reconfiguration of program wireless printer stop

I just installed a new home network on my computer windows 7.  Internet works fine.  I tried to coneect my HP Photosmart C4780 the new network and the first time that it froze after it has detected the network and briefly got the message "HP Installer UI Plu is not responding.   I thought maybe he was still looking for the old network (a different IP?), so I chose "Network Configuration" in the menu of the camera HP Photosmart.  Now he was stuck on the run screen Network Diagnostics for some right after the line "check wireless radio".  I don't think something will happen.  How to install this printer and establish the wireless connection, as if I had before. Signed, frustrated, any help would be appreciated.  I'm running MacAfee as well, if it makes a difference.

If you have problems to re - install the printer and it is stuck at the end of the wireless installation, is that correct?

I had a lot of luck with facilities lately with the HP printer installation wizard.

Try this way to install software for the printer on the computer and let me know if you get another Windows Installer error or if the installation just hangs.

What is the IP address of the printer?

  • Wireless printer stops printing after 4 pages

My HP Photosmart Plus B209 a - m stops after printing 4 pages, then I get an error message.   Worked perfectly the last 3 years... Now I can't print anything more than 4 pages, which is rather limited, to say the least.  What's the matter?

Hello and thanks for your response update.

Please try restarting the spooler to print on your computer. I'll give you a YouTube video on this step here. Also, try to print several pages in another program. This step checks to see if you encounter the same problem.

    Impatience on your part.

  • wireless printer stopped working

I have a Canon MP170 MG5300 printer works perfectly via wireless until I got updates on my computer on Saturday night, now it does not work.  I've looked everywhere to find out how to reset it to a BT Hub all advice welcome

Where do you see the weird icon?

Right click on the printer in devices and printers, then select 'see what's printing.  In the window that opens, click on the "Printer" menu  If there is a check mark next to 'Use printer offline', click on this entry to remove the check mark.

What is the IP address that you have seen?

Open a command prompt window (click Start, type cmd.exe and press enter)

    • In the black command prompt window, type the following command, and press ENTER after each line

    ipconfig/all > "% userprofile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".

    Notepad '% userprofile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt '.

    output

    • In the opened Notepad window, click Edit > select all (or press CTRL + A) and then click Edit > copy (or press Ctrl + C)
    • In the body of your response, right-click > paste (or press CTRL + V) the data of the Notepad window
    • Close Notepad and remove ipinfo.txt from your desktop

Windows 7 has an easy way to take screenshots that you can insert in your response to better define what you see (weird icon that I recognize from your description).

    • Type "Capture tool" (without the quotes) in the search box of the start menu and press enter
    • Place the cursor on the top left corner of the area that you want to copy, click and hold the left mouse button and drag to the lower right corner.
    • When you release the mouse button, your screenshot is displayed.  Click Save icon and save the image, a place where you can easily find (for example, your desktop computer)
    • Click the 'Insert image' in the toolbar of a response window (second icon of good ending)
    • Navigate to the location where you saved the image, select it, click on 'Open' and then click on the button "Upload".
  • HP P1102W WIRELESS PRINTING HAS STOPPED WORKING

Our P1102W lost the wi - fi connection and we cannot get it back.  Seems to be a printer WiFi issue.

It is one of two HP printers (other is a 5510) using a wifi network at home (WPA2, w/password), accessible by a Dell laptop and an Apple MacBook AIr (mines).  Two computers can access the 5510.  Both lost the P1102W.

The blue network on the P1102W is no longer regularly lights up.  By pressing the button on the P1102W wireless accomplishes nothing.  Electric bike achieves nothing (but used).  Moving the printer does not help.  P1102w works fine on USB key.

We tried to reset the Modem and the router. No change.

We have reinstalled the software. No change.

We tried to run the instructions from HP to make the printer wireless using Printer HTML Config Utility, but there page does not load in Safari. (Very frustrating).

    Hi @maddog8212 ,

I see that you have lost connection with the P1102w wireless. I will definitely do my best to help you.

I would like to reset the printer first to clear the previous network settings.
Turn the printer off, press and hold the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer on and do not release both buttons until the printer stops making the noise.

Print a configuration report and check the SSID address and IP are disabled.
    Print a Configuration Page.

Plug the USB cable from the printer to the computer.

I have provided Windows and Mac steps, you can choose how you want to set up the printer again.

    Windows as follows:

Run the Wireless Setup to set up the printer on the network again.

Go to start, all programs, HP, HP Laserjet P1102w, then select Wireless Network Configuration.

    Steps to configure the wireless.

    Then, unplug the USB cable.

    Test the printer.

Mac as follows: (since you mentioned that you had the HTML option for your Mac)

Make sure that Safari is set as default browser. (sometimes the SAP will not open if it is not set by default)

Open Safari, at the top, select the Safari menu, select Preferences, general, as a default value.

    Close all applications.

In the Apple menu bar, click Go, computer, MAC hard drive, library, Printers, HP, LaserJet, click the folder for your printer, click browser EWS or HTML config, it should open the webserver integrated for the printer to set up the wireless, and then click the network tab, click on wireless on the left and fill out your information. (be sure to infrastructure is selected and alpha or numeric is selected) Apply the settings.

