Recently, I broke my laptop screen, now I want to run it via a monitor,

I can't start in safe mode, but the screen turns off after the boot process when it is not in safe mode. Acer laptop, Vista, no video driver installed.

Try the steps below and check if that helps

(a) start in normal mode, when the monitor turns off

(b) press windows + p, then p still one time,

(c) then press ENTER key

Check if it works.

If this does not help, start in safe mode, configure the computer to clean boot mode restart the computer, and then try again in normal mode, the same combination of keys
