• BBM contact to restore blackBerry Smartphones

  Hello..

  I have the BlackBerry Curve 9360 with BBM 6.x version.

  A few months ago, I upgraded in BBM v7, which cause the BBM app runs slowly.

  Then I tried to restore to previous version by myself (cloth, etc.), but still I did not downgrade from my BBM version.

  I therefore decided to go to the service center and ask them to reset my phone in the State brand new.

  For the moment, I was sure after I reconnect using the same Id BB BBM contacts will be restored automatically.

  But after that I got my phone from the service center (BBM v6.2) and then tried to login using the same Id of BB, I found that the BBM contacts are all gone.

  Unfortunately, I have no any external backup for BBM contacts.

  I am a newbie in this stuff and need some information about several things:

  (1) does the v6.2 BBM version causing the contacts passed (is not) while using the same Id BB?

  (2) if so, if I upgrade to v7 and re-login using the same Id BB, will be my BBM contacts restored?

  (3) is it possible to use the v6.2 release and get restored BBM contacts?

  After having had a problem with performance in the previous update, I think the upgrade to v7 or above will be my last option.

  In any case, after searching in my PC, I found an old BB backup data using BB Desktop Software (*.bbb), and after I restored it on my camera, I found "BBM-(yy-mm-dd-hh-mm).bak" files in my BB device.

  so I tried to restore my BBM contacts since the last file using surveys BBM-> Options-> system restore, and I managed to restore about 80-90% (because it is an old backup) my BBM contacts and I agree with it.

  So, private affair and just a tip to all of you who read this post,.

  Please download BB Destop software from the official website of BB and backup ALL your data on your PC now, even if it is not any problem with our unit right now,

  because we do not know what will happen to our device in 2,3 or 4 weeks/months in the future...

  It's always nice to have a backup.

  Is it possible to do this is to use a PIM on the PC to manage information and configure a USB attached sync to keep the BB and desktop in sync PIM.

  If you go to your address book, open a contact, then a phone number-specific menu, once there, you can use the menu button and should see "copy to SIM Phone Book".

  I solved my problem by wiping the bold and re-synchronization of the contacts.  It was working fine.

  When you are in the main screen press menu and all display, and you can see all hidden folders, go to the contacts list, click the icon to restore the application to the main screen.

  Suddenly this week, after a (miserable) sitting at the center of tune-up of Microsoft Windows Vista, BB Desktop Manager ceased to recognize a connection with my 8220, although my computer has. The trick of removing battery was invaluable in allowing the re-installed Desktop Manager (4.6) to recognize the connection.  But now, I can't get my Outlook 2003 Contacts sync with my address book.  Loading stops at one-third of grace (always on the record 174 55) with error Code 0x80040fb3 (consult the documentation...). Anyone know what this error code means and if there is a work around?

  I never learned what was the error Code, or even which RIM could provide an answer.  The solution was to find the list in my Outlook Contacts with a corrupt field.  It turned out to be a record that had no reserved space for an image.

  I was able to sync my contacts on my new Torch 9800 of MS Outlook, but had then several "Pocket calls" even with the ONE the phone lock feature.  So I activated the 4-digit security code feature which requires issuing of entry before making outbound calls to solve the "Pocket call", but now when I try to synchronize my contacts he asks my security code 4 digit.  I have 10 attempts to do things, but it does not recognize the security code on my PC.  I'm a link via the USB cable directly to my phone.  Someone knows how to fix this?

  Do pay attention to what you typed in on the phone and do not forget that to the numbers and symbols, you must use the ALT for them.