You should get a solid blue light on the printer in 1 minute about.

Remove the USB driver, then add the network printer:

    Click on the Apple.
    Click on System Preferences.

    Click the printing and scanning.

Select the printer, and then click the sign - to remove the printer. (USB driver)

    Unplug the USB cable.

Then click on the + sign and select the printer from the list and click Add. (Hello P1102w)

    Try to print.

If you have run Setup for the wireless again on Mac in the first place, on the Windows computer, simply create a new port.

Go to start, devices and printers, click right on the printer and on the left, click printer properties, select the ports tab.

Click Add Port, select the Port TCP/IP Standard, then New Port and follow the instructions in the wizard.
  • HP Officejet 4620 e-all-in-one stop wireless print whenever it is turned off

My HP 4620 stop wireless print whenever it is turned off, although it is connected to the network (by the results of the test network wireless, pass & the quality of the signal is excellent).  No troubleshooting - HP Print & Scan Doctor work there is no help, I have to uninstall & reinstall the printer each time to be able to print wireless again.

I use it on/on button to turn the printer off, don't disconnect not.

Please help, or I need to return to the store, this is the third time!

I also had the same issue and after a few game it seemed to have fixed so here's what I did... Hope this helps someone else.

-My printer is connected to my wireless network.

-On my computer that I'm connected to the printer through the IP address 192.168.1.153... (Yours may vary) in a browser

    * You can find the ip address printers on the control panel of the printers by pushing the wireless button and pushing the ok option 1, it should appear with the intensity of the signal and the ip address is at the bottom.

-Once I was on the Printers page in my browser, I went to the tab network at the top.

-Then to Internet Printing Protocol section (on the left in the advanced settings)

-On my own PPI was already on, but the location was empty I put a '1' in the location box and then applied settings.

-C' is the only thing that I changed and now my printer is asleep as always, but when I print something from my iphone, mac or pc it wakes up and prints as it is supposed to!

BTW before I went to the printer via the browser. I changed layout sleep in 15 minutes via the Control Panel on the printer itself, don't know if it helped the issue or not because I still had the problem of sleep after I set the timer to 15 minutes instead of 5 min. But I solved my problem after performing the steps above!

Also note that on the one hand some ppl on here say it's a network problem or a router! This is NOT the case I never even tried these roads and I solved my problem only by changing the setting of the printer! I have not set a static ip address or something like that!  The above steps is things ONLY I touched and my problem is SOLVED!

  • Wireless printer has stopped printing

(HP4680) wireless printer suddenly stopped printing wireless.

She can still attached USB printing another PC. Windows 7 64-bit.

The printer wireless network Test report shows excellent connectivity and no problem.

Try printing a test of PC printer properties page and nothing happens. Queue shows 0 items.

    Advice appreciated.

    Problem solved.

Stop the spooler caused properties of the printer to disappear so I could not directly print a test page.

Since nothing else has worked so far, I did a restore of the system to 12 Nov and that fixes the problem.

Unfortunately using Restore from know the exact cause of the problem.

  • Wireless printer is configured, but the Setup program install HP is in an endless loop

Wireless printer is configured (HP Officejet 4500), but the Installer HP Installer is in an endless loop.  It says "Fatal error during installation." and keep trying to uninstall/reinstall/etc etc.  Printer is set up and works fine, just get rid of this crazy loop - no guidance?

    What operating system is installed?

I recommend that you uninstall the software printer of the folder in the start menu-->--> HP--> HP software uninstalling programs

After the uninstall is complete and your rebooted system install and set up the printer again.

  • OfficeJet 6500 wireless has stopped printing black

    Printer stopped printing black.

    Installed new ink cartridge

    cleaned print heads

    aligned printheads

    switch machine

    CYA colors fine print

the printer is out of warranty - about 1 1/2 years.

    Windows 7 64 bit

almost ready to Chuck it by the window

    Thanks for the info.

I tried the thing to wash and dry a couple of times.

He has not worked for me.

I had already ordered a new Printhead and installed yesterday.  But it didn't work after aligning the print head process either.

I have tried resetting by unplugging the printer and hold the # and 3 buttons on the keyboard.  He rolled and then he started printing in black ink.  Yay!

I don't know if the old print head would have worked if I had tried the # and 3 button Reset the process, but I'll keep the old one just in case where (after I wash again).

Just happy to have a machine working again.  Testing time to go buy more ink after you run most of the color cartridges down with reset and alignment.

  • How do I get my printer so that I stop my neighbors to use my wireless printer to print?

I am on a wireless secured with 5 other apartments and a person has been recently able to access and print from my wireless printer. On the printer itself, I can't find where I put a code encryption or security of the printer. So, I hope that someone could walk me through how to set up so that the printer is secure. It's a HP Officejet 6500.

In fact, it's quite possible. Simply adjust the security settings on the printer to do this. Just for printers and devices, right click on the unit, open the properties of the printer and on the 'Security' tab, you can restrict users on the same network.

This should allow you to control your printer with a little more discretion.

    Happy holidays!
