Contacts not saved blackBerry Smartphones

I type a contact in and to save it, it will not save. I checked the filters and nothing that I have added a contact yesterday and he disappeared? Any ideas?

Silly me, I went to the Contacts, the button Menu, filters, clear personal filters and business and then my contacts appeared...

  • Images of text may not of blackBerry Smartphones

    This new 9350 curve of love. Coming from a droid to Samsung Galaxy S, it's such an improvement.

    The curve is fine except that I can't send a picture in a text.

    I can email them, send to Twitter and Facebook but no texting.

    All text without images work fine. It is kind of a big deal for me as I do a lot.

    Any ideas?

    I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile provider to support formal... "Everything" is a marketing term, not something technical on what services you actually have of them (not all the "Everything" plans are created equal!). And, if you pay them for this service, they are not of it.

    I realized that my phone is unable to connect to the internet, even if I am able to send and receive emails from my phone and my wifi connection is fine. I tried to take the battery, return service directories to my phone and I also went to the registry option in the host routing table but does not change every time that I try to use the Web browser.     From your post, I can't tell if you do them in the order required... or know if every successful step as they should before moving on to the next step.   • Data not updated blackBerry Smartphones when inactive phone

    Hi all

    Recently, I removed my main of my device e-mail address while he is on vacation.

    I just put back it, but now I find that data (emails and BBM) are not updated when the phone was in bag for awhile.

    If I put myself in response to or sending emails or BBM of unit all starts update again and all emails in circulation and BMMs come out at the same time.

    Everything working the normal flow is restored, but after being in the Pocket for awhile everything stops again.

    Any ideas?

    I noticed the problem when I started getting these archaic messages called SMS asking me why I do not answer to my BBM... naturally the idea of not receiving them is scaring me senseless!

    We need to know what version of the software on your device.

    Check the version of operating system of the device, and then use the correct steps to register your device. Basically, you refresh your network connection and the software to control the connection on your device.

    Once you are in Mode safe mode, remove all your applications from third-party Options > device > Applications.

    Then do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    It starts normally now?

    It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

    1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
    Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

    3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
    Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

    Hello this is my first post and experience with a Blackberry. I bought a 8310 and Rogers put the old SIM on my moterola inside phone. I noticed there were only 10 of my clients address on it that I discovered only on the registration of the sim card from recently ti. I thought time for a fresh start and deleted contacts and progressed to all my contacts with their addresses, telephone numbers, E-Mail addresses add inside. I asked the guy at Rogers how to save them, and he said you don't need to save just for a sim card, go back to the computer. I then progressed to enterall info. For more hours than I care to admit lol. THEN I started to have problems on the phone. Today I brought back and they gave me a new. Before I put the Software Desktop manager and saved, when I did a restore with the new Blackberry only 10 original customers were there. I called Rogers and they said to go in restoring to the ptogram file and click on desktop and on the backup file. On the left, it shows 129 files of addresses, but it's not black and grey so I can't transfer the info to the phone from the computer. Can I still get the old phone, but I have to retype this information again? It's a huge amount of double work. Please HELP lol!

    OK I just talked to Rogers and they said that the option where I'm stuck is not available on some models. They said I might be able get the old phone, drop th info in Outlook Express and then resume this phone and get my other phone and delete the info from Outlook to the phone! PHEW! Wish me good luck!

  • BBM contact to restore blackBerry Smartphones

    I have the BlackBerry Curve 9360 with BBM 6.x version.

    A few months ago, I upgraded in BBM v7, which cause the BBM app runs slowly.

    Then I tried to restore to previous version by myself (cloth, etc.), but still I did not downgrade from my BBM version.

    I therefore decided to go to the service center and ask them to reset my phone in the State brand new.

    For the moment, I was sure after I reconnect using the same Id BB BBM contacts will be restored automatically.

    But after that I got my phone from the service center (BBM v6.2) and then tried to login using the same Id of BB, I found that the BBM contacts are all gone.

    Unfortunately, I have no any external backup for BBM contacts.

    I am a newbie in this stuff and need some information about several things:

    (1) does the v6.2 BBM version causing the contacts passed (is not) while using the same Id BB?

    (2) if so, if I upgrade to v7 and re-login using the same Id BB, will be my BBM contacts restored?

    (3) is it possible to use the v6.2 release and get restored BBM contacts?

    After having had a problem with performance in the previous update, I think the upgrade to v7 or above will be my last option.

    In any case, after searching in my PC, I found an old BB backup data using BB Desktop Software (*.bbb), and after I restored it on my camera, I found "BBM-(yy-mm-dd-hh-mm).bak" files in my BB device.

    so I tried to restore my BBM contacts since the last file using surveys BBM-> Options-> system restore, and I managed to restore about 80-90% (because it is an old backup) my BBM contacts and I agree with it.

    So, private affair and just a tip to all of you who read this post,.

    Please download BB Destop software from the official website of BB and backup ALL your data on your PC now, even if it is not any problem with our unit right now,

    because we do not know what will happen to our device in 2,3 or 4 weeks/months in the future...

    It's always nice to have a backup.

  • Note of blackBerry Smartphones Outlook?

    Just got a BB Storm.

    Ran all desktop software manager, sync, etc.

    But, I thought it would synchronize contacts, tasks and notes of MS Outlook (2003).

    However, I can't find the notes anywhere on the phone.

    Am I missing something obvious?

    It is difficult to "buried." Anyway, if you select the application you want, such as tasks, then click on the Blackberry button, you can select 'move to folder' and then select 'Home'  It will be more easily available for you then.  This applies to any application in the application folder.

    EDIT - this applies in fact to one of the icons that I see.  I moved Windows Messenger at home.  You can also rearrange the order of the icons on the home page.

    Can Hi anyone help me please! ??? All of a sudden the emails that come normally to my blackberry do not show in the messages folder that they would normally have? All I can see in my messages folder is a duplication of my SMS? That I already have in my file of text messages. I have inadvertently changed a setting here or is there something wrong with my phone?
