect.
I erased the net so that I have again the password. You ask that I introduce the safety key from the net. I introduce the key (which she's right, because it works in another computer), and he told me that I should he Nail or the sentence of the password is not right and there is not the case.
The only thing you change is the operating system. Windows 7 is not compatible with active WPS?

    Hello colambrero,

This model is a class computer business and would be better asked in the forum of the Business Enterprise community.

Here is the link to the appropriate section. http://h30499.www3.HP.com/T5/business-PCs-Compaq-Elite-Pro/BD-p/BSC-271

    I offer you my thoughts.

I was wondering why you have decided to activate the WPS? It's easier to connect wifi devices but also creates security problems.  WPA2 with a good password is more reliable in my opinion.

In addition, your Wifi adapter must be compatible WPS and I can't confirm if your model has one or not (I assume it does).

Windows 7 that has Service Pack 1 installed? SP1 has a fix for problems with connections WPS for Windows 7.

Personally, I would consider not not using WPS for security issues.

Here is an article to example of Sophos Security explaining why not to use WPS.

    http://nakedsecurity.Sophos.com/2014/09/02/using-WPS-may-be-even-more-dangerous/

    Hi Mary,

Thanks for posting this question in the Microsoft Community.

I'll try to help you get the problem solved.

I would be grateful if you could answer the following questions:

    1. Are what you signed up as an administrator?
    2. Are you aware of any change (software or hardware) performed on the computer before the show?

You can perform a System Restore to the date when the computer was working fine and check.

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

Hope this helps and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help you.
